“Kelly was amazing with both of my dogs! She sent me lots of photos of them enjoying her back yard and also cuddled up on the couch. I would trust her with Kuri & Kane anytime! Bonus points to her as well because one of my dogs can be grumpy with other dogs at times and Kelly did phenomenal with her.”

“I had a great experience with Saranya. They were communicative, reliable, and clearly cared about my pet’s well-being. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My pet came home happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to others!”

“Bryan and his wife took amazing care of our sweet puppy Maple while my husband and I were away! It makes us so happy when other people love our pup as much and we do, and Bryan loved up on Maple like she was his own! We will definitely bring her back to him for our next trip!”

“Madhu and her family did an excellent job watching my dog while I was out of town. We had never left our dog overnight, and Madhu was very responsive to all of our questions. While we were away, we received updates and photos, which further relieved any fears we had about leaving our dog. He absolutely loved his stay and was obviously well cared for. Thanks so much!”

“Kelly took wonderful care of my dog, Jeze, and I couldn’t be more grateful! Jeze can be a bit particular about eating but Kelly went above and beyond and hand fed her. Kelly was patient, attentive, and clearly experienced with animals. She kept me updated with photos and messages, and it was obvious that Jeze was happy and comfortable. I had total peace of mind while I was away, and I would absolutely trust Kelly again. Highly recommend!”

“Brandon did great with Bailey! I could tell she really had fun. Met her bestyyy ZZ and was pretty bummed about going home as soon as we put her in the car😆 won’t stop whining as soon as we got home. Will definitely book brandon again! Real soon.”

“I can’t say enough about Amy and family and how well she cared for our pup while we were away. She was sure to familiarize herself with Junie’s commands, daily schedule and routine all to make sure she was comfortable without us. Communication was great with daily updates and pics, including things she knew I would be worried about (like how she slept the first night)! Junie was well loved and well taken care of while we were gone. We will definitely contact Amy again for any Rover needs in the future!”

“Debbie is awesome!!! I would highly recommend Debbie to anyone who wants to have their furbaby treated like they are at home. She was so accommodating and sent daily updates. It was the first time we had taken our dog to a sitter so I was understandably nervous. However, Debbie calmed any fears that I had and I know my dog had a great time! Debbie is wonderful!!”

“We are so thankful that we found Caroline to pet sit our boy Wally. A family member was going to be our sitter, but a week before our planned trip they unexpectedly canceled on us. We then found Caroline on Rover, we did a meet and greet soon after and we knew she was the perfect match to watch Wally. We so appreciated the daily photos and updates while we were gone. Wally was so well taken care of that we know without a doubt that we will be reaching out to Caroline the next time we need a sitter for Wally.”

“Gustavo, thanks for taking the time to get to know Taz, welcoming him in your home, and taking great care of him. He was so calm, relaxed, and happy when we picked him up. Your updates and birthday party pics were heartwarming 💕”

“Stacy did wonderful with my 5 month old! He was with her for a whole weekend, She sent pictures and kept me updated with his behavior as much as she could! I am new with this app so I was a little nervous dropping off my pup, but she did so great with him I will defiantly be using her again!”

“Nicole was a great host to our little dog. She send tons of pictures which was great and always gave us updates. She treated our baby like one of her own which is great. Will definitely repeat when needed.”

“Elliott loved his stay with Sierra and Matt. They did an awesome job of caring for him and I know Elliott enjoyed the kids. I got pictures everyday of him. Elliott had such a good time, he didn't want to leave when I came to pick him up. Thanks so much for taking such good care of Elliott.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Emily! ❤️ From the very beginning, I could tell that she genuinely cares about both your baby and her own babies. She took the time to do a meet-and-greet first and carefully introduced Soup to each of her dogs, which made me feel so comfortable leaving him with her. Emily’s dogs are all such sweet babies and very well behaved. 🥰 Soup absolutely LOVED being with them! From all the pictures and updates Emily sent us, we could tell he was having a blast. Honestly, I think he was living his best life there 😂❤️ He had so much fun playing and spending time with his new friends. What I appreciate most about Emily is that she doesn’t just “watch” your dog — she genuinely cares for them like one of her own. She sent us lots of pictures and updates, and seeing how happy and comfortable Soup was gave us so much peace of mind. Emily and her babies were incredibly sweet and loving toward him. We are so happy we found Emily and her sweet babies. ❤️ I would trust her with Soup again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely love and care for their baby. Thank you so much, Emily, for taking such amazing care of Soup and giving him the best little vacation! 🐶🐾❤️”

“Kathryn, she is a very responsible person who take very good care of our both dogs. She will ask you any specific concerns and requirements before your dog boarding. She provide her love and patience to every dog she takes care of. Again, if you looking for somebody to take care of your lovely pet, don’t hesitate to let her know.”

“I hesitate to leave this review only because I want to keep Lorri for myself! She was so good with our dog! Winnie is blind and due to this has separation anxiety when we leave her and a little generalized anxiety in new situations. Within a day, Lorri had her wearing a cute little sweater to keep warm on walls (which Winnie refuses to wear for me), had her cuddling on the couch and even took her for walks in a store! I know Winnie was comfortable with her because she was clearly relaxed in the many photos and videos we got while we were away. Lorri is the best!”

Lindsay and her girls were too notch while watching our dog, Chief! She sent us lots of pictures while he was with them and it felt good seeing him be loved on while we were gone! Chief can be an anxious dog and to know they were snuggling with him and making him comfy felt so good! We will absolutely be using Lindsey again for boarding!

Kelly was amazing with both of my dogs! She sent me lots of photos of them enjoying her back yard and also cuddled up on the couch. I would trust her with Kuri & Kane anytime! Bonus points to her as well because one of my dogs can be grumpy with other dogs at times and Kelly did phenomenal with her.

Laurie took wonderful care of our two little dogs while we were away. They were happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with her. She sent just the right amount of updates, which gave us peace of mind without feeling overwhelming. We wouldn't hesitate to have her watch our dogs again and highly recommend her!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Weldon Spring Heights home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Weldon Spring Heights.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Weldon Spring Heights sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
