Dog Walkers in Rochester, IA

About: I grew up with a Shiba Inu, that I absolutely loved. My family has always had dogs. Currently I travel for work throughout the year, so I cannot have my own but this allows me to be connected and give animals the attention they need while giving me time with dogs that I miss. I work full-time remotely 8am - 5pm, unless I am booked and busy with traveling for work. I am happy to walk dogs in the area during my work day and let them outside and give them a walk! I will be as available as my job allows. I work from home so I am flexible to adjust my schedule to the pets needs. It’s always nice to have an animal to also give me a welcome break away from my desk or keep me company! I have a great yard that backs up to a park making it easy to exercise dogs. I have a ranch style home so no stairs for senior animals and plenty of space to be comfortable. I always make sure to listen to your scheduling and follow your directive for care.

About: I have experience with all kinds of animals including: puppies, kittens, dogs, cats, senior cats and dogs. As well as hamsters, fish, hermit crabs, and farm animals. I recently moved to Iowa and pet sitting is my full time job. I will be going on maternity leave starting in August. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I have 4 years of experience caring for dogs and cats at there homes. I always check to make sure they have fresh water and food as well as give them attention and let them out side to use the bathroom or clean litter boxes as necessary.

About: I have taken care of cats all my life and have taken care of dogs the last 15 years. I love pets and would love to meet yours. I do have a sweet kitty that gets along with dogs - she is a little picky about being around cats, but I have rooms they could stay in if necessary. I have also cared for my sister's cat that has diabetes, so I am familiar with giving insulin shots and the day to day care for these type of pets. I currently work from home during the week so I am able to hang out with your pets all day long. I am also able to take them for walks over my lunch break or let them out if they are at your home. I am also available after 5 to provide was or care if needed. I have a large fenced in yard for your fur baby to run around in and plenty of toys for us to play with. I also enjoy going for walks and would love a companion.

About: Drop ins: I’ll take your dog on a little walk before feeding them and spending time with your little furry love (20-30 minutes or so) Walking: I’ll take your pooch for a walk and/or run for as long as they require. House sitting: we will go on walks, snuggle, eat and I will be respectful of the owners home- clean up after myself and the animal so you come home to a nice clean home and you don’t have to rush to take care of your beloved fur baby! Boarding: not my preferred method of watching your pooch but if it’s absolutely needed, I can accommodate to make your pooch feel warm and welcome in my home.I have 2 large male dogs and a 2 year old- they’re great but getting older and less tolerant of other dogs.

Just recently I moved from Wisconsin, working at a humane society there where everyday I did all the basic care routines/evaluations for approximately 40 dogs. About: Hi! My name is Amanda. I have worked in doggie daycare, worked as a bather and in the sales department! At work I got to experience different breeds, temperaments and personalities! My favorite part of my job is building strong relationships with the owners and their dogs! I also have experience dropping in homes while their owners are at work, school or out of town. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I am known to have great communication skills, I am compassionate , and I am responsible. I pride myself in those traits and look forward to building a relationship with you and your family member! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. I am still available during the weekends and can also do house sitting during the days that I work! I will follow their daily routine and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. While walking them I will keep distance from other animals to ensure their safety. I will also follow all dietary needs and feeding schedules.

About: I live on a farm back home & have over a decade of animal care of all kinds! I have many farm cats and two dogs at home, as well as two cats that live with me! I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes & would love to spend time with your best friend! I am pretty free all summer & I can give as much or as little attention as your pet requires! About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.
