About: I have owned dogs and cats all my life. There has never been a time I haven't had an animal living with me. Until now... I’m retired and get my dog fix from dog-sitting. I believe that there is no greater love than the love from a pet. I started dog sitting when I was between teaching jobs. I have retired from teaching elementary art. Shantell is wonderful. She looked after our two dogs, and house, for five days, and went above and beyond in all respects. The dogs had never been left before and we were worried about it, but from first meeting, Shantell inspired confidence. She has a calm and warm energy that our nervous chihuahua (who is usually afraid of people) responded to immediately. She even found music he likes and made him a calming playlist ❤️ We are neurotic dog owners with a long list of detailed instructions which Shantell took on, including very early morning walks to beat the heat, and a three-meals a day schedule. Shantell kept us updated with regular photos, videos and messages. We can’t recommend Shantell highly enough. Thank you for making our trip an unexpectedly worry-free experience! Marcus and Princess will miss you!
Olivia could not have been a more perfect guardian for our dogs. They are not an easy duo and every photo Olivia sent in her attentive and reassuring notes during her stay provided the comfort and confidence that they felt comfortable and safe with her. She is a gem.
