She sent pictures of our cats to us everyday on vacation and was super responsive on her phone when we wanted to see our pets. It was such a relief knowing that she was here with them. One of the things I appreciated the most was that when we got here it was as clean as when we left it. She took all the notes and she performed the tasks laid out to her exactly like we did with the cats. She also helped keep them on their schedule by following their feeding times. Latasha played with them which is honestly more than I do sometimes. They may have gotten a little spoiled with all the attention lol. Each day she would send images but she'd also send a little story or observation of the cat. That was nice because it helped us to know that they were acting in their usual ways and not sad that we were gone and missed us. I would 1000% book Latasha again. If you've never had a cat sitter (we hadn't) she will answer all your questions and really set your nerves at ease.”

About: **I currently have two dogs of my own, but they stay at my partner's home if I am boarding your dog!** Hi! I’m a PhD student who has called St. Louis home for the past five years, and I’m currently in the final stages of writing my dissertation. The good news for your pets? I work from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, belly rubs, playtime, and keeping your furry friends company while you’re away! I am located in The Grove with access to a dog park at my apartment complex as well as walking distance to both Forest Park & Tower Grove Park for pups that enjoy long walks. One of my dogs loves people and dislikes other dogs, while the other one enjoys dogs and is wary of people so I have experience with a variety of dog personalities and their differing needs. Whether your pet is a professional cuddler, an energetic adventurer, or simply here for the treats, I’d love to spoil them ◡̈ Since I work from home while finishing my PhD dissertation, pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take plenty of breaks throughout the day for walks, playtime, and potty breaks. 🐾 My schedule is much more “read a paper, take a dog for a walk, write a paragraph, give belly rubs” than a traditional 9-to-5. I can easily adapt to the schedule of your pup! I’m happy to build pet care into my day and give your pets plenty of attention rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Having a furry coworker around is honestly a pretty great dissertation-writing perk! 😂 Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or theirs, I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions so they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I always keep a close eye on pets during walks and playtime. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide plenty of supervision and companionship throughout the day. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can see what your furry family member is up to. At the moment I have no pets, so I love this opportunity to help take care of others. I grew up with household cats and dogs. Part of my daily/weekly chores would be feeding them, bathing them, and taking them out for walks. As well as changing cat litter and scooping up dog poop and disposing of it properly. I can help make specific meals to dietary or health needs, or a simple dog/cat food feeding. I am able to give daily vitamins/medicine to pets, in the form of a pill or syringe. Experienced in and can provide young or senior care. I have a lot of flexibility right now with my vehicle and job that I work. I attend school online so I operate on my laptop easily. I have multiple verified references that can state the care I have provided for their animals and homes while they are on out of town on business or holiday.

I’m comfortable with the everyday responsibilities that come with pet care, such as feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, maintaining routines, and providing companionship. I’ve also helped care for kittens from birth, which gave me hands-on experience with young animals and taught me the importance of patience, cleanliness, observation, and consistency. I understand that every pet is different, and I make an effort to learn each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs rather than treating every animal the same. Besides my taking care of my own pets my time is free I’m currently unemployed just a full time pet mom and wouldn’t mind taking care of other pets like my own I Have family that helps me take care of my pets at home if needed I also make sure my pets have everything they need when I leave according to how long I will be gone so no need to bring them with me
