“Our dog, Noddle, is a cherished member of our family; Patricia treated him the same way. From the initial meeting, Patricia's genuine love of and experience with a variety of animals was obvious. Noodle took to her right away. From the photos including walks on the beach and playtime in addition to the messages she regularly sent us, we could tell that he was happy and pampered. We feel completely comfortable and enthusiastic recommending Patricia and will engage her again. She is great. Lucky Noodle. Lucky us.”

“Christina was great! She was super responsive, sent regular updates, and has an awesome indoor and outdoor setup for dogs. She followed all care instructions and clearly loves and takes great care of dogs. Would definitely book with her again! 🐾”

“Madison is the best!!!! Beau was so happy at her home with her fur babies! He's normally an anxious dog, but I was so pleased to see him so relaxed and obviously content when we picked him up yesterday! Madison sent me pictures of Beau everyday. He was happily hanging out on her couch with her adorable corgis and sassy cat! My dog had a ball! Madison is the sweetest dog sitter around!”

“Dana was great and sent me pictures throughout my dog stay with her. I have a Vizsla and she is high energy. She really enjoyed her time there and made her feel at home. I’m definitely going to use Dana again.”

“Karen and Chris were fantastic! They are such a nice family that took excellent care of our pup. They were great with communication and pictures. I knew our dog was safe and loved! Highly recommend!!!”

“Natalia and her husband provided excellent care for Gigi! They were so kind, and provided lots of updates and pictures, which we loved! I wouldn’t hesitate to have Gigi stay with them again (and Archie, of course!!). Thank you so much!! Look forward to seeing you again 🙂”

“Sharon was always very responsive and clear when communicating. She was very attentive to our pet who was well taken care of in Sharon’s home. Our pet was happy to explore Sharon’s big backyard. We would highly recommend Sharon to any pet parent!”

“It is a treat to know that I do not have to worry about my Emmitt when I have to go out of town! This was not the first time Kim has looked after him, but it is the first time since she built the dog park next to the house. Emmitt had a blast running and playing with his new friends - the pictures she sent of him out there completely put my mind at ease. I will continue to board with Kim when I have the chance.”

“Celina was wonderful. She made Maui's time with her and her pup Smokey, so great. Big yard, plenty of room to run and snuggle time when inside. She also made it easier to leave Maui with her wonderful personality and openess to let Maui do things on her timetable. She was very good at sharing photos and videos of Maui's time with her. I will use her services whenever I have to step out of town and not have to worry about my little pupper.”

“I love boarding my husky with Briana because of all the other huskies she has there. Koda seems to always have a great time playing and getting his exercise in with all the other dogs. Briana is very responsive and always sends photos of Koda during his stays. The price and level of care Briana offers is unmatched.”

“Karen was amazing! This was my first time leaving Hazel Grace with anyone other than family, and I was so nervous. Karen immediately put me at ease, sent daily photos and updates, and took wonderful care of Hazel. She even took the time during our meet and greet to make sure Hazel and her pup were comfortable together, and they became instant friends. Hazel had a great time, and I truly appreciated all of Karen’s care and advice. I would absolutely book with her again and recommend her 100%! 🐶💕”

“Anely has taken care of my senior dog several times now and she is incredibly patient, professional, and responsive every single time. My dog is getting older and requiring more and more attention and care, and Anely has been wonderful every single time.”

“This is Stella’s second family. I can’t say enough positive things about them! Pictures of Stella, and notes about how she is doing daily - I always feel so comfortable leaving her with them :)”

“Basil and I love Sarah. Basil loves Sarah's big back yard, meeting the school bus, playing with Sarah's kids and dog. This was her second stay with Sarah and I wouldn't even consider leaving her with anyone else.”

“Yunshu and her family are absolutely amazing. They treated my dog like it was their own and stayed in great communication with me so I knew how he was doing. I would highly recommend having Yunshu watch your dog!”

“I took Mia for a trial day with Dana, Mathieu and their two sweet dogs. I wanted to be sure it would be a good fit for all involved! They took great care to introduce everyone slowly to be sure all the dogs were comfortable. All seems to have gone very well, by the time I came to pick her up, Mia was feeling quite at home. She put herself to bed early. A sign of a good day! I will definitely sign her up for a longer stay!”

“Absolutely exceeded every expectation! This was our pup’s first boarding experience and it could not have been more positive. Brian was also an absolute pleasure to work with.”

“We left our 3 month old puppy for the first time over night with Kim and she had a great time! So many kisses, cuddles, and play time with her cute foster pup. Thanks Kim!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wakefield
We had such a great experience with our sitter! She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and I immediately felt comfortable leaving Stella with her. She kept me updated with pictures during Stella’s stay, which I really appreciated and loved seeing. Stella looked so happy and like she was having the best time! She came home happy and exhausted, so I’m pretty sure she had a wonderful time and got lots of love, attention, and playtime. I would definitely have Stella stay with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will take great care of their dog!

Archer ended up getting prescribed meds between when I booked with Sharon and his stay with her. She took the update in stride. Great communication and I felt confident with her caring for the most important being in my life. Archer was comfortable in her home and loved sunning kn the deck and sniffing around the yard.

10/10!! This was our first time leaving our dog overnight with someone other than family and by the end of our trip, Karen and Chris felt like family! We are so grateful for finding them through Rover. We looked forward to every message/update Karen sent (many times a day), simply the best! It was nice to get away for a couple nights and know our four-legged child was in great care. Thank you!!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
