About: We are lovers of all animals. We've always had a least one dog. We have experience with feeding, medications, and exercising, whether it's with a puppy or a senior dog. Love to give snuggles and have play time. We will have a wonderful time together! My son will be helping to make a little extra money over the summer before college. We call him the animal whisperer! Animals love him and he loves them. I currently work full time, but set my own hours because I am self-employed. My teenage son is looking to help me during summer break. We are able to do drop in visits for potty breaks, feedings, walks, etc.! I will care for your pets during visits exactly how you care for them. Leave me directions and I will be sure to follow. Will be mindful of safety and care for them like they are mine!

“We had trouble finding the right person who could match our dogs energy and handle their size. Lauren INSTANTLY set our minds at ease. Had her over to take Cosmo and Buddy out back for some fetch, and she handled the dogs with no problem. She gives them her undivided attention when she is with them. We were used to other dog sitters just letting them out back and letting them back in when they were ready. Lauren actually goes out and plays with them and keeps them running around. Even though we did not request it, when she goes out with them on rainy days, she brings towels and wipes to wipe them down before letting them inside. Our dogs love Lauren visits and so do we.”

About: I have experience with dogs and cats(as well as various other animals) of all sizes, ages, energy levels, and temperaments. I'm patient and excellent at getting the trust of nervous pets. I have worked with multiple nonprofits as a foster, kennel tech, and even as a wildlife rehabilitator for a couple years. I love animals of all kinds and am also well versed in administering medications and have experience with dog training. I'm happy to provide some basic training as well. I work two part time jobs currently and do sometimes have long days, but there are also many days I only work 3-4 hours. It varies quite a bit. I always check on how long your pet can handle being alone and will not accept a booking if my schedule will not allow me to meet your pet's needs. If booked far enough in advance I can also adjust my work schedule to ensure I will be able to provide lots of attention and potty breaks! I am great with adapting my approach to your pet's care based on their individual needs. Every pet is different and will have their own needs and preferences. I look forward to learning your pet's personality and promise to provide them with the best personalized care possible.
