About: Hi, I’m Alexys! I’ve been around animals all my life. All different sorts of animals, breeds, and sizes. Even taking part in caring for animals from a young age. I enjoy nothing more than being around and caring for pets. I’m currently attending school online, so my schedule is flexible. I can check in on pets multiple times a day, or longer periods of time. I'm thorough, quick to learn, and have a calm presence that pets are very responsive to. My mom is a vet tech so I've had plenty of foster babies both young and old, healthy or not so much, this means I'm not afraid of any extenuating circumstances you may have with your pets. Oral medications, topicals and even injections are no problem. I'm happy to be there for your extra special pet. Though I work remotely full-time your pets will always be my first priority and I will discuss any scheduling issues in advance so there are no stressful surprises for you on your trip. I have pets of my own so I'm capable of bringing just about any supply or tool that might be needed. While I would prefer not to stay in a clients home full-time I would be willing to make arrangements for pets that need it as I have a disabled pet of my own and understand the need for more thorough attention to these animals. In my home, I'm capable of housing a free roaming dog that is friendly with other animals (cats and dogs) or a dog that requires some light crating. I have a full sized dog crate in my home for my dog when he needs it and a couple more in storage as well as an outdoor kennel and two decently-sized fenced yards.

About: I have had pets since I was a little girl. I had a dog while in Peace Corps and took excellent care of her (we even dressed up together for Halloween!). Sadly I had to leave her behind when I left and I travel a lot for work and so am not able to have my own pup full time. I also cat sat for my roommates while in Colorado for over a year, and I can say that their cats were my favorite co-workers! I would love to take care of your dog (or cat!) to get some much needed puppy/kitty snuggles!
