“My stella had a great time! I felt great about my choice from the moment I dropped her off, and we’ll definitely come back whenever it’s needed! I got the sweetest pictures to look at; I didn’t feel any type of worry while I was gone because I knew my dog was in great hands and safe:)”

About: I've taken care of 14 dogs and 4 cats of my own from ages 3 years to senior. Now all deceased (pics are on this web page under "my pets") has afforded me to take care of your furry kids. I am well versed in medications regimes and specialty foods. I have been through major surgeries with my pets as well. A few resources I've used: Books: Forever dog author Becker and Habib. My favorite pet wellness people: Karen Becker DVM and Rodney Habib Trainers: Brandon McMillan and Cesear Milan Filer Idaho has a great natural herbalist Dr.Jones where you can find herbs for your pets you can also speak to Dr. Jones in person at his herbal shop. I work remotely from home part time which affords me to be able to board and do drop in's, play, feed, water, medicate and/or go for walks with your pups.. Boarding at my home: I have an XL dog door with a ramp (this helps senior dogs or any dog that may have orthopedic issues) right into our BIG back yard where the dogs can do there zoomies, play in the kiddie pool or water mat in the summer. They will stay hydrated well with our XL stainless steel water bowl. Fully fenced backyard all grass no ROCKS. Drop in's to your home if you choose: Hoping that you have a dog door if not I will take the dog (s) out for walks as well as play with them. (I come equip with lick-it mats and treat balls etc). ).

“Katy and her kiddos were great with Sadie. This was our 1st time using Rover and Katy made it a great experience.”

About: I've owned large/giant breed dogs my whole life. These breeds are a huge responsibility to keep them and others safe at all times. I'm experienced with Mastiffs, Rottweilers, pitbulls and Labs. I work from home and so I'm always available for your dogs needs. I stay up late and get up early and so I don't miss much that happens. I have a fenced grassy area for play time and I have multiple outdoor kennel spaces so your dog can get fresh air during the day instead of being cooped up inside all day. At night, I prefer to kennel animals inside for their safety. My children (9,7 and 3) love playing with dogs and so there is no shortage of available exercise and interaction time.

“I had Emily watch my Willow while I was in town for an event. She was very accommodating with my schedule and sent daily pictures!”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child and taken care of dogs and cats for 15+ years. I watch my family’s pets and neighbors dogs/cats when they go out of town. I stay overnight, or let them out, exercise, feed, take them to the vet, or administer meds. I volunteered and fostered numerous dogs and cats with Broken Hearts Rescue for 7 years. I am self employed, so I am free to set my own schedule to visit and take care of your pups and kitties weekdays and weekends! Our dogs are generally kept indoors, but I have a big fenced yard so they are let out numerous times throughout the day, for longer periods of time with nice weather. They don’t sleep outside at night. Our cat is free to roam, but generally sticks close to home and indoors.

2. Lori Z.
“I have known Lori K. for 3 years now. In that time I have been able to leave my dog, Jax, from 2 nights to 14 nights while on travel, without a concern or worry. Lori sends pictures from time to time. Jax is walked regularly and fed well per my request on diet. I can tell that Jax has had a good time and thinks of Lori as a second home because when I walk by her house, he wags his tale and wants to go over to say hello. She keeps a clean place for the animals and has a dog door with a ramp when needed so the dogs don't hurt themselves. Jax is 14 and has short legs. I had the opportunity to meet her husky and cat and witnessed the wonderful care she gave them. She also goes out of her way to rescue lost or yard escapee dogs and make sure they are returned safely to their . I Highly recommend her as a responsible and caring pet caregiver!”

8. Jeanne R.
“Jeanne is the best. We travel a lot, but after our senior dog couldn’t handle the stress of being kenneled, we needed someone trustworthy and responsible to stay with him in our home. Jeanne has been the perfect fit. When we travel she stays in our home and cares for both our dog and cat. They both absolutely love Jeanne, and bonus: we come home to a spotless house. You would never know she had been there. Our cat ended up getting really sick when we were in St. Lucia, and Jeanne called us as soon as she noticed signs of stress. She then took him to the animal hospital to get checked out. She was quick to collect a urine sample in a baggie for the vet, which was very helpful in determining the issue. After the appointment she administered the meds our kitty needed until we returned home. She literally saved our cat’s life. Jeanne has a magic touch with pets, and so much love for them. If she is available when you need her, don’t hesitate.”
