“Emily took great care of our Westley. She sent me multiple updates and pictures every day which I really appreciated. My dog looked happy and relaxed when she was at our place.”

“Taryn did a wonderful job staying with my dog Henry. She sent pictures and communicated with me often of which I like. She was very patient with him as he sometimes can bark a little too much. She was caring and left my home tidy which is important to me. I would not hesitate to have her come sit with Henry again.”

“Lulu was amazing! She gave us daily updates and pics of our animals and took excellent care of them. I felt very good about leaving them in her care. She will 100% be our first choice next time we need pet care!”

“Erin is wonderful! She house and dog sat for two weeks. Trustworthy and loving to our two dogs and send photos of them every day. Outstanding communicator. Will use again and again!”

“Gave updates, took very good care of my dogs. Even when i was sick & unresponsive for a few days, she still gave updates and kept me in the know. I appreciate all the help & care she gave my boys! Super happy.”

“This was our first time using rover and Lori made it a great experience for us. Our dogs loved her and she took a lot of pictures and anytime I checked in she responded right away! Will definitely rebook her again!”
“I highly recommend Rachel! This was my first time using Rover and I was trepidatious having someone I don't know stay in our home and with our pup for 12 nights. We had a meet and greet and our pup took to Rachel immediately. We got regular updates with photos (suggestion - with any sitter set clear expectations up front to set both parties up for success). It was clear our pup was happy and thriving with Rachel. When we came home, I was pleased to see Rachel had tidied up, emptied trash, put her linens in the laundry room, etc. If we need a sitter again, Rachel would be my first choice.”

“Julia took excellent care of our girl. We made a last minute request for Julia to extend her stay and she was kind enough to accommodate. I would definitely recommend Julia for your pet sitting needs.”

“Reed was very professional and kind. He visited with us 2x before the scheduled dates for our trip. During our trip he kept us informed on our pups and sent pictures daily. He left our home just as it was when he arrived. We were very happy with his service and will be rebooking with him for future dates.”

“3rd time sitting for us and Zoey was familiar with him upon arrival. Lots of pictures which are appreciated. House was cleaned and sheets were washed and bed was remade. Highly recommend and look forward to using Randy again!”

“Maryn did an amazing job taking care of my 2 dogs. When we returned the dogs were happy and the house was clean and neat. She is very responsive when you contact her. Great job!”

About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I currently work 9-5 Monday through Friday. I can provide morning and afternoon care visits as well as overnight care when needed. Morning visits would be early morning around 7am for breakfast and afternoon visits anywhere from 6-8pm for play time and dinner. Weekends I am available all day. I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut.
“Rachel did an amazing job with our dogs. We were able to enjoy our vacation, knowing she was taking such good care of them. We got daily updates, with pictures. She gladly brought in mail and watered plants for us. She is very accommodating and fit us in to her schedule. She was able to pop in for 3 afternoons visits before her time here started when our son wasn’t able to get here during the day to let them out. We will definitely be calling her for future jobs! She’s a gem!!”

“Emma did me a great service and booked an overnight stay with my pup very last minute when my original sitter backed out. Emma took my pup on a drive and took great care of her. She also sent updates and pictures throughout the night while I was at work, which was greatly appreciated! Would book again!”

“Abby did a great job taking care of our 2cats and 2 dogs. She really went above and beyond. She left the home in excellent condition, and even washed the sheets and towels! She got our mail and packages for us while we were gone and took out our trash for us. Communication was excellent and we received pics of our fur babies during our trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“Kristin was very responsive and helpful. Our dog while very sweet can occasionally be particular with the new people she meets (as a rescue pup) Kristin was extremely professional and reassured both us and Daisy and made for a great experience. Thank you!”

“Pamela was great! She was responsive via text and left the house in perfect shape. We felt reassured knowing our pups were in good hands while we were away for a whole week!”

“Casey took care of our home and menagerie of pets while we were away. He kept in touch about how everyone was doing and the house was just as we left it upon our return. We have an older dog who suffered an back injury in December, so we were worried about leaving her. Meeting Casey before our trip, and his texts during the trip put our minds at ease as we knew she was being well cared for. Highly recommend Casey for dogs and cats alike!”

Ward Parkway pet parents share their Rover experiences
I had the absolute best experience with Courtney & Sara. They stayed in my home for 10 days caring for my dog, Hero, and treated him like he was their own. Hero is an 11-year-old Weimaraner who can be pretty anxious and set in his routine, so leaving him is never easy for me. But from the very first meeting, I felt completely comfortable—and that peace of mind continued the entire time I was away. Courtney & Sara were incredibly reliable, communicative, and thoughtful in every way. They kept Hero on his normal routine, managed his special diet, and went above and beyond to make sure he felt safe and loved. They even brought him along on errands (including trips to the gym!) and sent me frequent updates and photos, which meant so much. One of my favorite touches—they got him a new ball that he absolutely loves! When I came home, Hero was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. The biggest sign of all? When Courtney & Sara stopped by again to puck up a cpl things, he was SO excited to see them. Hero is my world, and trusting someone with him is a big deal. These sitters made it effortless—I truly didn’t worry at all while I was away. I would rebook with them in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone looking for people who will care for your dog like family.

Diedre took good care of our dog and cat over Spring Break while we were away. She kept in touch just enough so we know all was well. She genuinely loves pets and is an experienced pet carer. She went above and beyond by keeping our house very clean and tidy while she stayed there.

Lori was so wonderful with our dogs. Our little guy in particular has a hard time meeting new people and Lori came up with a fantastic plan to make our pup feel more comfortable. We received so many sweet pictures while we were away. We would recommend Lori to anyone!!

We've used Mirette twice now to house-sit/dog-sit our older Westie, and she did a great job! She was great at communicating with us and was at the house the vast majority of the time with our dog, which we loved! The house was clean when we got home and we had no issues! We would recommend Mirette, and would definitely use her again the next time we travel!

I recently had to go out of town for an extended business trip. Amber is always excellent with my dog start to finish! I get regular updates and photos and I can tell he was comfortable and well taken care of when I returned. I am always worried about my dog. Some might even call me a helicopter dog parent. But I find my mind more at ease when Amber watches my dog. I cannot express how thankful I am for her services and commitment to the health and happiness of my dog. Thank you, Amber!!

Aaliyah did wonderful with my older pittie when needing someone to watch her last minute. She was reliably on time for visits and took her on plenty of walks. She came by before to meet her and get to know the house. She provided timely updates and responses. Will definitely use Aaliyah again!
