“Julia did an amazing job caring for not only our pup but also our two rats! She kept us feeling comfortable throughout our trip by providing consistent updates and plenty of photos. She treated our home with great respect and truly went above and beyond. We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy.”

“Margo was fantastic at taking care of my two senior dogs, 7 lb morkie and 7 lb chihuahua. She arrived on time, found my garage door was open, closed it, sent me photos and walked them, fed them and spent quality time with them. Very responsible and a joy to have. Note, my morkie is feisty on walks and barks at everyone. We did a test walk and she handled him beautifully. Thank you Margo!”
“Melissa was amazing! She came and met my Pixie before we had to go on our trip. She sent me pictures everyday and let me know how she was. Melissa was super nice and did more then needed!!”

About: I’ve had the opportunity to dog, cat, and house sit for several families, many of whom have trusted me to care for their pets multiple times. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m happy to help with everything from feeding and letting pets out during the day to playing with them, giving them attention, and keeping them company in the evenings. My goal is to make sure your pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands! I work part-time Tuesday through Thursday, typically during the day and finishing by late afternoon. I’m off Friday and Saturday, as well as most of Sunday. On Mondays, I work from 6–9 PM but am available during the day. I’m also a graduate student, which means I spend a good amount of time at home working on schoolwork. This gives me plenty of flexibility to spend time with your pets throughout the day—whether that’s going for a walk, playing, feeding them, letting them out, or simply keeping them company and giving them lots of love and attention. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they get the care and attention they need while you’re away I love spending time with the pets and making sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll spend quality time with them, play with them, take them on walks when appropriate, and give them plenty of attention and affection. I also understand how important your pet’s routine is. I’ll do my best to follow their normal schedule and routines in your home so they can feel comfortable and secure. Whether they need playtime, a walk, some extra cuddles, or simply someone nearby, I want them to feel happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away
About: I have over 30 years of personal experience owning dogs, having almost 4 at once on my family's country farm growing up. Since I was a toddler I've had an easy connection with dogs that allows me to make fury friends easly. I've seen the good and bad of what it takes to look after them, from a new puppy to a sunset dog. I work a full time but I'm open to mornings from 7-9:30am and any hour after 7:30 pm after working. I'm otherwise free otherwise all day on Monday and Thursday I pay extra attention to wants and needs while ensuring food and water are always available. I keep pets in the designated area unless otherwise allowed. I would prefer to sit at your house on camera if possible as I do have 2 dogs at home that are friendly but want to make sure there is ample room for everyone.

“Megan was great with our dogs. She sent photos and updates on our short overnight trip. She is focused on their care and wellbeing. Would love to have her anytime we petcare.”

About: I’ve had two dogs a cocker spaniel growing up and now a golden doodle. I take care of friends and family dogs and will always be the most loving to your fur babies like their my own! I’m currently not working as I am a student in college focusing on school! For the most part I am free availability and flexible if notified! I don’t have a fenced in yard but big areas to play and my friendly high energy doodle to keep company, I crate my dog at night and am more than happy to agree with your preferences for your dog! I love spending time outside and walks!
“Jayla, we are so grateful we found you to care for our dogs on our trip away. You took not only such good care of them but also of our home. When we returned the house was neat and clean and the dogs were literally glowing. We are so happy we have found you and look forward to having you house and dog sit for us again. We feel you became not only a friend to our pups but to us as well. Please reach out for anything! Thank you again so much!”

About: My love for animals began at age 10, when my family rescued two kittens from Morocco during a vacation. That early experience grew into a lifelong devotion to caring for all kinds of creatures. I later spent 20 years on a small farm in Loxahatchee tending to cats, dogs, chickens, turkeys, exotic birds, and many abandoned animals who found their way to my door. With decades of hands‑on experience, from feral cats to bottle‑fed newborns, from energetic pups to sensitive birds, I bring calm, patient, loving care to every animal I meet. Each pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to understand what helps them feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. With a part‑time work schedule, I’m able to offer calm, unhurried, and attentive loving care to your favorite companion, no matter their species or personality. In your home, I create a peaceful, familiar experience for your pet. I follow your routines with care, offer calm companionship, and pay close attention to their emotional and physical needs. Whether it’s feeding, play, cuddles, or quiet presence, I make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and gently cared for.
About: I started my love for dogs when I rescued and fostered a Boston Terrier in college. I have raised and trained dogs from the age of 5 weeks (bottle feeding) to full grown adults. I always look out for the best interest for the dog, so playing enough outside to allow them to lose some energy and have a good time, bathing, dog parks, nap time, snack time, potty, treats, toys, all of the above to keep a happy pup. Gaining some extra cash on the side is never bad thing when its for bettering the doggo’s life. Animals know when they have a good friend or foe. I will be their new best friend that adores them with love, that they can't wait to hang out with me! I have a fully remote schedule, so your pet will never be left alone! I work around their schedule to make sure they are getting all the attention they need. I have a 3 year old Labradoodle, she is the friendliest dog who loves to make friends. I’m available to board over night or come to your house to walk and feed the pups, whatever necessary.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have watched other family and friends dogs and cats. I love caring for animals of all kinds. I currently work part time as an esthetician and have off Saturday to Monday, sometimes I’ll have off additional days during the week depending on my schedule and don’t currently work long hours so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I care for pets in my clients home as if they were my own. I follow owners requests and pet’s schedules such as potty breaks, feeding times, any medications, or exercise. At my home, I have a fenced in backyard with no pool and no children.
“Yaretzi was amazing and shared photos of Zarra during her care and also kept me updated on how she was doing. Yaretzi was very understanding and acknowledged our concerns of leaving our fur baby for the first time. We will definitely contact her again when we are back in town.”

“Logan was a great pet/house sitter for us. He bonded immediately with our girl, which turned out to be extremely important as they weathered some pretty noisy thunderstorms together! Logan provided daily updates on their walks and left the house neat and clean. We will use him again.”

As of September 2026, there are 701 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wabasso Beach. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wabasso Beach walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wabasso Beach maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wabasso Beach choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
