About: Safety is always my number one priority while pet sitting. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a safe environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and owner guidelines to keep every pet healthy, comfortable, and protected at all times. Although I do work a part-time job, I try my best to fit pet sitting in my schedule because it’s what I love to do! Animals will always be well taken care of, I insure that your pets will be let out before I have to take off for work, making sure water is full and fresh. I will be back to love and care you’re pet in a timely manner! Although I do not offer boarding, I prefer watching animals in their owner’s home because I feel like it makes the animals more comfortable to be in a well-known environment. My biggest priority is making sure the owners have peace of mind while they are away and know that their animals are in a safe hands.

The thing about Journey that I am most appreciative of is that she has Fear Free certification. She showed in all her communication with me that she understood Guinness’s needs through his body language and was respectful of his boundaries (however long they lasted, apparently he got pretty cuddly!). I will definitely be bringing Guinness back for boarding, daycare, and probably grooming too. I can’t express how grateful I am to imagine being able to board Guinness and therefore travel again! About: I have taken care of friends, neighbors, family and client's pets for over 3 years and love every minute of it. Growing up my I have been around animals all my life and learned to take care of cats, to dogs, all the way to horses. I am very attentive with certain needed medications your pet may need as well as being patient with any nervous nelly pets that come my way. I am currently working part-time at home, so this allows me to give lots of attention to your fury-loved ones. I also have two friendly and well-behaved king Charles at home who love when new friends come over. My weekly schedule is very open so you can rest assure your pet will be well taken care of. I currently live in a fourplex that has a fenced yard where your pet will be freely to roam around in the well-kept garden with frequent walks throughout the day. My house is always clean, with fresh water laying around at the pet's convenience.

About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. Whether your dog (aka family member) wants snuggles, a cozy nap spot, playtime with my dog, or a little quiet space to themselves, I follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently in between jobs, which means I’m home full‑time and able to give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day/night. My home is relaxed, warm, and set up for dogs to feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. I keep things safe, clean, and low‑stress, and I follow each dog’s natural rhythm — whether that’s playtime, naps, snuggles, or simply hanging out nearby. I share my home with my young male mix‑breed dog (born 12/6/24), a poodle/wire‑haired terrier mix who’s neutered, well‑behaved, and absolutely loves meeting new dog friends. He’s gentle, social, and always happy to have a buddy around, but I also make sure every visiting dog has space and downtime whenever they want it.

I’m in the process of moving back to Eugene after a long absence, and while house sitting this week, needed someone to watch my dog Everett for a few hours while I ran some errands. It’s been nonstop travel/driving/boxes all summer and was concerned that Ev would be freaked out by yet another change in scenery…but it was instantly clear during the meet and greet that Ruthie’s house, coupled with her training and experience, would make for an excellent home-away-from-home environment. About: I worked in Veterinary medicine as a CVT for 15 years. I’m now in real estate so I have the experience but am able to work from home and spend hours with animals that need special care & medications (whether orally, injectable or topically). I am comfortable with most farm animals as well. My rates are based off of pets that need that extra care/ medications etc. Depending on their needs (or ease of care) my rates can be flexible! Just ask and we can discuss your/your pets needs to figure it out I am available for walks or drop ins most days but for boarding (my house or yours), I am available Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend. Because I can work from home your animals don’t have to be lonely while you’re away! I am active, healthy and smoke free. I love walking dogs, running them at the park, playing chase or tug a war or whatever shenanigans your pet loves. I’ve raised goats, chickens and pigs and have some experience with cows and horses. I have helped with reptiles and birds too.. As having worked in day practice and emergency medicine I have a wide knowledge and experiences with various medical needs, diseases and behaviors. I pay close attention to body language and want to make your time away as stress free and reassured as possible. I am happy to help with house needs during the stay as well such as watering plants, getting the mail, taking out the trash, etc.
About: Have had a dog or cat my whole life. Love having them around they can bring happiness to any day. Love getting to know their different personalities, they are easier to figure out then people sometimes. I love the companionship and non judgemental ways that animals can be. I'm a stay at home mom right now, have 2 children but both are older. So I have plenty of time on my hands to focus on taking care of an animal, I also know my kids would definitely not mind having an animal around every once and awhile. I have had experience over the years of walking multiple breeds of dogs. I'm fully capable of handling any dog. And I am able to handle any kind of cats as well.
