About: I have always been around animals since I was little varying from small dogs to big dogs and to cats. I’ve always done my best to care and love each of those animals so they feel loved and cared for. I’m currently in cosmetology school part time and working but depending on how this goes I would love to do this more I attend school tue-Thursday 4pm-7:30pm and Saturday 9:30am-5:00pm but I would love to squeeze in anything available! I treat them as my own so I will love them and take care of them 1000% as I would my own as every animal deserves the best care and love to make them feel comfortable especially when their best friend(s) or parents are away or just need a little potty break.

About: I have been a dog owner for the majority of my life and have provided reliable care to my friends’ pets for about 5 years. I have experience caring for puppies as well as multiple animals at once. I am a student at the University of Florida, but I have a mostly open schedule. I’m available all day on weekends, every weekday morning before 10 AM, after 11:30 AM every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and after 5 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I plan to maintain a safe environment for any animal, and I will cater the experience to each pet and their individual needs. It is important to me that your pet feels as comfortable as possible, whether that be in your home or mine. I will care for your pet according to your desired schedule to ensure they experience care and consistency even when away from their loving owner.

About: An avid animal lover! I grew up with dogs. They loved me just as much as I loved them. My grandparents always had dogs since the time I was born. Their favorite one: German Rottweiler. They are beautiful dogs and so protective. I always helped my grandparents all the time with the dogs. We would have 6 or more dogs in the household all at once, so I have experience with having multiple dogs at once. Additionally, I can teach them tricks such as giving paw, sitting, laying, etc. I have experience from puppies to senior dogs as I know they required different type of care. I'll treat them like they are my own. I currently work full time during the weekdays, but I'm available after 6pm on the weekdays and all day availability on the weekends. I'll be able to provide the care they require. I don't have any dogs at home. However, I do have kids, so I understand the safety and how important it is to have a safe environment. However, currently not offering services to have dogs at my home at this time.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is truly my passion. I’ve been working with animals since I was a little girl, and one of my very first jobs was at a local pet shop called Aquarium Connection. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with all kinds of animals — from dogs and cats to reptiles, birds, and exotic pets. I personally own several reptiles myself, so I’m very comfortable caring for reptiles and birds in addition to traditional pets. I’m not afraid to get messy, handle shy or nervous animals, or care for pets with disabilities or medical needs. I’m experienced with giving medications and making sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Animals have always shown me unconditional love and comfort throughout my life, and being able to give that same care back to them means everything to me. I’m currently available 24 seven 365. I am looking to make my passion for animals into a full-time job Caring for my animals and others, is my upmost priority. I have a full time job at mederi private care as an hha but its a very flexible schedule and i will be able to do overnights and days I would treat everyones pets as if they were mine and with a great attitude giving them frequent walks and even letting them have their zoomy time

About: I have been taking care of dogs for about six years now, I started helping my sister when she originally joined Rover. It got to the point where we had our regulars and their dogs became family to us! Long story short, she moved and I still have a few regulars, but I have some extra time on my hands because of my school schedule and am excited to meet some new pets :) I am currently a student at UF (last semester woohoo!) and have classes Tuesdays-Thursdays. About: My entire life I’ve lived and cared for dogs in all shapes in sizes. From stubby Corgis to big, fluffy Bernese mountain dogs, or my wonderful pack of Australian cattle dogs back home. I was the one largely responsible for the care of my family’s elderly Berner, Diogi (pronounced D-O-G) in his final years of life. I’ve fostered and raised several new born puppies of varying temperament and seen them off to loving families, but I’m most proud of the unbreakable bond I’ve formed with who I would call my “soul-dog”, Winnie, my red Australian cattle dog whom I love more dearly than anything. Unfortunately she had to stay behind when I moved to Gainesville for college, but I get to see her often enough. I work on the side in retail as well as attend school full time. Despite this, my schedule is flexible and I have days throughout the week I am 100% free for anything. My regular school days see me out before 1PM. When I do work, I typically go in early afternoon (~2PM) and leave around 8-10PM. I live in an apartment complex which has several grassy areas to use the bathroom and get some sniffs in.. Nearby there are several nature trails as well as quite a few dog parks within walking distance. I do own a car which I am willing to use to drive to other locations for longer walks/new environments.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have plenty of hands-on experience from caring for my own dog, who is about 100 pounds! Having a large dog has made me very comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also trained her myself, so I have experience with basic commands, routines, leash walking, and being patient and consistent. I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pet, so I’ll always make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and love. I’ll treat every pet I care for like they’re my own! Pet care fits really well into my daily routine, and I have a pretty flexible schedule that allows me to make plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m used to planning my day around my own dog’s needs, so caring for pets is already a normal part of my everyday life. I’m also flexible throughout the week and can work with different schedules depending on what you and your pet need! I always make safety and comfort my top priorities when caring for someone’s pet. I’ll follow any instructions and routines the owner provides, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific rules they have for their pet. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and are never put in an unsafe situation. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’ll also be respectful of their space and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, so I’ll always care for them like I would my own!

About: I had dogs growing up, I have two cats now, and I have experienced taking care of rabbits too! Took a break from sitting to finish grad school but ready to get back into take care of some cute pets again! I am a graduate student and I play roller derby. Aside from that I am available from Thursday through Sunday! On Thursdays I am available until 4pm. My cats are strictly indoor cats now. They are very well taken care of with plenty of space in my apartment, a window for them to look outside, and a cat tree for when they want to climb something.

About: Hi thanks for considering me for the care of your tiny baby! I’ve been pet sitting full time in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Tampa area (I am now in Gainesville, FL) for over 4 years now but in that time I’ve met over a dozen new families! It feels crazy that I've made lifelong connections with something that was just supposed to be part time. (If you can’t tell I LOVE my job and enjoying connecting and caring for every new family.🥰 ) I took about a year off, only pet sitting for my regulars but now that I'm settled into Gainesville I'm opening my schedule for new clients! As much as I love cuddling and playing trust is everything and if you have an especially anxious pup or just mistrusting, I can give them the space they need and show them they can trust this new person in their house by taking things at their speed. I’m great for last minute plans so you don’t have to worry about where your baby is going or if they’ll get enough loving while you’re away. :) I like to live an active lifestyle walking at the beach or finding a new trail. As far as a daily routine I like to adapt to whatever the dog or cat's schedule is but at the end of the night love ending up on the couch cuddling watching tv! Since I do this full time my schedule is according to my client's pretty simple. On my days off though I still like to keep a routine sleeping until my cat cries for wet food, stretching, and journaling every single morning. Throughout the week I do strength training and am taking an online bookkeeping class. Safety for me and you pet is always going to be number one over everything. If a dog or cat feels unsafe, things can only go down from there. The key is to give a fearful or uncomfortable pet SPACE and let them come to me.
