I frequently dog and house sit for family and friends, and look forward to doing the same for you. I currently have open availability to dedicate to taking care of your pups. I am happy to check in on them, take them for walks, make sure they are fed, provide overnight pet sitting (at your home). I had a pup of my own for fourteen years, but don’t have one at the moment. I look forward to the opportunity! I am available to walk, feed, and pet sit at your home. Long walks for exercise, spending time to be sure they are comfortable, whatever is required. I unfortunately do not have boarding at my home as the building I’ve lived in for nearly twenty years is designated a “historical landmark” and pets are prohibited.

About: I had a dog (pitbull mix) that passed at 14 years old last year and I often took care of my aunt’s dog (redhound mix) that lived until she was 16, so I can handle senior care for dogs. I have lived with cats in the past and have experience cat sitting as well. I have a flexible schedule in the summertime and have a job outdoors that I can take dogs to, though they would just have to get along with other dogs if I bring them to work. My home is just as welcome to pets as it is to humans. I have a large shared (unfenced) yard space and love taking dogs on (leashed!) walks around my neighborhood and surrounding mountains/natural areas. I have 3 years experience cat sitting as well.

About: I love dogs! I grew up with a little black poodle named Cherry who is 18 years old now and is featured here! I have been a dog walker for my neighbors whenever they needed in the past. Very comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I am a full time physical therapist/strength train consistently, so very comfortable handling bigger girls and boys. Please contact me if your dog needs a walk or you need to leave your furry friend with me while you go on vacation! I often start late or end early so can be quite flexible depending on your needs. About: My experience taking care of dogs goes back to my childhood. When I was 8 we got a new puppy and from that moment on I have been obsessed. From taking care of newborn puppies and experiencing the birthing process to helping my senior dogs find comfort in their final days, I have seen it all. I learned a lot of what I know from firsthand experience but also from reading many books of dog behavior and from being taught training techniques from a close family friend and dog trainer. Nothing makes me happier than a dog and nothing makes my dog happier than being with other dogs! I hope to ease the stress that can come from managing life and wanting the best for your pup by providing a safe space for them to have fun! I am currently a student at University and my schedule takes me away from the home for 6 hours a day 5 days a week. I am always providing enrichment activities for my dog while I am away from the house and we go on a long walk when I return. I have a big yard that is partially wooded for the dogs to play around in, whether your dog is good off leash or not. I have a run for my dog that he stays on when outside in the yard but he usually sticks with me so he’s not always attached. In the home are multiple dog beds and comfy places for the pups to rest after a long day. There is always access to water, inside and out. My dog is very easy going so we are willing to be adaptable on a pet to pet basis.

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was about 11 years old — it started with neighbors, family friends, and anyone who needed a hand, and it quickly became something I truly love. Being around dogs has always come naturally to me. I’m patient, calm, playful, and super intuitive with animals, especially dogs of all kinds. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while their people are away. Over the years, I’ve built real trust with the people I’ve worked with. They know their dogs are in good hands with me — whether it’s for a quick walk or a whole weekend. I’ve looked after energetic puppies, shy rescues, older dogs needing meds, and everything in between. This isn’t just something I do — it’s something I genuinely care about. I currently go to barber school from 8:30-5 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If you need a little check in or letting your dog out after that on those days I would definitely do that! Other than that I am open 6-11pm on every other day unless I have something else going on. If you ever need to know just always reach out if needed! I live in an apartment complex but I usually let me dogs free inside and if they need it I usually bring them to the dog park to get all that playfulness out. I am very attentive so your dog will never be left alone! I have 2 dogs medium size and one likes to relax while the other loves to play but she knows her limits, if the other dog does not like it she does stop.

About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.
