About: I’ve loved cats since I was a little girl! I even saved a stray mama and took care of her until she had her babies (very cool experience for an 8 year old!) then I helped find homes for them. Of course, I had to keep one! I named her Kit. I've had cats since I was a young - Tabby cats, Tuxedo cats- I love them all. I now have a barn cat who I've had for 8 years! She waits for me every night to come and feed her in the barn. She keeps her distance, but she knows I am there to help her. She definitely knows my voice and footsteps. Sometimes she will leave me an occasional mouse! I also had an old cat who needed fluid and I used to give her subcutaneous fluids with a syringe, so I have some experience with old and sick cats.

Your dog, when with me, is the most important person in the world to me. I don’t text or talk on the phone when with your pet. All my attention is focused on your loved ones safety I work part time from home. Very flexible hours You name the time of day or night and I can be there. I am looking for 3-4 regular clients. I cannot have a pet overnight. It’s not allowed where I live. I can watch your pet at your pets home, which I think makes them feel more comfortable. I normally just sleep on the couch with the dogs. When they are with me, they are as loved as they are my own. It’s very hard for me to say goodbye so it’s often when I am with a doggy for 45 min and I am only booked for 30 min. I took multiple training courses at the shelter to be able to work with dogs that may need more care and attention, as well as for those that may be more reactive. I have also owned dogs my entire life and have been tasked numerous times with walking/watching people's dogs! I work remotely so I am able to watch your pet anytime throughout the day, and I am able to walk them anytime as I have more flexibility! I also finish work at 3pm so I am completely open after that time. About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! My yard has an Invisible Fence for my dogs which works out quite nicely and whenever I have other people's dogs over I make sure to keep them on a leash so no accidents happen. “Karen, Chris, and their family were truly the best of the best when it came to caring for our Sunny while we were away on vacation for a week. It was clear from the start how much love and attention they gave him—he absolutely adored them and their dog! He even whined on the car ride home because he didn’t want to leave, which says everything. Karen provided multiple daily updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was wonderful to see how comfortable, happy, and well cared for Sunny was throughout the week. We truly can’t recommend them enough and feel so lucky to have found such incredible sitters. “Kate was extremely nice and went out of her way for us. Our trip was last minute and we didn’t know where we were going so it was very chaotic. She was sup with nice despite me being very unorganized and allowed our dog to stay an extra night so the kids could have some extra time at the sledding park that we found. Gryffin had so much fun and I loved the pictures she sent. I highly recommend her and will definitely call her the next time we are going somewhere!!”
