“Gunner really enjoyed staying with Joel and Crystal. They were so nice and took gunner on a last minute need. This was our first doggie day care and they made the whole experience very easy. They even sent us pictures with an update on how he was doing. Great prices, great service, great people. Thank you so much...you have earned a repeat customer.”

“Our pups did well with Claire on their first stay! Claire was very communicative and sent photos too. She was very patient and understanding of letting our girls adjust to a new environment. Claire is very knowledgeable and gave us a few helpful recommendations as well.”

“Tina was amazing and friendly and clearly had a great time with Cosmo. Demonstrated a solid understanding of dog behavior and offered us lots of different options for Cosmos boarding experience. Would recommend!”

“Sabrina was amazing! She sent tons of cute pictures. I have never seen Chance worn out before…he’s my energizer bunny! He slept so good the night we picked him up and he obviously had a great time playing with his new friends. I don’t think he even noticed that we were gone! I will definitely use Sabrina again!”

About: Hi, I'm Desiree! I live in the hills in Southwest Eugene with my family & fur babies: four dogs, a cat, and a bunny. So animals are my everyday life. I know that leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I treat every pet like one of my own: lots of cuddles & attention, consistent routines, and clear updates, so you never have to wonder how they're doing. I have such a passion for doing this because when I’ve had to leave my fur babies it was really hard. I’m hoping to put you at ease knowing your fur baby is receiving love and attention while you are gone 💙💜 I currently work full time but my position is one that I get to work from home. So I am available anytime to watch the animal or walk them. My dogs and bunny would stay upstairs and there is a whole living area on the second floor. There is a gate on the stairs separating the living areas (due to my dog having bad hips). Your pet gets a fenced yard / daily walks and outdoor time, regular meals on your schedule, fresh water, and plenty of attention and play. I'm comfortable giving medications and following special diets or recovery instructions, and I'll send photo or video updates during every stay. Dogs sleep inside with us. We can do a meet-and-greet first so your pet can get comfortable with me.
“My two dogs LOVED her. we all went over to meet with Susie before hand to make sure the Doggies wouldn't freak out being left with a stranger, well, they fell in love. Susie is very relaxed and had a very welcoming environment in her house, she and the bears got along famously... She sent pictures and kept us updated as to the bears day multiple times throughout their stay. I think the bears have made a good friend that they would love to go see again. Susie was more than accommodating too, she made sure they had no dietary restrictions or need to take any meds (she was more than willing to do if needed be.) We had a delay in our trip that made us a day late for our return and Susie was very nice to let the bears stay with her one more night. Thank you Susie! Ryan Melissa Kali Bear:) Lemonade Bob:)”

About: I have spent my life as a pet owner and I like to treat everyone's animals the way I would like mine to be treated. I have, at one time or another, owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits, snakes, rats, goats, horses, and chickens and am comfortable caring for many more. I know this site is mostly limited to dog and cat care, but I'm happy to pet sit anything. I am happy to care for pets either in my home or in yours and I'm very flexible regarding my schedule. Every day I care for my own household animals, and I'm more than capable of taking care of plenty more. My animals include 3 dogs of varying sizes, two cats, a parrot, and an aquatic turtle. Though I have plenty of experience with other animals as well. I'm happy to either host animals in my home or venture to pets in their own homes. I believe that my job in caring for a person's pets is to adhere to their wishes for their pets. I want to follow the expectations set for any individual animal. I love to lavish animals with love and affection, but that isn't the right approach for every animal and I need to respect the wishes of their humans within the scope of safety.
“I would highly recommend Caleb to everyone! At our meet and greet, he asked a ton of questions about my pup, Atticus, and took notes of his needs and habits. Atticus is a very itchy boy and the fact that he came home without any hotspots is a testament to Caleb's attentiveness to care. Given the opportunity, I would not hestitate to book with Caleb again. He's also a great dog photographer, to say the least!”

“Bivvy looked so happy playing with sweet Sophie the host dog. She came home from her day/overnight with Valerie and Sophie very happy and with the sweetest vibe. Thank you so much, Valerie. You’re the best!”

“Holly was incredible! I was kind of nervous as it was my first time using the service. It was an excellent first experience. Holly was very attentive and communicated well. I received pictures and even video! My dogs were very comfortable and at home with her! 10/10 recommend! Will definitely go with Holly again in the future!”

About: Hi, nice to meet you! As a fellow pet parent to a 7 year old German Shepherd mix and an 11 year old cat, I know how much peace of mind it brings to find someone you can truly trust. With over 10 years of pet-sitting experience, my goal is to become your pet’s (second) best friend and make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away! I care for pets of every shape, size, and life stage! Whether you have an energetic puppy or kitten, a sweet senior who needs gentle care, or a three-legged companion with unique needs, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I also have a soft spot for pets who are anxious, timid, or reactive and need a little extra patience. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, administering medications, and giving every pet the time, space, and attention they deserve. My dog occasionally joins me on sits when everyone is comfortable around other dogs, but she absolutely doesn’t have to come along! I always have care arranged for her at home, so I can accommodate whatever setup works best for your pets. Want to check out my reviews? ⭐ This Rover profile is new because I’m expanding my services across multiple regions in Oregon, but I’m happy to share my primary Rover profile so you can read my 5 star reviews and feedback from previous clients! I’d love to meet you and your furry family members and become someone you can count on whenever you need an extra hand ❤️ I’m currently taking a step back from full-time teaching to focus on substitute teaching, tutoring, and pet sitting! This gives me a more flexible schedule, allowing me to plan ahead and make sure your pets get all the attention, love, and consistency they deserve. Whether you have an energetic dog who loves long walks or hikes, a senior pet who needs medication, or a cozy cat who just wants some company, I’ll treat your pets like mine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to be more than just a sitter. I want to be a reliable sitter you can count on, and be your pet’s second best friend! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each pet and follow your instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to walks, playtime, and their usual routines. I’m especially comfortable caring for anxious, timid, or reactive pets and understand the importance of patience, reassurance, and giving them space when they need it. Whether I’m caring for your pets in your home or mine, I want them to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. 99% of sitters in Wendling can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wendling.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
