“McKeznie was great with Scarlett! She was very attentive during our meet & greet and seemed to care about keeping our pup comfortable. Scarlett seemed to have a great time!”

“I’m very satisfied with the job Makala did with my cats and house during her stay. Both cats were very well cared for. Spooky may have even gained a little weight and Camo seems less jumpy and wants more pets. I would definitely call on Makala again when I get another chance to travel. I hope the arrangement worked out well for her also and I wish her all the luck in the world with her new business.”

“The current week’s sitter was sick and Jasmine came to the rescue. We found her very last minute and are grateful at how amazing she is taking care of our dogs. We look forward to booking her again.”

About: Hi there! My name is Marissa, and I am hoping to become a trusted caretaker for you & your fur family within the Gainesville community. My whole life, my family has always had a house full of animals- from dogs and cats to lizards, birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Now, as an adult, I have 3 dogs and 3 cats, all with extremely unique and different personalities. I spent 6 years volunteering at my local humane society and have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for all sizes and breeds of dogs! I am very comfortable with any breed of dog and I am also very respectful of cats, I am keen on pets cues for boundaries. I understand all pets are different and I’d be honored to help you and your fur family in your time of need, while on vacation, etc. I’ve used rover in the past as a customer and have had good experiences with the app. I am new to this area but if you give me a chance I promise to take the best care of your pets while building trust in this community. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you! I have open availability at the moment as I am self employed. I’m willing to work my schedule around your schedule! I have no problem waking up very early or stopping by very late and any time in between. I am open to over night stays as well. Every pet is unique and different in their own way. I have had a lot of experience with my own pets and my time volunteering at the humane society - I understand some dogs try to run out every chance they get or some dogs are food aggressive. I typically like to know your routine, with detailed notes/stopping by and introducing myself so you can show me how to properly care for your pet(s) while you are away. Trust is important and I know it can be scary using an app for pet care. Our pets are our family and I hope to start building a reliable reputation within this community.

My schedule is very flexible, and I believe in the concept that I should leave things as I found them. About: I have been working with animals for about 3 or 4 years now. I started out as a volunteer at an animal shelter and ever since then I haven’t stopped working with animals. I’ve worked at daycares and am currently working as a groomer. I take great pride in the care I provide for these animals as I truly do believe that they are more than just pets. I believe that they are an extension of ourselves and deserve the utmost respect, love, and care. If requested, I can bathe your pups as well as practice any training that is needed. Thank you for reading! I am a full time groomer from Wednesday-Saturday but I am available aftter from 6-10. Other wise I am available Sunday-Tuesday for anything you desire. Wether it be walking, a quick feeding, or just night time petsitting for those pet parents who need a night out, I am here! I will follow every instruction down to a T for the safety and well being of your pup. My main priority is their safety and health. Wether it be crating, special enrichment challenges, or consistent play and exercise, I’ve got your back. My most previous clients were amazed at how well taken care of and happy their two pups were and were stunned that I did more than just the bare minimum of what they had asked. I am very serious about and take great pride in animal care.

“Lize was amazing and so good with my pups. She was punctual, kind, and kept me well informed of how things were going. I highly recommend her!”

“Chloe was an amazing sitter!! Our 7 month old, wild puppy, Eevee, normally is stand offish towards people but she immediately took to Chloe. Eevee really enjoyed her time with Chloe. She had asked us all the questions about Eevee before we booked then asked more when she arrived to our house. She stayed with Eevee the entire time we were gone and even took the cutest pictures of our girl! She took Eevee for walks and played with her and spent her time with Eevee the entire time. We are definitely booking with her again for days out of the house again!!”

Amy sent us text messages regarding Ellie's status. Amy stayed in our home and took great care for our home and Ellie. We will definitely use Amy's services again and I highly recommend her if you want a mature, responsible, loving sitter for your pet!”

“Lamaris always does a wonderful job with the pups. They are so well cared for and happy when I return from vacation! He’s also very good at keeping the house clean and organized, and goes above and beyond by taking out the trash and reaching out with questions when needed.”

“He was great! Very communicative all weekend.”

“Richard was fabulous!! I have two seniors who are getting to the stage where they’re arthritic, not eager eaters, and sometimes grumpy. It can be so nerve wracking to leave them in someone else’s care, but Richard was amazing with them! He sent frequent and detailed updates and gave me such peace of mind knowing my girls were well cared for. We will definitely be booking with Richard in the future!”

“We booked Delia for a few days to house sit our 3 dogs. This was our first time utilizing rover, before we go on a longer trip at the end of the year. She popped in several times to let our dogs out and communicated well when she would be returning late. Came back to a respected home and happy dogs.”
