“Karisa E. is amazing in every way. I’m so thrilled that I booked her for drop-in visits for our two cats while we were on vacation for twelve days in Maui. Although I had been happy with other cat sitters that I’ve worked with on Rover, I decided to give Karisa a chance, because she was more affordable. Boy, am I so glad that I did. Karisa bonded with our kitties, Klondike and Sprite, better than anyone I’ve ever worked with before. Sprite, in particular, is very skittish and will hide from pet sitters, but, miraculously, she was happy to let Karisa and her children hold her during visits. Klondike likewise got tons of attention and affection, as evidenced by the many photos Karisa sent. Karisa also took care of watering my many orchids while we were away. Plus, when I forgot to suspend our shipment of frozen meals from The Farmer’s Dog while we were away, Karisa was a lifesaver! Not only did she keep an eye out for the package, but when it arrived, she brought it in out of the hot sun, unpacked it, and stored everything neatly in the freezer for us. I will most definitely be booking her again in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have experienced every stage of life. Whether you’ve had your dog for 10 weeks or 10 years, I’m confident I will be able to give the best care they deserve! I currently work full time, so my availability is 6am-8am and 7pm-10pm on the weekdays. I’d love to start my morning or end my day taking care of your dog! I’m not available Thursday evenings, certain Saturdays due to work schedule, and Sundays. I’ll make sure to update my availability as soon as know of upcoming events! We have always crated our dogs in the past so I am very familiar with crating and the safe space a crate can provide for a dog. When it comes to walking dogs, I believe in giving them the freedom to explore around them (sniff the ground, watch a squirrel, etc) while still remaining in control of the walk. I also make sure to stay aware of my surroundings to ensure there are no cars coming, children running by, or things blocking the path for us to continue our walk.

About: Besides being a pet owner myself, I’ve worked for a puppy breeder, at well loved dog and cat grooming salons, and been a veterinary assistant where I gained experience in medications. How to orally and transdermally administer, as well as some injections and fluids. I’ve previously been a full time pet sitter/walker before as well! I’ve had lots of experience getting to know the needs and behaviors of dogs and cats. I’m a huge exotic animal lover too so if you have any rodents, lizards, snakes I’d be comfortable taking care of those! About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 18 years old. I am not intimidated by size or breed of dog or cat. I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, horses, chickens, llamas, and a hedgehog. If owner was okay with it I took the dog to work with me or to a park to walk. I currently work part-time at a park on Thursdays and/or when someone needs coverage. I also attend church on Sundays. Otherwise I am available all days. I treat the animals as if they were my own. Play with them inside and outside when weather permits. I enjoy cuddling with them and enjoying their company.

About: I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day. They can walk unleashed (I would never do this with a dog that is not mine!) and even know protective commands. I am currently homebound so you furbaby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby and would enjoy a companion to walk with. I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem. Stairs and basements will be blocked off all times to ensure safety and rooms will always remain closed. For house guests, we have an end table crate to ensure visibility when I am just resting. There is a regular metal crate and a spare room dedicated to any overwhelmed doggy.
