“Julia was amazing. Lucy was very excited to see her every visit. Julia’s communication and updates were wonderful Thanks for a great two weeks in Saint Louis. Lucy will miss you. ❤️”

About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and had the honor of helping care for my friends and family members’ pets. While I am new to Rover and professional dog sitting I am certainly no stranger to caring for dogs and have experience caring for small puppies and senior dogs who need regular medications or help ambulating. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I currently work about 12 hours per week from home so I am most often home and able to let my own dog outside to our fenced yard whenever she wants to go for the most part. I live alone with my nearly seven year old standard poodle Kaya and we are excited to have some house guests! I have a large fenced yard and a four bedroom single family home near the Delmar loop. I am most often home with Kaya who is very energetic, sweet and very well socialized with other dogs. We spend a lot of time in the big yard playing fetch since running off leash is Kaya’s favorite form of exercise.
“Mariah was so great with our dog, Levi! Her knowledge of dog body language, and behavior combined with her experience training gave us a lot of confidence when leaving our boy in her care. She was super communicative and kind throughout his stay. Afterward, we talked through some training tips and information on Levi specifically which was so helpful. He has some behavioral issues and reactivity and she handled him so well and is helping us to give him a more structured, happy, and calm life. 10/10 would recommend Mariah to anyone looking for a dog sitter or trainer!”

“Isa was amazing with our Vader! He had so much fun with her. I really loved her service for him and for us. She updated us with pictures, and even gave us a picture of Vader as his first doggy care picture out of town! Will definitely book with her again when we visit St. Louis again! Thank you so much Isa! We really appreciate the work you did.”

“This was our first experience using a doggie sitter from Rover but definitely won’t be our last. Brian was wonderful! He was extremely flexible in accommodating our schedule and took such great care of Sparky and Crouton! Loved all the pictures he sent!”

About: I’ve been into animals my entire life. I grew up with dogs and horses. I knew I wanted to at some point work with them in a greater capacity. I started helping with rescues 15 years ago and then I started doing wild life rehabilitation. I have had over 20 rescue animals in the past 15 years that became part of my family. Cats, dogs, squirrels, etc. I love them and being able to care for them. My daughter is headed to Veterinary school next fall! I’d like to think the love of animals she has seen in me helped her come to such an amazing decision. Let me love on your fur babies like I do on my 2 doggies and kitty cats!! I am currently available at anytime! I’m flexible with your schedule and can change if needed on things. I do remote work 4 hours per day 3 days a week which offers me the flexibility to be available when they need it anytime of day or night! I am willing to do things the way that you feel is best for your individual animals. I do not believe there is just one standard for caring, it needs to be tailored to the needs of the client/animal.

About: Experienced and energetic dog walker and sitter. Super compassionate and complete animal lover. I have 6 plus years caring for my own personal dogs and have 2 years professional experience dog sitting and walking. I feel comfortable engaging with many different breeds and have incredible patience. I have been been pet sitting and dog for other people's pets on and off for several years. I would love to provide your pet a fun and loving experience! I currently work full time. I can dog sit full time in my own apartment. For dog walking it would have to be part time. I very flexible so I can tailor my services to your pet's needs. I will regularly send updates/photos to owner while providing services to completely put your mind at ease!

“Francie was fantastic, plenty of playtime and outside time for my little Gía with other small pups. She was flexible with pickup times and took great care of my little girl. Will definitely use her services again. Thanks, Francie!”

“Lauren was great! We booked her last minute to watch our dog while we visited Gateway Arch National Park for three hours. We dropped her off, she updated us with how she was doing and sent photos, and she gave us a rundown of everything she did while she was there. 10/10, would use her again!”

About: Growing up, my parents took my to a farm camp every summer. Being surrounded by animals of all kinds (cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats, etc), ignited my love for animals at a very young age. I love to dog sit and walk dogs whenever my schedule permits. I do have a golden retriever of my own, she is very friendly and would love to go on walks with your furry friend if that is okay with you. I have loved fostering in the past. Fostering has allowed me to get to know many breeds and behaviors of dogs which has made me a proficient dog walker and pet sitter. As a nurse, safety is always my priority. I will always ensure your furry friends are safe and well taken care of. I am currently working 3 12hr shifts a week. I would love to help out whenever I am available on my days off from work! When caring for pets, I ensure to build trust in order to make sure the animals is as comfortable as possible. With this being said, I make sure to take my time during visits and pay attention to how your pet is feeling. I realize all animals are different! Please let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs, their energy level, and if there are any behavioral issues I should be aware of. I of not need to know any of these ahead of time, however, I like to know as much information about your pet as possible so I am able to accommodate them to the best of my ability.
“Lisa’s daycare services have been excellent for my pup! I was eager to find a place where my dog, Laika, could interact with a small, familiar group of dogs more regularly since a large daycare environment would likely be overwhelming to her. Lisa has been super thoughtful and accommodating to both my pup and my own hectic schedule, and I can tell Laika is always eager to see her new friends when she goes to daycare.”

“Alexandra was extremely accommodating, communicative, and fantastic to work with! She sent great updates about our pup and made us feel extremely comfortable! Would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have had animals in my house since I was a child. My cats act more like dogs and love to play and have fun yet they can still be calm and cuddly. I would love to create memories with your pets as well! I currenlty spend 3 days working from and can be there for your pet when they need me. They are also able to keep me company as I watch movies or binge tv shows. They are always allowed a cuddle to sleep or a cuddle on the couch. I have a fenced in yard but can also have your dog leashed and taken on a walk or tethered in the yard. They will always have access to food and water and are fed on whatever schedule you would like them to be fed on. Playtime is also my favorite. I have a lot of open space in my home and have a room where they would be able to go if they prefer to not be around other animals.
“Daisy was completely exhausted after a FUN day of play with Sara's dog. Sara was a great sitter with excellent communication on my need for a slight schedule change. Daisy is definitely going back soon to visit and have a fun play date.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. In high school, I was the one people called to watch their pets when out of town. At 18, I got my first non family dog and self trained her for the AKC good citizen test. At that point I became the friend everyone called to help train their dogs. I have fostered bottle babies all the way to senior animals with complex medical needs. I also have experience working with reactive and fearful dogs. I am also experienced in dispensing medication. My current dog has a spinal condition and gets medication twice daily. My soul dog was in palliative care for the last five months of her life and I learned a lot about basic canine first aid. My current dog has traveled with me extensively. He’s been to 13 states and roadtrips with me through Mexico. I think there is a care plan for every animal. I look forward to treating your pet like they are part of the family. I work full time from home, but have a very flexible daytime schedule. I am able to take breaks as often as needed with no issue. I currently walk my dog at 5am and 10pm to avoid daytime heat and give him bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours. I learned a long time ago that routine is best for most pets. My dog does for two 45 minute walks a day, and meals twice a day. When hosting another pup, your pups schedule will be continued. Even if it’s different from my dogs. They will be fed separately and created separately. If your dog is less social I have plenty of space to keep the pups separate, if needed. When dog sitting in your home, my dog will head to do more board and train lessons and my routine will shift to match what your dog is used to.
“Walter and his wife have been so great with my dog! Kenai loves going over there for the day. They have made Kenai a welcome member in their home and even take him out for walks. They’re also understanding of my changing schedule when it comes to early drop offs and different pickup times. I really appreciate them!”

“Hailie and Alex did a wonderful job looking after Yodi during our brief stop in St. Louis! We were a bit worried about how long it would take him to feel comfortable in a new environment, but based on the pictures they sent and how quickly he fell asleep after being picked up, he had an enjoyable and eventful day! Not only was it clear that Hailie truly loves animals, but their dog Evie was playful with Yodi and helped get all his energy out. We definitely recommend if you're looking for a positive experience for your pet!”

About: We like to run!! We are hands on dog people who believe in getting plenty of sunshine and playtime outside if the weather permits. I have been a dog owner from the time I was a child so I’ve always been around dogs. My pup Roxie, who recently passed away, use to enjoy watching animal planet, going for walks at Forest Park and napping in the warmth of the sun. I miss her very much and I’m not looking to get a new companion just yet. I raised my last dog from a pup into his old age so I am well aware of what that involves. I will go the extra mile to make sure your dog has a positive time in my care and that you yourself are satisfied with your experience. I send photo updates to keep intouch as well! I would thoroughly enjoy keeping your pet company. I also love cats and I am more than willing to pet sit them as well. Currently have no pets of my own or children. I am available to do checkups or house sit also. I’m currently working part-tome so I have plenty of spare time to pet sit in your home. I can watch your pet in your home or in my own.I do check ins and play time. Currently accepting dog or cat boarding in my home. I am good with reptiles and also birds. Kid free, pet free home. I currently am able to take dogs to park, pet sit in your home or my own. Mainly cat or dog but I am comfortable with reptile and birds also..Please ask me any questions. I really enjoy all animals company!
