Point of story: I will treat your fur baby like it's my own! I work from home as a freelance writer! I have a big apartment that currently has one small dog in it. I thought it would be cool to have more dogs in it! Or to just meet other dogs at their house! I love dogs and that's pretty much it I live in a nice, sub-urby area, and I take my dog Laz on walks through the neighborhood and to the park. I would be happy for your dog to join on those walks! About: I combine reliable, structured care with transparent communication. You will never have to wonder how your best friend is doing—I send frequent photo and video updates throughout the day. Pet care seamlessly blends into my active, flexible lifestyle. I am an avid walker and outdoor enthusiast, so my daily routine naturally includes multiple outdoor excursions. I plan my day around consistent feeding times, routine backyard play, and long, structured neighborhood walks to keep your pet happy and relaxed. I treat your home with the utmost respect while keeping your pet’s daily routine completely unchanged. By staying overnight, I ensure your pet enjoys the comfort of their familiar environment, preventing any separation anxiety and leaving your space as clean as I found it.

About: I have lived my whole life with dogs and I am currently a Dog Mom of 1. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes, including a summer job at a local dog + owner fitness facility and volunteering at stray rescue in STL. My pet is also a rescue, so I have experience working with dogs who need a little extra care and comfort. My main focus is to show your pet some extra love while they are patiently waiting for you to return, and to help you as a dog parent feel at peace, knowing your dog is being well taken care of. I work a full time job, but I do have the ability to work from home when needed and a flexible lunch break. I am mostly free between 7:00-8:30 AM or 6:00-9:00 PM M-F, but I am also available during lunch hours (11:00AM-2:00PM) and weekends upon request. It is important to me that I get to know both you and your pet! I want everyone to feel safe and sound during appointments. For first-time customers: I am available for phone or video calls prior to the booking date, as well as in person meet and greets (when scheduled in advance). Afterwards, we can discuss communication preferences during visits and, if requesting regular care, what days/times you would like to book in the future.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
