About: For as long as I can remember, I’ve been taking care of animals. Growing up I had, of course, dogs but also cats, rabbits, birds, and even a chinchilla! I moved to a farm as a teenager where I was kept busy taking care of livestock and training horses. Naturally I seeked out jobs with animals too. I’ve worked 1 year at a horse barn and then 2 years at a vet clinic. While working at an animal clinic I learned how to take care of every doggy personality whether it be high reactivity, shyness, dog-aggression, or high energy. I also, of course, learned a good bit about vet med too. I’ve also taken care of many types of cats friendly and sassy ones too! I know how stressful it is leaving a fur baby behind but I want pet owners to know I will give my absolute best care to each and every animal and keep you in the loop with paw-some photos! She stepped in on extremely short notice, late at night, and handled everything quickly and professionally. She stayed in communication the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. What’s even more impressive is that she found our camper at Smith Lake—not an easy place to locate. It’s in a remote RV park/marina that doesn’t really have a clear address, and somehow she still found it without needing to call for directions again. She’s clearly a great listener and super dependable. I truly couldn’t recommend anyone more to care for your fur babies. Makenzie is a gem and a total lifesaver!”

From personal pets(dogs, cats, fish, etc.) to looking after and caring for other’s pets. I have some experience in training dogs in basic commands. I used to help train/look after k-9 German Shepherds for my dad’s police department during my high school years. Im currently unemployed so my pet care availability will literally be any day and anytime you need a sitter, someone to check in on your babies, or someone to just take them on a walk and get some well needed exercise. I currently don’t offer care at my home but have no problem caring for your pet/pets at your home or any other location needed. I will have a list of available animal hospitals that are closest in need of an emergency if one was to arise. I would quickly but safely rush to the nearest hospital to get them the care they need before contacting the owner first. Emergency care comes first before notifying owners.

About: I am an avid animal lover who would love nothing more than the opportunity to care for and spend time with your fur babies while you're away. I have owned both dogs & cats for as far back as I remember. At our house they aren't just pets, but a part of our family. I am a single Mother of two kids, one is grown and lives in Tennessee & the other is in Grade School. I have always had pets so my Children have been raised around them their whole lives. We had an American Eskimo Spitz who we were blessed with for 16 years and who we miss every day. My Son had a Chihuahua who passed away at the age of 8 this past year, who is very much missed every day. We have currently have one cat(who I think is more sloth than cat because she sleeps what feels like 24/7) and a Doberman that was rehomed to us last year who we love so much.
