We also did a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure our dogs got along, which I really appreciated. It seemed like my dog got lots of playtime with their dog during her stay. I knew beforehand that their dog might tear up soft toys, so we only brought toys we were okay with parting with. However, one of my dog's hard toys and her food bowl also ended up getting chewed, which is not something my dog usually does. Just keep in mind if you bring any toys or food items that their dog may have access to, they may get chewed on.”

About: An avid animal lover! I grew up with dogs. They loved me just as much as I loved them. My grandparents always had dogs since the time I was born. Their favorite one: German Rottweiler. They are beautiful dogs and so protective. I always helped my grandparents all the time with the dogs. We would have 6 or more dogs in the household all at once, so I have experience with having multiple dogs at once. Additionally, I can teach them tricks such as giving paw, sitting, laying, etc. I have experience from puppies to senior dogs as I know they required different type of care. I'll treat them like they are my own. I currently work full time during the weekdays, but I'm available after 6pm on the weekdays and all day availability on the weekends. However, I may modify or shorten the visit if continuing would increase stress or create a risk of injury. This is never done as punishment. It is a safety decision intended to prevent escalation and protect everyone involved. Any significant concerns will be clearly documented and communicated to you. 🛏️ Crate or confinement requirement for boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable resting safely in a crate, exercise pen, gated room, or behind another secure household barrier. This is a firm boarding requirement. At night, during meals when separation is needed, and anytime dogs cannot be directly supervised, boarding guests will be safely confined. This gives every animal appropriate space to rest and ensures all pets remain secure while I am sleeping, showering, completing household tasks, or briefly away from home. Crates and gated spaces are always used as calm, neutral resting areas, never as punishment. If your dog normally uses a crate, pen, gated room, or another confinement routine at home, please share the details with me so I can keep their stay as familiar and low-stress as possible. Dogs do not need to love being crated, but they must be able to tolerate safe confinement without panicking, attempting to escape, or injuring themselves. If your dog is not currently comfortable with any form of secure separation, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. In that case, drop-in care in their own home may be a safer and more comfortable alternative. This is non-negotiable.

About: I have grown up with many pets so I am used to being around all kinds of animal. My first pet was a Great Dane and my most recent a chihuahua mix so I know how to take care of any sized animal. I’ve had much experience with caring for dogs as I volunteer at the Humane Society of North Central Florida while attending UF. About: I have taken care of all types of animals ranging from dogs to chickens, as well as birds and horses, and have grown up with cats all my life. The dog breeds I have cared for in my work experience have been pitbulls, standard poodles, lab/hound mixes, golden retrievers, chow mixes, chihuahuas, etc. I am currently taking a year off from working as a full-time elementary teacher, so my availability has become much more flexible in regards to accommodating future clients' schedules. As a courtesy, however, a 1 week in advance notice is always preferred, so that way I may plan accordingly!😁 I would prefer to fur-babysit at my client's home just because it is where they are most familiar, and I want them to be comfortable. About: I have loved pets all my life, but decided to do this full time after I retired. I am free most weekends if you need to get away and feel like your fur babies are in safe hands. I am retired an can watch your fur babies during the week or weekends. You can leave your babies and know they are in loving hands. About: Biggest dog lover! Grown up with dogs my entire life, I currently own a senior yellow lab named Copper 🩵 he’s my best friend! Very experienced in lots of different breeds and temperaments. I knew beforehand that their dog might tear up soft toys, so we only brought toys we were okay with parting with. However, one of my dog's hard toys and her food bowl also ended up getting chewed, which is not something my dog usually does. Just keep in mind if you bring any toys or food items that their dog may have access to, they may get chewed on.”

About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. I also take an interest in dog training. I’m not a licensed trainer, but I enjoy teaching dogs manners and tricks. I have availability on Friday-Sunday. I’m very organized and plan my schedule carefully to ensure every pet receives the time, care, and consistency they deserve. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with other dog neighbors. There’s a lot of grass surrounding the complex. While at work, I prefer letting dogs roam unless they need to be in a crate.

The photos and videos Will sent clearly showed how relaxed my cat was during her stay (which is not usually the case when boarded) and that they made her feel at home.
