About: I promise to keep your fur baby safe and happy as can be while you're away. I will provide playtime, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention. I am very interactive and not afraid to be goofy in order to make a genuine connection with your pet. Don't be afraid to leave me detailed instructions- I get it and have fur and feathered babies of my own! I am able to walk up to 2 to 3 big dogs at a time and feel confident in my abilities to give commands and appropriate rewards/disciplines. If your pet(s) gets dirty, I will bathe them as well as clean up any messes that occur. I also will keep your home sweet home neat and tidy so you never come home to a mess. I have grown up with pets and have always owned one or two.. okay, maybe 3 at a time. I make genuine connections with animals (wild ones, too) and would love to give them the opportunity to get outside all season long (even in the winter). About: Hi, my name is Sam and I have over 10 years of experience pet sitting! I mostly pet sit for dogs and cats of many backgrounds - fostered kittens and retired race greyhounds, energetic dogs to elderly dogs and cats. I have experience administering medications and shots for diabetic dogs. I worked seasonly on a farm for 4 years in Vermont and I fed/cared for chickens and alpacas on the field. I also have experience caring for reptiles - I had a gecko and amphibians for 17 years. I am a teacher, so my summers are pretty flexible. My school year starts the end of August, so my availability by then will be open after 3:30pm Monday-Friday. On weekends, I am more flexible about timing. I am a big outdoor enthusiast - mountain biker, skier, hiker. If you need a dog walker or sitter, I would love for your dog to come join in on the fun! I can walk your pet outside in the neighborhood if you just need a drop in. If you have a routine for your pet/s, I am happy to stick with that to help them feel comfortable and at home. If you need help with overnights, I am happy to discuss the length of days needed. I will send photos and videos while you are away!
