My goal is to treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same level of care I would want for my own. To ensure the safety of both pets and myself, I require a meet and greet before accepting new clients and may decline bookings if I don’t feel I’m the right fit for a pet’s specific behavioral needs.

About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. I also love taking pets on little adventures, like trips to nearby parks, to keep them engaged and happy. About: Hi! We’re Kathy and Val. We recently moved to Albuquerque from Santa Fe. We both work from home as contractors and are available for dog boarding and doggie day care at our home. We have 2 dogs, Odin and Brady, who are very friendly. We are very active and enjoy long walks, hikes, etc. We also enjoy cuddling with dogs and sharing lots of love with them. Since we work from home our schedule is flexible. We are available from 7am - 9pm. Daycare (full day) and boarding include a 1-2hr hike, depending on activity level and need of the dog. For boarding the hikes can be as often as every other day depending on their activity level and needs. I currently work from home so caring for my pet and the pets of others is a nice way for me to get off the computer and outside. Your dog will receive play-time, walks, cuddles, and treats (if allowed) from me! I try to stick to their routine/times of going out as much as possible.
