About: From growing up with 2 dogs to currently having a dog of my own, I understand the love that pet owners have for their furry friends! As a nurse, I have a genuine passion for helping others (and dogs!) and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. I’ll be sure to care for your pup like they’re my own! I work 3 12 hour shifts a week with a schedule that repeats itself every 3 weeks. My days off are wide open to provide care for your pet. It’s important that I understand the boundaries and commands you have established with your dog so I can continue to care for your pet in the same way you do. For drop in visits, it’s important that I know your pet’s routine, where items are, and how to get your pets attention. For walks, I would clarify where you want me to walk, how long, and any precautions I need to know about regarding how your dog interacts with others in public.

About: I love all animals! My retirement dream is to spend my days with dogs and cats. I decided why wait! I have cared for dogs and cats for over 30 years. I have always had my own pets, but I have also cared for friends, family, and neighbor's pets over the years as well. During the week and the school year I work with children. There is nothing I love more than coming home from a busy day and spending time with animals. During the day I have time over lunch for dog walks or pet care. After school hours, weekends, and summers are free to spend time with pets. In my home I have a lot of area for pets to roam and lounge around. About: Hi, my name is Christian! I’m a medical student at the University of Iowa and recently moved to the area from New Mexico. Back home I’m a dad to two playful Akitas and a plethora of other farm animals who instilled in me a love for furry friends at a young age, and here in Iowa I live with a cute Cane Corso mix and two furry kitties. I previously worked as a Vet Tech at an animal hospital for about two years and gained a ton of experiences with animals of all ages, breeds, conditions and demeanors. I’m very active and well versed in interacting with dogs and cats alike, and will even take your dog on runs with me if you’d like! I’m currently going to school full time but have a fairly flexible schedule due to the nature of online and hybrid classes. During week days, I’m available for walks, runs, daily care and periodic check-ins with your animals. During the weekend I have more availability and can work with you to accommodate your needs. I can easily work with you to accommodate your needs depending on your home, fur baby, and personal preferences. I am comfortable taking your animal out for walks, play time outside, or crating inside if you prefer.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs since I was in high school, from family members, neighbors, or friends! I can provide services for dogs, cats, smaller animals ect. I have cared for puppies that need help with potty training, special dogs that need extra care and help with certain needs, to senior dogs that need help getting up or walking around. I’ve also given oral medications for dogs at multiple different families. I have also been a Nanny for Iowa Elite Nannies since 2018 and pick up shifts for numerous families around the area. I am renovating a house so with all the things that’s going on at my home I’d prefer to come to you for a better safer environment for pets at this time. I am very active and love going on walks and playing with pets in anyway I can to make sure they get all their zoomies out. I currently work full time (7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday) as a dental assistant at North Liberty Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. I can provide drop-in visits before/after my work hours or during my free time or weekends. I can possibly do overnights at the rovers house as well if requested and works out with my schedule. My home is currently undergoing renovations at this time so I’m not offering boarding at my home. I will stay at the rovers house with their pet if requested. I love all animals and will treat them like my own. If the pets family has a routine for the animals or specific requests I will obviously follow that and do what is asked. Obviously food, water, and potty breaks are a necessity and I will provide that for your pets. If your pet has an specific diet, allergies, medications Id request that it be written down, so I can always make sure I’m giving your pet the correct portions/amounts.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs since I was born. I had two Rhodesian Ridgebacks while I grew up, and neighbors who had me watch their dogs (dachshund, shih tzu, etc.). Today, I have one dog who is about 28 pounds that I love so much. I am very comfortable with any dog breed and size because I have watched so many different dogs in the past. I am currently enrolled in college, so I am busy for only about 3 hours a day Monday-Friday. When I am free, I love to take my dog on walks, hikes, dog dates, dog park, and ice cream runs. I think it is important for dogs to get out their energy because they have so much (depending on age, and breed). I will keep close attention to any dog I am watching to make sure he/she is behaving. I will be attentive to the notes I am given to care for each and every dog. Most importantly, I will give him/her attention and love by playing with toys and cuddling.
