“Bonni J was a great communicator, posted pictures and video each day. She was lovely to trust my babies with. For a second, I didn’t think they would want to come home. Wonderful job!! I will be booking her from now on.”

“Pat was wonderful to Smokey and a great help to us. She was very knowledgeable and had great advice for our senior dog. I definitely recommend her!”
“Cecilia is a wonderful caretaker for my dog Baldr, I have left him with her twice. She is very communicative and kind and I feel comfortable leaving my beloved older dog with her.”

“I thought Maellen was terrific. A few days before our cruise, Lili, our corgi had to be fitted with "the cone of shame" for a skin condition. I contacted Maellen to see if this would create a problem and offered to find another sitter but Maellen said it would be fine. She treated the skin condition twice a day took excellent care of Lili for the 7 day cruise. Lili obviously had a great time and was in excellent condition. She did not seem to be in a big hurry to leave so I know she liked it. THANK YOU, MAELLEN.”

“My pup had a great time with Josie, her husband and especially their dog Paco. I got daily pictures and updates so that I never had to worry 🥰 Our dog needs daily medicine and they had no problem making sure she got it, they were even able to get around her pill defenses by putting it in cream cheese (a new trick I'm definitely adopting)! I was especially happy to hear how well our dogs got along and that lots of play and tug of war sessions were had 😄 Pepper was treated like family and we'll absolutely rebook next time we have to go away.”

“Jamie and Patrick were great with Ruth and Thurgood! They came back tired and happy from their vacation, it was wonderful. I’d recommend highly!”

“Patricia does a great job caring for my two small dogs. One of my dogs recently had a tummy issue, and was still weaning back to kibble from a chicken & rice diet when they went to Patricia's. Patricia was willing to follow the schedule I provided, and mix my dog's kibble with chicken and rice to finish weaning her back to pure kibble. My dogs get along with Patricia's small dog, Sophie, and enjoy their surroundings during their stay (Patricia has a beautiful patio and spends time with them outside). They always come back happy and healthy. Patricia is a great sitter!”

“Melissa and Carlos are amazing! We couldn’t have been happier with the care Watson received. We received several pictures daily throughout the week. They took him on walks and just treated him with so much love. When we picked him up they said if he wasn’t in such a loving home they would want to keep him. They went beyond out expectations. We look forward to his next stay.”

“Lauren was great! As someone with hyper dogs, I super happy that Lauren was able to take them to the dog park and on walks to get their zoomies out. I could tell my pups felt right at home with her. 10/10”

“Joshua has a great way about him and the big yard/environment felt right for my pup. When I was away Joshua’s photos gave me relief that my dog was having a great time. Will definitely go back!”

“My dog and I met Cindy and her dog before we boarded with her for the first time. It was apparent right away that she was capable of providing a good, caring home environment for my dog. I felt very comfortabke knowing he would be in the best place away from home. My 12 year old dog takes daily meds that were adminustered properly. He ate his meals, was abke to go into the yard and enjoyed her glass front door to look out. I highly recommend Cindy as a dog sitter and have booked our next visit She is the type of person you can feel confident leaving your beloved pets with.”

“Our dog Willow was in great hands with Doug while we took an out of state trip. Doug is a terrific communicator and very responsive. He sent photos of walks with Willow, and seemed to truly enjoy our pup. Doug was super flexible about drop off and pick up times, which we greatly appreciated!”

“Ben did an awesome job watching my two boxers. They can be high energy pups and that didn’t seem to bother him at all. They got lots of love, we got lots of pics and would definitely book Ben again.”

“Kristle is a gem! I’m very picky about who and where I leave my two dogs. Kristle kept in touch with me multiple times a day, at my request. Her home was clean and tidy and her yard well fenced. When I picked my dogs up from Kristle they were clean, happy and I could tell they had been well kept! I will definitely use Kristle’s services again. She is a precious person!”

“First time using Mina and Hannah and they were great. We received many updates and pictures and our dog had a couple of walks in a short stay. Also quick to respond with the booking process.”

“The best!! Thomas and Matthew took such great care of our dog and made him feel at home. I really appreciated the photo updates and will definitely be requesting them again - highly recommend! 😁”

“Holly & Robert were great. This was my first time boarding with them and I couldn’t be happier. Great communication and response time. Updates and pictures. I felt my Labradoodle was in good hands. Would definitely recommend.”

“Brigit did a great job caring for our kitty. I like that she sent a picture of our cat each time she came over. I will definitely call on Brigit again when needing someone to take care of our kitty. She’s reliable and knowing she was there for us made me feel less stressed while I was away.”

“Alexus has such a great approach towards pets, especially shy cats! My super reserved cat ended up accepting treats, my cuddle bug cat got lots of affection, and I received detailed updates with super cute photos. I would highly recommend her and will be using her services again!”

About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. I also love taking pets on little adventures, like trips to nearby parks, to keep them engaged and happy. For your peace of mind, I’m happy to provide daily updates with photos and messages, so you always know your pet is safe, relaxed, and having a great time.

“Jennifer is dependable, reliable, and professional. Felix really likes her and she is good with him and to him. Jennifer left our home neat and cleaned up (cat dishes, litter box etc) and followed all instructions. I highly recommend Jennifer and Felix will see her again, I am am sure! Thank you Jennifer!!”

“Jessica is so flexible with the schedule . She was patient with one of our kitties who is bit territorial towards her . She also helped out with watering the indoor plants.”

About: I’ve had cats for many years and currently have two of my own, so I understand how different each cat’s personality can be. Through both my veterinary background and pet sitting experience, I’ve cared for cats ranging from playful kittens to seniors, including shy, fearful, and medically complex cats. I’m comfortable giving medications, monitoring litter box habits, recognizing changes in behavior or appetite, and following detailed routines. Whether a cat enjoys playing, cuddling, or simply wants a quiet presence, I adapt my care to what makes them feel safest and most comfortable.
“Jen and Kate were awesome. They let me book last minute during the Holidays. They made it so easy. My first ever use of Rover. I will be back and will look to these lovely ladies first. My cat can be a bit on the feral side. They patiently worked with my growly fuzzball over the week. She was obviously well cared for when I returned.”

About: from grumpy do-nothing cats, to adventurous outdoor sight seekers, i’ve owned and cared for all types of cats. I’m willing to meet your cat where they are, whether that’s hanging out on opposite sides of the room, to hiking around together. Don’t tell the dogs this, but cats own my heart and i’ll probably be more fond of your grumpy buddy than any man’s best friend.

“Skyler was very attentive to our senior cats needs. She went out of her way to make Seeker was comfortable with her, and she was very reliable about communicating with us daily.”

“Fiery was responsive, communicative, and above all really really passionate and loving with my cat! she was punctual, and always left wonderful notes and pictures of my cat engaging in energetic play. an amazing sitter, just went above and beyond in being communicative and clearly loving and caring about animals. would definitely reccommend to others in the ABQ area! 5/5 stars.”

About: I have loved cats since my childhood and have several of my own. I have cared for cats of all ages and sizes, the youngest being 2 weeks old and the oldest being 23 years old. I am a veterinary assistant and am comfortable with responsibilities such as administering medications, special diets, sub-q fluids, etc.

“Denise did a great job with my cats. She not only sent me pictures, but also periodic updates of how they were doing. It was clear that she loves cats and made sure they were well taken care of. I felt really good knowing she was there!”

“Sara was great with our anxious cat! She did a lot to make him feel comfortable, he has a problem with strangers but took treats from her and even ate while she was in the house - a big deal for him!”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs and have plenty of experience taking care of both! From taking walks, feeding, bathing and light grooming, I am no stranger to the nitty gritty! Especially when it comes to paying close attention and giving proper care to each pet! Currently I have a 3 legged cat named Frodo who enjoys going on trail walks and hikes. So I’m definitely open to unconventional and adaptive approaches to exercise/feeding/grooming! I hope to lend a hand in caring for your fluffy friend! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time during the week to make stop in visits and go for walks! As well as make time for your pets on the days I do work too. Using a leash on walks, going to fenced in spaces to play and making sure theres water ready and available during these times :) Making accommodations for each pet is important to me!

“Far and away a better experience than the first go on Rover. She kept us informed with text updates and pictures of the doggos. Sweet hounds and plenty of space to roam. Your dogs are safe in her hands!”

“Jody was amazing with our new rescue, Teddy. She was very communicative and worked with us on all of Teddy's quirks like separation anxiety and leash reactivity. Teddy definitely had a fun day full of fun and adventure! We super appreciate Jody working with us on such late notice and for being so kind!”

“Always amazing! Punnarai is caring and attentive. My pup is excited to be dropped off and (sadly for me) tentative to leave the fun environment she creates for him while he’s there. Definitely recommend.”

“We are delighted with the care Peter provided Oliver. Oliver loved going to doggie daycare at Peter’s, in particular all of the outings he went on. We will definitely call on Peter to watch Oliver in the future. Thank you.”

“Josie, her husband, and Paco took great care of my Pip while we were vacationing in ABQ. Having Pip go over to her house allowed us to get some hikes, bike rides, and brunches in without having to worry is our young, energetic dog was being destructive or bored at the Airbnb. Highly recommend, and will definitely request Josie again when we return.”

“Toast had the best day at daycare with Kathy and the crew! She took the time to make my slow to warm up pup feel right at home. I really appreciated the pupdates thought out the day and the fact she got to go out on a hike (a favorite activity of hers). Would definitely recommend and Toast can’t wait for her next adventure day!”

“Cecilia and family were very kind and understanding of Buffalo’s insecurity being left behind. Her dogs were very kind with my dog and had no issues. She kept in contact with me and sent me pictures that reassured me that Buffalo was comfortable and safe.”

“Cindy was great with my 2 year old baby. I sent Sandia for my 12 hour shifts and Cindy was flexible with pick up and drop off times. I got lots of picture updates. Sandia loved playing in the backyard with Cindy’s other dogs. She was so at ease during drop-offs, giving me peace of mind that she felt safe in Cindy’s home. Thanks again :)”

“Bonni was good with our little Havanese dog. I liked the yard area including some grass. Bonni was accommodating to our schedule of daytime/evening schedules. We took our dog with us at night. Thanks Bonni!”

“Jason is great! My pups love going to his house for daycare. They are older and its always hard to find a place where they are comfortable like they are at home, but they are always excited whenever I drop them off!”

“Melinda was so kind and such an incredible caretaker for our dog while we were in Albuquerque for a day. She was such a quick responder to all messages, was so sweet, and truly exemplified what it meant to be a “dog lover.” She made sure all accommodations were met for our little Luna and made us feel at ease while we got our car fixed. Would definitely recommend Melinda to anyone looking for a sitter for the day or overnight!”

“My first time here on Rover and we had a great experience. Thank you so much! I’m so happy I found Leslie & James. The dogs were in great hands and I felt reassured they will be cared for from the get go.”

“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”
About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.
“Christina is a very thoughtful sitter! She has a great set up. Extra dog crates, a gate before the door so no one runs out, covered couch she lets the dogs up on, and a good little yard. My dog had a blast playing with her and other dog she was watching. We were delayed in our travels and she was very flexible! Told me not to rush and sent a ton of pictures letting me know Lyra was having a good time. She even let me book last minute with a quick meet and greet the night before. Thanks Christina!”

“Cassandra has been amazing! She clearly loves dogs and treats ours with so much care and affection. She’s reliable, communicative, and always goes the extra mile. We feel completely at ease knowing our dog is in such great hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)

About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!
“Ethanee has been sitting/walking my oliver since he was two months old. He ADORES her and I’m so grateful for her care. She’s attentive, kind, communicative, punctual and respectful of my home/care requests for him. I will use her as long as her schedule allows!”

“Leah is fantastic with Dobby. Our first meet and greet last month went very well with my normally reactive dog. But once Dobby sensed Leah’s energy - kind and safe - he had trust in her. He is excited when he see’s Leah and they have really good walks where his tongue is hanging out. We are grateful to have Leah help out with walking Dobby each week!”

“Joanne has been walking my dog Lilly for a few months now, and has also done a couple of overnight stays with her. Lilly is an anxious dog who takes a lot of patience, and Joanne has done a great job! She’s always on time and very reliable, I would highly recommend her services!”

About: I grew up around dogs ages 1-13 and have spent 3 years taking care of other dogs. I'm experienced in providing medication, cleaning up after them, and preparing food. I'm always ready to hear what your dog needs! I am a current student at UNM, and I have a part-time job. I am always home in the evenings, and have time to come home and make sure your animal is well fed, and all needs are met! I also have enough time to pklay with your pet and make them feel loved. I have a fenced-in yard and live right next to a park that we can walk to and play at so they get all their energy out. I will also make sure your pet is safe and comfortable, and do everything in my power to make sure they are having the same relaxing vacation as you! I love going on walks and playing with animals, so no matter where we are, they will have a great time!

About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.
About: I’ve always had a variety of pets in my house. Growing up my family cared for dogs, turtles, fish, hamsters, frogs, hermit crabs, and chickens. We never owned a cat because my mom is allergic to them but since I moved in with my auntie during university, I have lived with one and have loved it! With my grandma, we currently have 6 dogs! We had two (a chihuahua mixed with poodle and another mixed dog) who are the parents of the other four. I was the only one in my house present when my doggy gave birth to all her babies and I was more than excited to be there with her :) I’m a full-time university student at NMSU. I made this account because I plan to be available everyday during my breaks. This might change for a couple of days but I’m not sure yet. Since I will be on break I also plan to be available nights and weekends. My dogs are family dogs and live outside. I don’t have a house of my own but live with my grandma and mom along with my three siblings and one cousin. The dogs are cared for amongst all family members.

“Kristle did an awesome job checking on and walking both my dogs together. Both of them are strong and my younger dog can be a challenge. She communicates well and sent me pictures. She went above and beyond what I asked. I will certainly be asking her to walk my dogs in the future! ”

“We were looking for a trustworthy, dependable walker for our rambunctious dog and Melissa fits the bill! She seems like a genuinely good person who our dog just adores. It's hard to let a stranger handle your beloved pets. Your friend is in good hands with Melissa! We'll continue to use her for daily walks.”
About: Now serving the greater Albuquerque Area! To all of my Utah clients, I miss your pups 💜 I moved to Albuquerque in September 2023. Sophie, my senior pup, had to be put down before I moved to Utah. I cared for her heart and kidney failure for 3 years. I am experienced with senior pups and can handle all the way down to puppies, too. I love cats. I am also a trained bird handler. I have pet sit for my professors and coworkers before, from hunting lab puppies to senior Maltese. Since moving to Utah at the beginning of the year, I have house sat, done drop-ins, and walks.

“Thank you so so much for taking care of Leo and doing an excellent job! Thanks for being so kind to us during our chaotic cross country move and flexible on the pick up and drop off times. We knew Leo was well taken care of!! Will definitely remember you when we need a doggy sitter again!”

“Kevin is a wonderful dog sitter!! He took an amazing care of our boy: 2-year-old great Dane. He kept sending us updates: texts, pictures and videos. He even let Leo sleep in his bed! When we came back after few days of travels Leo was relaxed, rested and happy. We were very pleased and will definitely go back. Kevin, thank you very much! :) ”
