About: I’ve grown up with many dogs ranging from Dachshunds to Pitbulls. I love helping my dogs stay active and comfortable. I would love to care for your pet, small or large, in your time away! I work a few days a week, so I am able to care for your pet through drop-ins and walks Monday-Friday from 6am-9pm. With at least a one day notice, I will make sure to prioritize your pet in my schedule. For drop-ins and walking, I will make sure to check on all of your animals needs and anything else pet related that you would like while I am there. I would love any tips to help care for your animal while I am with them!

About: I have always loved animals since I was a small child. I grew up helping to take care of my family's dog as well as pet sitting for friends and neighbors. I worked at an animal rescue through college as an animal care team member and adoption counselor. After I graduated, I started out working in animal hospital as a kennel and day camp assistant. I worked my way up in the veterinary hospital field from kennel to day camp to veterinary assistant and I have been professionally working with animals for the last 15 years. I have experience with dogs, cats and some pocket pets. I work with outpatient appointments and assist in surgeries at my current animal hospital and oversee all surgery appointments as their Surgery Coordinator. I can give medication, both oral and injectable. I have experience taking care of special need animals as well as pets with chronic diseases, such as diabetes and kidney disease. Working with animals has taught me how to understand their behaviors as well as their needs, both medically and mentally. I can take care of young puppies and kittens to older senior pets. I have experience caring for pets of all sizes and breeds as well. I work full time in Raleigh at a local animal hospital but offer visits before work, after work and a little later in the night for a last minute potty breaks, medications or cuddles if needed during the week. I also have afternoon availabity on weekends for additional visits or walks as well. I enjoy spending time with the pets I care for as if they are my own so they have my all of my attention while we’re together. I am currently working full time at a local animal hospital so I am available in the mornings and evenings. I spend time with my current clients before I head to work in the morning and after leave work in the late afternoon or early evening, and I can do a late night visit as well. On weekends and occasionally during the week when I am off of work, I can also offer an early afternoon visit as well. I currently offer home visits and dog walks. I make sure to take time to understand the needs that your pet. I will provide updates and photos to each client as well while I am with their pet.

“Hope is AMAZING. My partner and I were anxious about leaving our dog during the day while we are at work but Hope puts our minds at ease! She is prompt and reliable, friendly, and goes the extra step to make sure our dog is safe and comfortable when she is with him. We are so grateful for her!”

“Brendan was fantastic in dealing with Ria, a 110 pound hound mix. Ria was dealing with separation anxiety and curled up under an end table when Brendan first arrived. Brendan got down on the floor to gently rub her belly and softly talk to her until she felt comfortable and came out. They then went out for a nice walk followed by a delicious bowl of food. Ria was happy to see Brendan on each following visit and it appears that they are both good friends now. I will not hesitate to have Brendan over to care for Ria in the future.”

“Abigail was very Friendly My dog Jack's usually has to be introduced to somebody before. He becomes their best friend for the first time ever. He went straight to her and did not bark. I was very surprised at this. She has an excellent way with dogs. She showed app on time and did exactly as I had asked her to do. And she spent plenty of time with the dogs.I'm very happy and I highly recommend her to anyone”

About: Dogs were a part of my life my entire childhood. Once I had children of my own, we adopted so they can be a part of their family, too. Our pup, Clem, is a 5-year-old rescue who has been in our family since he was a puppy. I work full-time not far from my home. I’m able to walk and care for pups before I head to work each morning and give them lots of time in the evenings, with longer walks and backyard playtime. Weekends are when we explore on a hike or an extended walk along the greenway. I have a fenced yard in a dog-friendly neighborhood. My dog, Clem, plays well with others and loves having friends over. I have a crate on site that can be used for small to medium sized dogs if it makes your baby more comfortable.

About: I’ve been around cats my whole life, but in my teenage years I started bonding more with dogs—and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve had several dogs over the years, and my current pup, Johnny, is wild, playful, and full of energy. His best friend is a Great Dane three times his size, so I’m very comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes. Whether your dog is energetic, laid-back, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they get the attention, care, and fun they need. I have a flexible job that allows me to fit pet care into my day easily. I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the week and can adjust to your pet’s routine. For drop-in visits and dog walks, I treat your pets like my own. I make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. During visits, I’ll follow any specific instructions for feeding, playtime, or medication, and ensure they’re safe and comfortable. When walking, I keep them on a secure leash and adjust the pace to match their energy level, whether it’s a leisurely stroll or an energetic run. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my priority every step of the way.

About: I’ve had dogs (and cats and even a bird) for as long as I can remember! I spent a summer working at a doggy day care place and have interacted with all kinds of dogs! My mom’s dog that I’ve had since my childhood has kidney disease and requires extra attention with food and medicine, so I have experience with dogs that have specific needs. I would love to help care for your dogs! I’m currently working on my Masters and have a flexible schedule apart from classes, so I would love to fill my time with some pups during the week! I would love to work with you on scheduling to make sure your pups are taken care of! I love spending time with dogs in whatever way they most prefer! I love to take them on walks or sit on the couch with them and give them belly rubs!

“Thank you for taking great care of Crash while we had a long day. He always appreciates the cuddles and playing fetch - or at least getting the carrots after he pretends to fetch. Thank you!”

About: Hi, I’m Chelsea! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by pets—my nana bred Schnauzers starting when I was just 8 years old, so I learned early on how to care for dogs with love and attention to detail. We also had kittens when I was little, which gave me a soft spot for all kinds of animals. While working at a preschool, I even cared for the class guinea pigs, making sure they were clean, well-fed, and happy each day. Now, as a mom and pet owner myself, animals are still a huge part of my everyday life. We have three amazing family dogs—Zeus, our chill and independent gray Schnauzer; Atlas, our goofy but lovable black Labradoodle who secretly runs the show; and our third pup, Athena, who adds even more joy and personality to our crew. Pets are truly family in our home, and I treat every animal I care for with the same love, attention, and respect I give my own. Since I’m currently not working, my days are centered around my kids and our three dogs—and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Zeus, Atlas, and our third pup are part of our daily rhythm. Whether it’s morning walks, playtime in the yard, or cozy snuggles on the couch during quiet moments, they’re always by my side (or underfoot!). I’ve loved having this extra time at home to be more present with them—learning their routines, quirks, and what makes each of them happiest. It’s made my bond with animals even stronger, and it’s reminded me just how much joy and comfort pets bring into everyday life. When I care for pets, I prioritize making them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home—even when their humans are away. I take the time to learn their routines, body language, and preferences so they feel secure and understood. Whether it’s keeping feeding schedules consistent, sticking to familiar walking routes, or simply offering gentle reassurance and snuggles, I always aim to build trust at their pace. I treat their space with the same respect and care I give my own home, because I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their environment. My goal is always to make your pet feel like they’re in loving, familiar hands.
