About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals! I had plenty as a kid and was always helping family members with them. I take pride in training puppies and young dogs, even though I’m not a professional trainer, I know a few tricks! Pet care is what I do full time, I’m always available and I feel like they can use all the attention and loves when their parents aren’t home! I have a daughter who enjoys being with the fur babies as much as I do! I make sure I am easy going and trusting when approaching a pup that has never met me. They’re just like us! I have experience with the following animals: Bearded Dragons, Cats, Dogs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, and Birds. About: I have had dogs in my home for the last 8+ years. I have had as many as 6 or 7 in my home at one time. I have also had experience with very young puppies. If your dog is not house trained that is not a problem — I am willing to work with them (I also have hardwood floors so cleanup is no issue) I’m currently working full time as a teacher, but am always home on the evenings and on the weekends.I I typically am able to come home at lunch time to check on my own fur babies and would definitely do the same for yours. I have a fenced in backyard with lots of room and two fur babies of my own that can keep your dog company. I treat every animal I come in contact as if they were my own. Being a high school teacher has equipped me with tons of patience; especially for throes fur friends that have a bit of anxiety.

About: Hi! I’m MacKenzie, your pet’s new best friend and part-time squirrel scout. While I might not have a fancy pet-sitting degree, I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, and my own dog (a.k.a. my four-legged child) has taught me plenty—especially about basic training, reactivity, and the art of treating every leaf like it’s a masterpiece. I’m also a pro at giving meds and following care instructions to a T, so your pet’s routine won’t miss a beat. Plus, as an avid hiker, I’m more than happy to take active pups on day hikes for a little extra adventure! I get that every walk is a big deal, every squirrel is a personal nemesis, and if there’s a cat involved, they’re probably running the household. And yes, I’m here for my own steps too, because walking is my therapy! I'm currently in between full-time jobs, so I have ample flexibility for pet care throughout the week—perfect for midday walks, medication administration, or just dropping by to say “hello”! If your pet lives more than 30 minutes from Petersburg, they should be comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours once I return to full-time work. For now, my schedule is wide open, especially on weekends! Routine is important to me, and it’s no doubt important to your pets! My primary goal is always to limit the amount of change, so feeding and potty break times will be strictly adhered to. If there’s valuable training you’ve worked hard to implement, it won’t go to waste! Don’t be shy about letting me know exactly which cues and commands to use, and any other little personality quirks I should know about.

I have to start with how I remember my first experiences with dogs and cats, and that began from my earliest of memories as I was raised by a mother who worked in a kennel and owned her own grooming business. Because of this, I am well versed in proper animal care, taking this on in my own way now through Rover and word of mouth. We always had animals coming by and we were constantly learning about new breeds and how cats and dogs have their own personalities and that we are to respect as if they were children or seniors. About: I keep my eyes on pets and I allow them the illusion of freedom in the back yard (on camera). Helps them to feel independent. (Due to their nature I'm unable to board Yorkies (Yorkshire Terriers) and Morkies. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding.) I'm at the house almost all day, and I can secure the pet in a cage when I need to run out to run errands. I monitor the pet closely and I walk them at potty time and play catch or tag of war with them in the back yard.

About: I have a few dogs at my house already but I've also been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I used to volunteer at rescues. My family also has many pets and farm animals I help take care of these include fish, hamsters, and budgies. I'm currently in college right now studying life science but I have plenty of free time. During that time I'd like to take care of animals. I like to take care of your pets however you like them taken care of. I'll wake up early for morning walks or stay up late to clean up after them.

About: I've been taking care of my husky for about 2 and a 1/2 years now and my parents have 2 chihuahuas that I've been taking care of for about 6 years now. I bathe them walk them love on them. I've trained my husky I've gotten. Him to do a few trick mainly the basics but I know how to train dogs with basic tricks. I'm currently working on my dad shop all week. So I'm not available during the week only the weekends but during that time your dogs will love me. I do not have a fenced in yard. But I have a 5 acre yard and woods with trails. If we decide, we want to go hiking. I have plenty of toys. Plenty of treats. I have a cage if it needed. I have 2 Chihuahuass and a husky my husky can be a little skittish with people and dogs at first but he comes around after a while. At your home I would be very safe to protect. E and your dog/dogs.
