“Alex was amazing - very professional! He was very attentive to our wishes and instructions, excellent communicator, punctual and all the things you would expect from hiring a pro. The house was left clean and he genuinely seems to care for our pets and enjoy their company. Got photos every day and followed our complicated medication schedule. The dogs seemed happy and healthy when we returned! We HIGHLY recommend!”

About: I am recently retired from a 27 year career with adults with disabilities on a 500 acre farm. I have owned 3 dogs and 1 cat as an adult and lived with dogs throughout my childhood. I would love to come care for your pet(s) in their own home while you are away or on vacation. I prefer medium or small sized dogs and a cat or two. I am discreet, clean and responsible. If preferred, I could also just drop in for a visit of feeding, playing with or letting out for toileting. I live in Richmond and would drive up to 20 miles to provide this service. I can provide character references as well as house/dog sitting refernces. I won't let you down! I am currently retired and have flexible availability.i am.able to sleep.over at your home or make daily visits. I travel a few weeks each month but am available quite often. I can come and care for your dogs or cats in their own home. I can sleep over or come a few times in the day, whichever works well for you and your pet(s). I could also just walk your dog about 3 times a day, depending on how far you are from my Manchester neighborhood.

“Celeste was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter. She was communicative, thoughtful, and consistently kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear she genuinely cared about my dog, and seeing how happy and comfortable my dog was in her presence meant everything to me. I could tell my dog felt safe, loved, and well cared for the entire time. I would absolutely trust Celeste again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Victor did great sitting for Ellie, kept her company all day, listened to her needs, gave her food and her medicine. Would absolutely book him again in the future!”

“Dawn was great with our 2 rambunctious doodles. She sent pics and updates regularly. Took them for numerous walks including a 5 mile walk at Pocahontas State Park! She also took great care of our house. We would definitely use her again!”

“We had an amazing experience with Allyson! From the start, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly cared about our two dogs' well-being. Both pups were so well taken care of, and we loved receiving updates and pictures while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. We’ll definitely be booking with Allyson again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Erica was wonderful, and we cannot thank her enough for staying with our pups. From the first meeting, both of our dogs were excited to see her and felt comfortable around her. While we were gone, Erica sent us pictures and updates. We knew they were in good hands, and were able to enjoy our few days away. Our home and our pups were well taken care of!”

About: I’ve taken care of fur babies since I was 10. I had my own two dogs growing up and two cats that I was entrusted with their care including litter box cleanings, walks for the pups and feeding. I’m currently available for boarding on the weekends and over Christmas break. I can also be flexible for in between weekends if I know ahead of time. I have a fenced in yard complete with a line that runs between the fences (50 feet total). I also have a 7 year old mellow hound mix to keep your dog company.

“Zander did a great job taking care of our dog and bringing in the mail. He was great about adjusting walk times to deal with very high outdoor temperatures and playing with our dog inside to make sure he got enough exercise. He sent lots of photos and notes. He was great with communicating. Our dog was healthy and happy when we returned after a week's vacation. Highly recommend!”
“Can’t say enough good things about Christine! Very accommodating, thoughtful and was ultra committed to my dog’s wellbeing. Even went out of her way for Del to be more comfortable, and for me to feel at ease. Easily a 10/10 sitter. Will def book again!”

Walmsley pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bee was taking care of our pup for a week in our place and we have only nice things to say. She felt comfortable giving Kaan his daily medicine and updated us with cute pictures of them snuggling and walking. We knew our pup was in great hands and she left our place spotless as well. We highly recommend Bee and are so happy that we found her. Thank you 🙏🏻

Kim went above and beyond in watching our dog while we were away. Her care and communication were excellent, and we enjoyed the pictures and text updates that she sent. Our house was also spotless when we arrived back, and our dog was happy and healthy. Kim even left some sweet surprises for us when we returned, and took the time to meet our dog twice before watching her for the first time. We would recommend Kim for petsitting to anyone, including our family and friends. She is a special person!

Joy was amazing!! She stayed with our dog for 7 days. Our dog can be a lot to handle and she did it perfectly. I received an update and cute photo each day. She was very tidy, organized, and most of all- trustworthy! The list of compliments to give her is endless. Forrest is a very active dog with some anxiety. He usually doesn’t do well on a leash, but Joy was able to walk him with some slack on the leash. That’s a huge milestone for our dog. I know he loved every minute of it. While Forrest was very excited to see me, he kept checking to see if Joy was coming back. He definitely misses her. Joy will always be the first person I reach out to when we need someone to take care of Forrest!
