“Jason is great, he’s been watching my lab for a few months now in a weekly basis and has board him a few times as well. Bellamy is always happy to go in and he’s tired when I pick him up from playing with Glacier and other friends. He sends me pictures and keeps me updated. I travel often for work and knowing that he’s reliable and takes very good care of him when I’m away makes me feel better about leaving. Thank you Jason and see you soon!”

“Madison was so responsive and considerate! She sent several photos, took our dogs out regularly and kept us posted all along the way. I would absolutely recommend her!”

“Grace was a perfect fit for our spoiled little girl! Her dog Archer, is a sweet and mellow boy. We rebooked Ellie with Grace when we picked her up on Sunday, for later in the week already. We felt that comfortable with her!”

“Jake is so easy to work with. My dog had a great time while we were away. He’s always on the anxious side and Jake and his dog, Walter made him feel comfy. I didn’t worry at all while we were out of town. Thanks again!”

“I recently used Rover for the first time for a 7 night trip and found Abbey as she was highly rated and nearby. I can tell my dog Percy loved his stay and will definitely be using Abbey again in the future.”

“Pip had a wonderful time at Emily’s home with her and her Fiancés dog Frankie! Emily was flexible with scheduling pickup and drop off times and sent plenty of fun photos! Pip will be visiting again!”

About: I’ve taken care of quite a few dogs since I was young. I’ve had two dogs myself but currently don’t have any furry friends. I regularly dog-sit my parents’ dog and have occasionally watched other dogs. I do not work during the summer so I am home most of the time other than when running errands or the occasional day trip. This will allow me to keep whatever schedule your dog is used to. We have a fenced in yard with a few doggy neighbors. We do not have any furry pets at the moment so yours will get all the attention!
“Anastasiia was EXCELLENT!! Communication was great and she included daily pictures and videos. My dog has anxiety during storms and she was very compassionate with him. I couldn’t be happier with the way she treated Chipper!!”

“Trish has been fantastic with my dogs! She sent me frequent updates and images/videos of my dogs throughout their stay with her. She checked with me on anything she's not sure about regarding my dogs' diet needs and habits. I honestly cannot imagine a better sitter than Trish! I have full trust in their family taking care of my dogs.”

About: Since I was young, I’ve been watching pets such as guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, and dogs of all types. Friends and family have always relied on me to care for their pets! I am a incoming college student at the UOI just looking to save up for tuition. Currently I do not work, staying at home allows me plenty of time to focus on your pet care needs. I wake up early and am an overall productive person going on walks and a run everyday. A dog would be the perfect companion! I have one cat (kept in the primary bedroom when other pets are here) and two bunnies who are both caged. I feed all pets in the morning and ensure their water is full. My cat free roams and the bunnies each have two hours of free roam time when I am not pet sitting. I know the importance of giving animals room.
“Adela was amazing! She watched Honey for us for 2 nights and she was very responsive and sent a ton of pictures :) Honey loved the yard and playing with Adela’s dogs. Would definitely book again!”

“Our sweet rescue mutt spent the day and night boarding at Auden's and had a wonderful time. We got text and picture updates throughout. Before we boarded Mochi, we had a meet and greet with Auden at her place, which was very helpful. Thank you for taking such good care of Mochi, Auden!”

About: I love dogs and have always had them in my home. I have previously watched and cared for my neighbor's dog and an elderly dog. I would love to be able to care for and be a pal for your animals! I am currently working part time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility but am available to care for and spend quality time with your pups! I have always had dogs in my home. Currently I have a six-year-old silver lab named Sadie Mae. Previously I have cared for and watched my neighbor's dog. I love dogs and I think that I would be a good fit for this role.
“Ming was absolutely awesome, his quick solutions to my problems while I was over sea's is highly commendable, I will definitely be using him moving forward in any and all my business trips”

“Ali did a wonderful job of watching my 92 y/os Mom little white velcro dog. We felt like she listened to us and took loving care of him. Thanks for the great experience. We Highly recommend this sitter.”

Many sitters in IA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
