About: I am an organized and observant pet caretaker, at home I have two happy black cats and a thriving freshwater african dwarf frog tank. I'm experienced in administering medicine to cats, and enjoy working with fish and birds too! I work full time in Montpelier, and would prefer to recieve requests 1-2 weeks in advance to provide the best care possible. I'm currently available for morning and evening drop in visits. I have two indoor catsand believe a happy cat is key to a home. My litter box philosophy is the more the better, and I will scoop 1-2 times a day and clean the surrounding area.
About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that. I cannot house pets in my current apartment, but I will follow the guidance and knowledge of the owners in their homes and while on walks.

“Alexandra was absolutely wonderful with Joey. We couldn't have found a better person to drop in on him whilst we were out for the day. She even took the time to meet him the night before, and was very patient and sweet as he was rather nervous of her to start. However by the end of the drop in, Joey was well and truly smitten with Alexandra. She was so friendly, and super communicative. Would very highly recommend. It's just a shame we don't live closer so we could have Alexandra come look after Joey more!!”

About: I have been around dogs as long as I can remember. I have been the go-to for friends & family when they are traveling, don’t have time to exercise their pup, or just need someone to check in on their animal(s). I am comfortable giving all types of medications & taking care of any special needs or requests. I have trained both of my dogs from the ground up & it is always a work in progress. I always enjoy meeting your furry family members & love getting to know each & everyone I cross paths with. I work at a local animal hospital (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday’s as a vet tech), but I do have most Wednesday’s available & some weekends available if planned in advance. I have a large yard and two furry boys to help keep yours feeling comfortable & safe. I have a lot of toys & entertainment, I can also crate your dog if needed.
“Wendy was a great sitter for our puppy while we were skiing in Stowe! She met us before the visit to meet our pup and then she came each day to check in on him at our house rental. We couldn’t be more pleased with how sweet and accommodating she was. Every day when we came home our pup seemed happy and we could tell she spent some great quality time with him. About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

I have a large car to bring 1 or multiple dogs out for adventures. With permission, I may spoil them. Worked as a vet tech assistant for 3 years. Rasied many dogs from puppies and am familiar with positive reinforcement training, crate training, and clicker training. Experienced with dogs that are people and/or dog shy and know how to handle the situation. I do not believe in such a thing as naturally aggressive dogs. Everyone has their own personality and experiences, so do animals. I'm currently working full time 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Friday in Burlington near Redrocks. I can do walks or check-in's before and after work for locations near my home or office. I'm available on the weekends for longer periods. I am happy to come to your home or office. I am available to care for your dog or cat in your home and can stay for extended periods within a 1-hour driving distance of Burlington. I love being active so am happy to take them hiking, running, or out for a gentle walk. I am unable to care for pets at my home.
