About: Ever since I was around 5 or 6, I always remember being in a home with pets. Whether it was dogs, cats, reptiles, a potbellied pig, and even smaller animals. Older or very young, all of the animals I have had and cared for were very spoiled and given a life well deserved. I love every single animal and couldn't imagine a life without them. About: I have experience caring for dogs at all stages of life, from puppies to senior and those with special needs. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. I have also raised and house-trained two puppies into adulthood, who are still with my family today! One of them is a unique mix of Belgian Malinois, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, and Rottweiler (Try saying that five times fast!). Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 18 years old. I am not intimidated by size or breed of dog or cat. I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, horses, chickens, llamas, and a hedgehog. If owner was okay with it I took the dog to work with me or to a park to walk. I currently work part-time at a park on Thursdays and Fridays and/or when someone needs coverage. I also attend church on Sundays. Otherwise I am available all days. I treat the animals as if they were my own. Play with them inside and outside when weather permits. I enjoy cuddling with them and enjoying their company.

I am flexible & will do what you think is best for your dog. I am used to staying calm under pressure & providing a reassuring presence for your dog. About: Animals have been a passion of mine all of my life. I have owned and cared for many species including fish, reptiles, birds, hamsters, dogs and cats. My love for animals brought me to work as a veterinary assistant and later to attend the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers. I have now been training and competing with my own dogs for 20 years and am also a professional dog trainer. As a trainer, I have earned the credentials to be an AKC Canine Good Citizen/S.T.A.R. Puppy/ Farm Dog/ Trick dog evaluator. With my veterinary assistant and dog training experience I have gained the knowledge to properly handle and care for many beloved pets. I can assure you that I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am available most days. Mondays and Wednesdays I am unavailable between 9:00AM-5:00PM. I have plenty of time to provide services for you and your pets. If boarding in my home- you can use my kennel set up or bring your own crate. I have a nice, fenced play yard that I use to let my dogs and visiting dogs run and play (I do not let my own dogs play with visiting dogs). I also have a built-in dog bathtub that I can used to give your dog a nice bath (for an added fee) before they return home upon request. When I visit a home- I follow given instructions and keep the area clean. My goal is for you to not even notice I was there. When I visit to walk your pet-I follow instructions and keep the area clean. I remain aware and not distracted. This ensures your pet remains safe and engaged during the walk. If your dog is more fearful-I try to make the walk as stress-free as possible.
