About: Hello! I’m Marcella A and I’m currently going to cnm, majoring in veterinary medicine. My passion is to be a voice to those who can’t speak for themselves. This volunteer work at my job shadow (on resume) has given me hands-on experience handling different animal breeds and understanding the deep emotional bond between pets and their owners. I observed a cat surgery, the importance of aftercare and recovery. I’ve studied a Certified Veterinary Technologies performing a venipuncture safely. Growing up I had a lot of animals ranging from snakes, gerbils, hamsters, birds to cats and dogs. In a sense it taught me a lot of responsibility at a young age. I’ve had years of experience understanding the right diet/nutrition, structured hygienic health, behavioral patterns/management and medication needed for fuzzy friends! Currently I have OPEN availability! No furry companion is too big or too small to provide dietary/nutritional feeding times, potty breaks, midday check-ins, local dog walks, structured hygiene, health tracking & emergency preparedness! About: I’ve always had a variety of pets in my house. Growing up my family cared for dogs, turtles, fish, hamsters, frogs, hermit crabs, and chickens. We never owned a cat because my mom is allergic to them but since I moved in with my auntie during university, I have lived with one and have loved it! With my grandma, we currently have 6 dogs! We had two (a chihuahua mixed with poodle and another mixed dog) who are the parents of the other four. I was the only one in my house present when my doggy gave birth to all her babies and I was more than excited to be there with her :) I’m a full-time university student at NMSU. I made this account because I plan to be available everyday during my breaks. This might change for a couple of days but I’m not sure yet. Since I will be on break I also plan to be available nights and weekends. My dogs are family dogs and live outside. I don’t have a house of my own but live with my grandma and mom along with my three siblings and one cousin. The dogs are cared for amongst all family members.

About: Now serving the greater Albuquerque Area! To all of my Utah clients, I miss your pups 💜 I moved to Albuquerque in September 2023. When I moved to Utah, by myself, in January 2023, I got lonely and craved animal connection, so I began with Rover. It has been such a great thing in my life. I hope to continue my services in New Mexico. I now have 2 pups of my own, but my partner cares for them when I am sitting. I will never bring them to a sit unless prior meeting and permission of the owners. Bloopers and Scub are young, big, lover boys with a lot of energy. They LOVE other dogs. Sophie, my senior pup, had to be put down before I moved to Utah. I cared for her heart and kidney failure for 3 years. I am experienced with senior pups and can handle all the way down to puppies, too. I love cats. I am also a trained bird handler. I have pet sit for my professors and coworkers before, from hunting lab puppies to senior Maltese. Since moving to Utah at the beginning of the year, I have house sat, done drop-ins, and walks. I have house sat for all kinds of pups from labs to yorkies, goldendoodles to bulldogs. I work a very flexible full-time, telework option, job. I can check/walk in morning, lunch, dinner and through the night if needed. Week days and weekends. I have extensive experience giving pets drugs and other heath needs. I can do any form of exercise or travel needed. I will always double check doors are locked and secured.

About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. About: I have had cats and dogs around since I was a child. I have been boarding for almost 2 years, and walking/doing check-ins for nearly 8 years. I started out doing walks to help fill my want for pets. But now that I have two of my own, I realized this is something I really love doing and it is always a joy to meet other peoples' fur babies. In my home, I do have one other dog who LOVES to play and gets along with every animal and human he meets. I have a scaredy cat, and a handful of kiddos who I have taught animal etiquette to since they were all babies. We have cared for the smallest dogs to the largest. We have had older dogs, puppies, dogs recovering from surgery, and females in heat (although not at the moment until our puppy is fixed). We love your babies like they are our own, and love to be able to take them with us if we ever go on any adventures while they are here (of course, with permission!) I am a stay at home mom, so I am home the majority of the day to care for any animals in my home. My kids are AMAZING with animals, as I have taught lots of animal etiquette over the years caring for animals -- and now that we have our own fur babies too. In my home, we just treat your fur babies like one of our own. We give them lots of attention, play time, walk time, etc. I also incorporate your schedules with ours (ie feeding, etc). If there are any special requests, I fulfill those needs. When I go to a clients home, I respect everything around me and be as gentle and careful as to make sure that the fur babies are comfortable with me in their home.

About: I’m a biggg animal lover, a vegan of 10 years, former animal shelter worker & doggy foster mom🤍 a few years ago, I rescued my dog, Blue. Working with trainers for my own dog has deepened my commitment to positive reinforcement and understanding each dog’s unique needs. I’m a full-time registered nurse, so I’m confident administering medications and managing special care routines. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes—from tiny companions to giant breeds—and I take the time to learn each dog’s quirks, preferences, and sensitivities to make sure they feel safe, happy, and understood. I live in an apartment with plenty of outdoor time, including long walks and play sessions, and I’m happy to help with feeding, training, and care. I currently only work 3 days a week, so I’m usually free the rest of my days off. I’m pretty flexible on scheduling things if you have any last minute needs. I work night shift, so if your dog is fine being left alone overnight let me know and I can board longer than my listed days! I have a pet cam to keep an eye on them overnight. Dog walking/drop-ins: I can come to your home, feed your pup breakfast/dinner, take them out for a quick potty break, play time, or go on a super long walk to tire them out! I’d love to know your dog’s routine, likes/dislikes, an level of energy! Doggy day care: Your dog can hang with me & mine for the day! Guaranteed fun times, cuddles, walks! I love making my space a welcoming & calm environment. I consider myself active, so if your dog is up for adventures/hikes, let me know! Your dog must be house trained & friendly with other dogs. Boarding: If your dog is being boarded with me, they’ll need to be friendly with other dogs, including my playful pup and occasionally my roommate’s small Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for the last 7 years. I love house sitting and spending time cuddling with pups or playing outside with them. I have experience giving elder dogs medications or following detailed care instructions. I have a full-time job and work in the office Monday through Thursday. Otherwise, I’m available to be with your pup at home taking care of them. I’m familiar with crate training, as I crate my own dogs when I’m gone. I’m always happy to a walk through of how to lock things up and set up things to keep your fur babies safe. For walking, I’ve used harnesses and gentle leads.

I currently have four cats of my own and volunteer at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, where I help make sure every homeless kitty gets the love and attention they deserve. In addition to pet sitting and walking for friends and neighbors since middle school, I’ve worked at a professional doggy daycare and boarding facility. There, I was responsible for supervising group play, feeding dogs with specific dietary needs, administering medications (including pills and liquids), bathing dogs, and keeping their environment clean, safe, and fun. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, a nice walk, or making sure your pet sticks to their routine, I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family! My schedule is flexible, but I do have classes from 11–12 and 1–2 on weekdays. I’m typically available in the mornings, afternoons after 2, and evenings for walks, drop-ins, or pet sitting. I’m usually off on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which means I often have more availability those days. However, I do occasionally work, so my schedule may vary slightly. I follow feeding routines, provide plenty of playtime and walks, and give them all the attention they need. For dogs, I love going on walks and spending time outdoors. For cats, I offer lots of affection (when they want it!) and make sure litter boxes are kept clean. Whether it’s staying overnight or stopping by for a check-in, I always treat every pet like my own.

About: I’ve house sited for friends and neighbors pets. I love all animals since I was little and I know it gets hard when people are busy to care for pets and I would love to help I’m currently working full time but I’m off on weekends and can even fit time to visit after work hours if needed. I have a pretty flexible schedule so anything that works around your schedule as well I will always provide a safe environment for all animals. About: I have worked at Dogtopia and was trained to feed, bathe, walk, play and help dogs. I worked with over 40 dogs at a time. I learned how to manage dogs and also help animals become more comfortable in an environment. I love all animals and am so excited to meet yours! This is my full time job so my time is yours! I am very flexible and will work with you!! I am an early riser and have a vehicle to make my way to you with no problem. Unfortunately, now I will not be able to host animals at my home. But I can stop by and take care of your animals for as long as you need.
