About: I understand that leaving your beloved canine companion can be difficult. To ease your mind and ensure your furry friend has a wonderful time while you're away, I offer a personalized care program tailored to their unique personality and needs. My services go beyond simple pet-sitting. I'll get to know your dog's individual habits and preferences – whether they're a spirited adventurer who thrives on long walks and energetic games at the dog park, or a more laid-back pup who enjoys leisurely strolls and quiet playtime. We'll develop a schedule that incorporates engaging activities designed to stimulate their mind and body. This might include: * **Energetic Adventures:** Long walks exploring new trails, exciting visits to dog-friendly parks, or even fun trips in the car to change their scenery. * **Playtime and Enrichment:** Engaging in stimulating play sessions with appropriate toys and games, tailored to your dog's energy level and preferences. * **Gentle Training Reinforcement:** Positive reinforcement training to maintain good manners and strengthen our bond, focusing on building confidence and trust. I've been fostering dogs from a local rescue organization, and it's been an amazing experience. I've met so many dogs – big, small, fluffy, sleek, you name it! And each one is totally unique, with their own quirky personality. They're all so different, but they all have one thing in common: they crave kindness, attention, playtime, and lots and lots of love. It's been incredibly rewarding. My approach is always gentle, patient, and positive. My goal is to keep your dog happy, engaged, and feeling secure in your absence, minimizing any feelings of separation anxiety and ensuring they have a fantastic time while you are away. I'll keep you updated with regular photos and texts so you can rest assured your furry friend is in the best of hands. flexible services. I have availability throughout June, and July, and am happy to work with your schedule to find times that suit your needs. Whether you need occasional daytime care to allow you to run errands, attend appointments, or simply take a break, I'm here to help. My services include engaging playtime, assistance with potty breaks, and of course, ensuring your little one is safe and happy in my care. I'm also available for drop-in visits, offering a convenient solution for short periods of care. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your specific requirements and to arrange a convenient time to chat about scheduling. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Just wanted to let you know that while I love all dogs, I do have some size restrictions for boarding. To make sure I have space for your furry friend, shoot me a message and we can chat about availability! For in-home care, I really believe a dog's own home is their happy place – it's all about feeling safe and secure. I'll make sure your pup has a relaxing time, but we'll also have some fun, keeping in mind what they enjoy and need.

About: I have experience within the past few years living with dogs in college and caring for them when their owners are away. These dogs ranged from large 80lb dogs, to month old puppies. I love all dogs and would love to be trusted with yours! I currently work full-time during the week, but am available in the evening hours and also on weekends. I do not work weekends so weekends are ideal for me! I am attentive, loving, and patient. Whether it’s playing, snuggling, petting, or just being company, I will be whatever your dog needs and more to fulfill their needs and make them happy!

About: My family has a lot of dogs so I’ve had experience caring for a variety of different breeds of them, all ranging in sizes/age! I love animals a lot and would love the opportunity to meet and form a connection with your pet! I currently work part-time so I have my weekdays free in the mornings/afternoons as well as pretty open availability on the weekends. I will continuously update my schedule to reflect availability! I don’t offer services in my own home but when I go to a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and will listen to any instructions you give regarding your pet and home as I am there to do my job!

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and fish. I especially enjoy birds. I had a dove that lived 8 years past the normal lifespan. I work as a school bus driver so I am completely free during the summer. During the school year I am just available on weekends and holidays. I would not mind working for you over winter break. I will take very good care of your home and leave it just as I found it (or maybe better). I take care of pets by prioritizing their needs.

About: Hello👋🏽I’m a passionate dog lover and pet stylist at a doggie daycare, with 6+ years of experience leading playgroups and 3 years as a professional groomer. I’ve developed a deep understanding of dog behavior, body language, and individual needs.🐾 I currently have the sweetest babies, a 12 year old lab and 2 laid back cats. I grew up caring for our rescued beagles from an animal testing facility, which taught me how to support sensitive or nervous pups with patience and compassion. Through daycare and grooming, I’ve worked hands-on with all kinds of breeds, coat types, and personalities. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and help them feel safe, happy, and loved! I also offer nail trims if your pup is comfortable with it.✂️ I also enjoy cleaning in my spare time, so I’d be happy to offer light housekeeping or general tidying if that’s something you’d find helpful.🫧 Pet care fits into my routine really naturally. I work as a groomer and often have shorter days, usually finishing around 2 or 3 PM, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet sitting in the evenings. I’m also available most weekends for drop-ins and walks. Since I already spend my days caring for animals, it feels like a natural extension of what I love to do! I typically pet sit in the owner’s home, where pets feel most comfortable and secure. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely—every pet is different, and I do my best to stick to their usual routine, whether that’s feeding times, walks, play, medications, or just extra snuggles. I’m respectful of your home and treat it with care, just like I do with your pets!

About: I have been dog and cat sitting for over 10yrs. I usually stay at the owners house. Experienced with dogs with medical issues, and high anxiety. I have given medications and have done some training. I have done just overnight stays, but have also done 3month long stays. I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. I am not married and have no children, so I am completely available and focused on your pet. I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.

“Jenna took great care of our cat, Frank! She entertained him with some of her own toys she brought from home and he loved them. She also brought in our trash cans and packages that were delivered while we were gone. It was nice knowing that when we were gone, Frank was in great hands!”

About: Retired engineer and animal lover. High level of empathy and compassion for others. I look forward to taking great care of your animals. Thank you. I am a retired mechanical engineer and I have plenty of free time. I am able to assist for short and long periods of time. I will follow any and all rule you have with your animals. I do not have a fenced yard but would take multiple walks per day.

About: Hi I’m Sophie!! I just graduated from UW and am working in downtown Minneapolis! I’m new to Rover, but experienced with walking/sitting dogs! :) I have a bernadoodle back at my family’s house named Annie and have always loved dogs!! I also play sports and a very active person and walking my dog has always been a way for me to get extra energy out! I miss having a pet around and I’d love to walk your dog or drop by to feed them!! I am free most of the days, ans my job is hybrid! Hope you decide to book with me!! I have a very flexible schedule. I am at home most of the day and can go on walks at any time or drop by as needed. I can walk, feed, let out, or just keep the dog company! I will keep a close watch and make sure the dog is safe and stays out of trouble.

About: Not only have I grown up with large and small dogs I’ve also grown up with multiple cats! Starting from age 13 I was heavily relied on to care for a high medical needs senior dog so I am no stranger to higher needs animals. I am also known to all my neighbors as a secure and reliable house sitter so you know that your home will be safe and well maintained so you can enjoy a stress free break from life I am currently working as a part time nanny and receptionist at a hair salon so I do have alot more free time to stop by for a walk or come to your home after my part time shifts to care for your home or pet until I return to college at the end of summer I make it a priority to maintain your pets daily routine as to not throw off their internal schedules. If the weather allows it I prioritize one long walk of the day (45-60 mins) and a short walk around 20 minutes however this is modified to fit each dog’s individual needs. I want your pet to be as happy as they possibly can be weather that comes from playtime or mental stimulation toys or even relaxed cuddles as soon as I know your pet and their personality our routine will be further devolved.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire adult life. I grew up with dogs and raised three of my own. I was a foster parent for Secondhand Hounds before adopting two of my own rescues. I’ve also raised animal lovers and my daughter is currently attending Cornell to become a veterinarian. I’m an awesome photographer and you’ll likely come away from the experience with some great photos of your furry family member. I currently work full-time, until June, when I am retiring from owning a daycare. Until then, I’m available evenings and weekend. Starting in the summer, I will be wide open for extensive pet sitting. I have a fenced in yard for my dogs, but am familiar with invisible fence dog security and love long dog walks around the neighborhood.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and ever since I became of age I have been a dog sitter for neighbors and family friends because I am a true animal lover. When I go over to let dogs outside, I like to stay with them a little while to make sure they are getting enough attention and care. I walk my dogs as often as I can because dogs deserve to have some fresh air and get outside to stretch. When I walk dogs I take them on a nice brisk walk if they are older, or I’ll go for a light jog if they are puppies. I am really good at caring for dogs based on their needs. I am comfortable with any and all dogs that need pet care.

“Lori did amazing checking in on my baby! Ty! Highly recommend.”

Madyson F.
“We hired Madyson to house sit and watch our dog Milo (Golden) and two cats. Our first booking we were out of the country for an extended period. We had never met in person at the time of our departure but prior to departure I had numerous conversations with Madyson and with each call my confidence only increased in what we were asking her to do in our absence. She did a great job while we were out of town. We are quite cautious with who house/pet sits for us because the trust factor needs to be high and we found with Madyson's updates and check in's we knew she had things well in hand and completely under control. It's much more fun when traveling to know that someone is on top of all things and we couldn't be happier- we now booked her for a second time and the bonus is our pets now know her and trust her too!”

Patricia K.
“Patricia is great with animals, she has 2 dogs of her own and they are nothing short of spoiled. She has even fostered dogs in the past. She has been a child care provider for many years and she knows what it takes to care for kids and animals alike. She’s reliable, kind, patient and caring.”

Delanie C.
“Delanie is very responsible, and always reliable. I would recommend Delanie to any of my family or friends for a dog sitter/walker! I have used Delanie for my own dog plenty of times. My dog loves, loves, love Delanie and is always so excited to see her!”
