About: Animals have been a part of my life since day ONE- I grew up as an only kid on the family farm, so my pets were truly my best friends. That early bond gave me a deep, intuitive understanding of animal behavior and body language. I’ve raised and cared for dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits- you name it- since I was little and have always been able to tell when an animal needs space, reassurance, play, or just a quiet moment. I also have experience working with injured and/or sick animals; administering IV/IM injections, wound care/first aid, breathing treatments, etc. Today, I share my home with a sweet dog and cat, and we also own a horse who is boarded just outside of town. I care for every pet like they’re my own and develop deep bonds with the animals in my care. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, a slow walk for a senior dog, or calming a nervous horse, I take pride in reading their needs and meeting them with patience, kindness, and care. I’m currently between jobs and using this time to re-evaluate my career goals- so I’m home during the day and have a very flexible schedule. The only regular commitment I have outside the house is feeding horses at our barn twice a week, which takes about two hours— so even on those days, I’m not away for long. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on making them feel safe, loved, and relaxed. At my home, they’ll have access to a large, fenced backyard, playtime with my friendly terrier mix Robi and lots of attention from my middle school aged kids who love animals. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. I treat every pet like part of the family, wherever they are.

About: **small dogs only** I am a recently retired teacher and I am willing to watch your precious pup at my home or stay at your home for an additional fee while you are away. My home is in the Irmo area, and I will watch and love your dog as I did my own morkie, Izzie who, sadly, passed away in September 2023, and our recently adopted 4-year-old Shih-Tzu Gus. We walk on leash only, have a fenced yard, a nice neighborhood to walk, and parks nearby. There will be plenty of play time, nap time, and fresh air. I understand how your pup is your baby, and I will provide the same attention and love you give. I only keep one client’s pups at a time so I can provide that undivided attention they need. About: I am a dog lover all the way around. I find working with animals fulfilling. I love their unconditional love and absolutely loving giving it back to them. I have a husband, son and daughter that are as crazy about dogs as me. They work with me at a shelter to unload transports and finding foster dogs their furever home. I have several adopted dogs and work with a local shelter when I have the additional time.
