“I loved that Heather came to meet Farah and I. I could tell right away she was caring and very patient. Our cat sitter couldn't come to check in on Farah while we were on vacation due to unexpected health decline. Heather was willing to with very little notice. We were gone for 13 days and had Heather do a drop in for 11 days. Farah requires eye cleaning just about every day and is super picky about how clean her litter box is. She also hates getting her eyes cleaned and Heather did such a great job with her eye care. She made sure she had clean water each day too. Heather did the best job!! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our girl!!”

“Natalie is 5 Stars amazing! We came home to 3 tiny pups who were wore out from the fun and love Natalie brings with her. I felt she listened to what I had to say to make me feel better even though this chick knows her stuff!!! Our dogs loved her and I think disappointed when they saw it was us coming home and not her!!”

“Once again, Tracy dropped in on our fur-babies while we were out of the country. Definitely reliable/dependable, and helps put your mind at ease when you're away from home and want to leave your fur-babies safe in the comfort of their own home.”

“Evan is great! I am so glad I found her when we got Sam, our new puppy that needed let out, fed and played with during the day. She's been on time and will take the dogs out in our larger back yard to sniff and play when the weather is nice. Sam and Charlotte have been cared for so well. :-)”

“Brooklyn is awesome. Takes great care of the house and me importantly Edmund, my dog. He now like for her in the guest room! Hahaha. I'd say he's happy with her service as well.”
“Anabela was at my house over the holidays and dropped in on my 3 cats twice a day. This was my first experience with Anabela and she was AMAZING!! I have OCD so I am very detailed about everything. She followed my instructions to a tee! She communicated effectively and provided great pictures. My cats loved her and so do I. I highly recommend Anabela for your pets.”

About: Hi! I’m Alicia. I’m a second grade teacher and lifelong Fort Wayne resident. I’ve had pets my entire life, but currently have none of my own, so I’m looking forward to babying yours this summer! I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer them a quiet, kid-free, pet-free, low-stress environment to settle into while you’re away. I’m extremely reliable, caring, and patient. Whether your pet needs medication, a consistent routine, or extra time to warm up to someone, I’m happy to adjust to whatever works best for them (and for you). Whether I’m with them for a drop-in or overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Plus, I love to take pictures and document our adventures, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away. Feel free to reach out to set up a time to chat or schedule a meet and greet! As a teacher, my summers are especially flexible for drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. When school starts (August-May), I’m limited to before and after school drop-ins, but always open to schedule overnight stays at your house or mine especially on weekends or holidays! At my house, your pets will be the only pets in the home, so they’ll get all of the attention they deserve! My house is pet-proofed and I’m very committed to ensuring your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.
“Samantha was great with my kitties :) she was very flexible on time and catered to my boys *extra* needs. They were clearly happy to see her from the pics she sent me while I was away!”

About: I believe every pet deserves a sitter who truly understands their unique needs. As a dedicated cat owner of over five years, I specialize in feline care, from reading their subtle body language to creating a comfortable, stress-free environment where they can thrive. My experience extends beyond just cats. I have over three years of professional experience caring for a variety of pets, including small to medium dogs. I've cared for a wide range of personalities, from playful puppies to calm seniors, and am confident in my ability to handle different temperaments and needs. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, secure, and loved in your absence. I'm not just here to feed and walk them—I'm here to give them the same level of care and attention they'd receive from you. My life is built around providing excellent care for pets. As a part-time graduate student, my schedule is quite flexible. My only standing commitment is my class on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 4:30 PM to 7:15 PM. This means I'm available most of the time to give your pet the consistent attention and care they need, from early morning to late evening. I am committed to providing the best possible care for your pet within the comfort of their own home. Whether it's a drop-in visit, a dog walk, or overnight boarding, I will make sure your pet's routine is respected and all their needs are met.
“Amara was amazing! Even got my reclusive cat Soeren to come out for treats. Lily, of course, was her usual extroverted self and came out for lovies. So sad we only got to try her services once, but we will definitely recommend her to friends.”

About: Hi!! I’m Taylor! Your dogs new bestie, I’ve owned dogs my whole life. I am also a healthcare provider taking a break right now. I am usually the first person my friends and family ask to watch their animals! I enjoy long dog walks, parks, dog snuggles and hanging out. I am home all day right now, looking to fill my time. I’d love to take your pet for walks to nearby parks, listen to Taylor Swift together or snuggle on the couch watching movies. I have a huge yard and a very sweet eight year old labradoodle that loves all dogs, and cats. All animals are welcome on the couch or bed! Whatever makes them comfortable.
“It was our first time using Rover and it was a great experience thanks to Edmy and Craig they did a fantastic job keeping us updated about everything going on and giving us peace of mind while we were away! Highly recommend!!”

About: Hey! I have been around pets my entire life and have also worked in a small vet clinic. I currently only have one dog, an 8yo Yorkie. Dogs of all sizes are welcome here, if you are working on socializing/training a pup.. this is a great place to do so! I adore dogs so I figured why not help someone out during my free time here in Fort Wayne. I just moved here for a travel assignment, and will only be here until April 2026. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! I currently work full time as a travel RN at PRMC. I will only be working 3 nights a week, on the days that I am off I would love to help care for your pup! I have a fenced yard where the pups can play, I also enjoy taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood. Anytime I accept a client, I will insure that I am here to supervise at all times.
About: I have a calm and peaceful presence that animals respond to almost immediately. You have seen it, some people just seem to be gifted at calming animals down when no one else can. I am delighted to say animals and I just seem to understand each other. I have a genuine love for all animals and they can feel this. This is especially true with dogs, horses, cats, and tame birds. I've never had a time when I didn't have animals, and I'd be delighted to care for yours like my own. I prefer to meet with you and your pets before your scheduled appointment so that you don't feel like you're leaving your animals and house with a stranger and so your animals and I get to meet prior to you leaving them in my care, so that we can help release any sense of abandonment issues they may have. I work a 9-5 job during the week, but I am able to leave and visit your home as needed for potty breaks and to provide lots of love and attention. I only watch pets in your home, so they know that you are only temporarily away and they still feel safe and secure in their own environment. My hope is this also helps you feel separation anxiety a little less, knowing your pets are happy and frolicking in an environment that you are very familiar with. I want you to enjoy your time away, knowing your pets and house are well loved and cared for. This includes me taking care of your house, plants, mail, putting the trash bins out, doing potty patrol of the yard and cleaning the litter box. I'm very detail oriented and follow instructions well. I do my very best to give you your house better than you left it and to remove all traces of me having been there, so you don't have to come home and worry about cleaning up. I understand what it is like to have to leave your pets behind and will contact you with pictures as often as you would like, so you know everything is going fine! Every pet is different and wonderful and I adapt to each and everyone's needs. If this includes them sleeping beside me or me waking up every two hours for a potty break, then you can know that is what is being done. I have been a house and pet sitter for many years, but have only recently started offering my services on Rover. I have undergone an extensive background check so you can know your pets and belongings are safe in my care. I look forward to meeting you and your pets to make sure we are a great fit together!

Hailey made me so comfortable leaving my cat for the first time. She shared her knowledge with cats, was eager to meet my cat during her initial visit, and was happy to send picture and updates while I was away. Would definitely use her again to take care of my cat.
