Our cat sitter couldn't come to check in on Farah while we were on vacation due to unexpected health decline. Heather was willing to with very little notice. We were gone for 13 days and had Heather do a drop in for 11 days. Farah requires eye cleaning just about every day and is super picky about how clean her litter box is. She also hates getting her eyes cleaned and Heather did such a great job with her eye care. She made sure she had clean water each day too. Heather did the best job!! About: Hi! I’m Alicia. I’m a second grade teacher and lifelong Fort Wayne resident. I’ve had pets my entire life, but currently have none of my own, so I’m looking forward to babying yours while you’re away! I am very flexible during the summer, school holiday breaks & weekends, but I also continue Rover services during the school week as well. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer them a quiet, kid-free, pet-free, low-stress environment to settle into while you’re away. I’m extremely reliable, caring, and patient. Whether your pet needs medication, a consistent routine, or extra time to warm up to someone, I’m happy to adjust to whatever works best for them (and for you). Whether I’m with them for a drop-in or overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Plus, I love to take pictures and document our adventures, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away. Feel free to reach out to set up a time to chat or schedule a meet and greet! As a teacher, my summers are especially flexible for drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. When school starts (August-May), I’m limited to before and after school drop-ins, but always open to schedule overnight stays at your house or mine especially on weekends or holidays! At my house, your pets will be the only pets in the home, so they’ll get all of the attention they deserve! My house is pet-proofed and I’m very committed to ensuring your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: What sets me apart is I have the best interest in your pet! I take pet care seriously and I ensure they are healthy and safe! I do have experience in puppy and dog training. I used to show my past dog in 4-h shows and dog agility. I am available Sunday and Saturdays from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. I can be available for weekdays however I work a job and would not be able to provide care past 7:00 pm. I keep my eyes on my dog and cats. I am careful about not leaving things out they can get ahold of and I am careful about their health as well!

About: Hello, my sister-in-law told me about pet sitting and I love animals so I found rover. I will be willing to stay over night or for the day on weekends. I have a really flexible schedules on weekends. I love animals and caring for them. I will make sure your pets will get the proper physical activites, food, and water throughout the day. I am a clean person and will be attendting college this fall. If there is anything that you need me to do I am a flexible person so I could make arrangements. I want you to know that your pet will be in safe hands with me. I know what it feels like to care for them a lot. My brothers have 2 dogs each and I care for them a lot. I am current available throughout the day during the week. I can drop in and do walks anytime of day even in the morning. :) I live in a secure neighborhood. I always make sure my pet (cat) is fed and has a clean litter box everyday. I also keep up with his oral care and nail trimming.

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 8. I love all animals but especially dogs. I’m an RN but in my free time I love being outdoors and going for walks. I work part time. So I have plenty of free time to spend with your beloved pets. I love going for walks and being active outdoor I have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks. I have the sweetest lab to keep your fur baby company with playing or napping.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family friends and neighbors since I was very young. I also have a lot experience with cats, as I own two myself! I graduated with a B.A. in environmental and marine science in 2023 and worked as a zookeeper for two years. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I am available during mornings and evenings depending on the day I am not able to care for pets in my home. Both of my cats are quite old and do not do well when around other animals.

About: I'm extremely patient with any dog. I always make sure they fell comfortable around me before I do anything! I am a strong walker!
