Her 3-year-old absolutely loved him, which was one of the sweetest parts of the whole experience. Spike was a little shy about eating at first, so she actually hand-fed him his breakfast until he felt comfortable enough to eat. That told me everything I needed to know about how loved and cared for he was while we were gone. Spike came home happy and clearly very comfortable with his stay. “My husband and I were extremely pleased with the services Emily provided and will definitely be using her again when the need arises. During the meet-and-greet, both Bobo and Ellie, my cats, were reluctant to come out of their safe places, which is normal when they encounter new people. However, based on Emily’s photos and videos, they warmed up to her on the first drop-in visit. Emily was always punctual and spent the entire remaining time playing with Bobo and Ellie after feeding and litter box duty. The videos show they both absolutely adored Emily and soaked in the attention they received from her. Emily gave twice daily summaries about feedings, litter box patrol, and playtime. She also accompanied the summaries with pictures and videos of Bobo and Ellie to reassure me they were just fine. Emily is definitely an asset to the Rover company! About: 30+ years loving and caring for all types of fur babies! I've been around animals most of my life so it is second nature to me to take care of and love on them! Do you want someone not just to feed but also love your pets? I am currently between jobs and as such an available 24/7 at the moment. I have recently applied to some full time jobs, so that may update soon. In home the pets stay indoors unless needing to potty. We have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to roam and play. At times when we are out of the house the (dogs) would be on the covered back porch with water and full access to the fenced in yard.
“Jade, did a phenominal job watching my three babies (cats). I had a last minute travel issue come up, and I needed to find someone to care for my three cats while I was gone. I had to book last minute, and did not have time to do a meet and greet. This was my first time using Rover, and I selected Jade based on her excellent reviews. My cats are my babies, and I have hired friends and neighbors in the past to care for them when we were gone, only to be frustrated upon return to see that the little I asked them to do, was done very poorly. Due to the last minute booking I was only able to communicate with Jade via messages, but she immediately reassured me that she would make sure our babies were well taken care of. We are in the process of selling our home, so I needed someone who would provide loving care to our cats as well as making sure they didn't track in dirt, and kept things as clean as possible when stopping to care for the cats. Jade went above and beyond, and I cannot thank her enough. My cats are terrified of anyone outside of our family, and because we have realtors showing our home right now, there are a lot of new people coming in and out, which is causing a lot of anxiety to the cats. I asked Jade to ring the doorbell and wait 30 seconds to allow the cats to get to their safe place and hide, to help keep their anxiety down. She did this everytime without hesitation. She made sure the litter boxes were clean, as well as the area around the boxes, which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we are moving out of state and I will not be able to use Jade's services in the future. However, if you are seeking someone to care for your animals in a loving way, and a way you would care for your animals...I would highly recommend hiring Jade. Thank you Jade for the love and care you provided to our babies while we were away. We appreciate it more than you could possibly know.”

About: Hey there! My name is Shae and I think I'd be a great option for you to consider as a dog friend. The past six or so years I've worked, managed, and assisted multiple different rescue organizations and have learned so much about the dogs in my care that it truly has become a profession. Before that I was a regular dog boarder/walker in Washington state on Rover & Wag which is where my reviews start from. Parents used to participate in world shows with our GSD growing up so I had young and immediate exposure to working lines and I've also had a stint working with wildlife between gigs/states. Ive worked in a spay/neuter clinic as a tech, completed animals CPR, and Ive managed animal transports which basically means I drove dogs who are out of time here in the south into the north for a better chance at life. While on transport with me, it is my job to walk them, care for them, and soothe them on the long, stressful** journey. Now Im taking care of my grandpa so I am always home. *Able to administer oral medication, and injections *Comfortable with most special cases (behaviourally or medically) *Able to care for seniors, or sense-impaired *Typically will gage health, comfort, & energy level and do playgroups; large w large and small w small dogs only. If you do not want you're pup interacting w others, please specify as I am able to keep everyone separated via sections of the home and yard rotations. Though typically when grouped, they have in-out access for 85% of the day but are supervised 100% of that time as my working space is indoor/outdoor. If multi-boarding (usually just around holidays), I do crate overnight (indoors) roughly 10pm to 7am. Multiple dogs from same home, or pups that find crates stressful, that are not destructive when alone can sleep in the guest bedroom. . Overall I'm pretty flexible and do this for the love of dogs, so if you have concerns, questions, or preferences, please feel free to shoot me a message! My pups are my world and I understand how stressful leaving them can be so I send lots of pictures and do my best to show them theyre loved while puppy-parents are away. Home full time caring for my grandfather, so dogs are roaming and playing most of the day. Longest theyll spend without outside time is overnight, otherwise its usually no more than 2hrs. Without being too curt, I ensure the dog is comfortable, safe, fed, and loved. I think this is too complicated of a question to answer in a brief box as all dogs vary and require different amounts of affection, interaction outside, medicine, et cetera et cetera.. But I am one of those people who calls my dogs my kids and I do believe they as a species deserve so much more.

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I have no problem giving medication or following any medical-related plans. I work with pets of all ages. I look forward to meeting y’all! I am currently a therapist that works remotely from home, so I am able to be with fur babies in-between clients throughout the day to meet their needs. I am very active, so plenty of walks for pups! While on transport with me, it is my job to walk them, care for them, and soothe them on the long, stressful** journey. Now Im taking care of my grandpa so I am always home. *Able to administer oral medication, and injections *Comfortable with most special cases (behaviourally or medically) *Able to care for seniors, or sense-impaired *Typically will gage health, comfort, & energy level and do playgroups; large w large and small w small dogs only. If you do not want you're pup interacting w others, please specify as I am able to keep everyone separated via sections of the home and yard rotations. Though typically when grouped, they have in-out access for 85% of the day but are supervised 100% of that time as my working space is indoor/outdoor. If multi-boarding (usually just around holidays), I do crate overnight (indoors) roughly 10pm to 7am. Multiple dogs from same home, or pups that find crates stressful, that are not destructive when alone can sleep in the guest bedroom. . Overall I'm pretty flexible and do this for the love of dogs, so if you have concerns, questions, or preferences, please feel free to shoot me a message! My pups are my world and I understand how stressful leaving them can be so I send lots of pictures and do my best to show them theyre loved while puppy-parents are away. Home full time caring for my grandfather, so dogs are roaming and playing most of the day. Longest theyll spend without outside time is overnight, otherwise its usually no more than 2hrs. Without being too curt, I ensure the dog is comfortable, safe, fed, and loved. I think this is too complicated of a question to answer in a brief box as all dogs vary and require different amounts of affection, interaction outside, medicine, et cetera et cetera.. But I am one of those people who calls my dogs my kids and I do believe they as a species deserve so much more.

About: I’ve grown up around all types of pets and absolutely love all animals! We’ve had an array of animals in our house growing up such as a German shepherd, parakeets, love birds, hamsters, gerbils, hermit crabs, and Jack Russell terriers! I now own three dogs! We have a super sweet labrador, a frenchie, and a boxer-pit mix. We love taking our big dogs on hikes and out to socialize any chance we get! Daily walks and outside time are a must for our pups and we love every minute of it. I have experience with IVDD and surgeries to follow with my French Bulldog. With that being said, I have first hand experience with caring for a medically fragile animal, administering medications, and seeing signs of discomfort in animals. As a pet owner and lover I know the importance of making sure you have someone you trust with your animal babies! I’m transitioning from being in the classroom full time to substitute teaching once school starts back up. I am free for the summer and will have flexibility in my schedule, especially for afternoons and evenings. I take my own pups out for a walk at least twice a day morning and evening. They also have outside time at least 3-4 times a day for 20+ minutes. If you choose to have your pet board with us we have a full privacy fenced backyard. We also have crates and gated off rooms to separate pups in they need a break or some down time. Our neighborhood is very walkable and private with low traffic.

About: My best friend of 15 years and her family have two wonderful dogs, a doodle and a lab who I have taken care of so many times. I even watched the doodle when she was just a few months old for about a week during a snow storm while her family was on vacation. They’re a handful but so much fun. I have also cat-sit for up to 3-weeks on end. Giving medicine, checking for packages, and updating if anything seems off. I am a graduate student with very flexible hours. I am happy to spend time with your pet while I study or just for personal therapy. I will make time for animals no matter what. I go above and beyond noting things like if the house temperature is uncomfortable for said pet. I keep them under constant supervision and won’t leave them alone for more than a few hours unless discussed otherwise. I am very thorough and will take extra time to make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe with a new person around them. I know what it takes to be patient with pets.

I used to volunteer to wash, walk, and play with animals after school at the shelter. I have dog sat my grandma dogs for weeks at a time as well if taking care of mine day to day. I’ve taken care of, feed played with and walked family and friends dogs and always made sure they were safe I’m currently not working so I have time to play and walk with your pups. I am able to board any day of the week at anytime! I do not have a fenced in yard but can assure you that your pups will be safe at all times.
