“I loved that Heather came to meet Farah and I. I could tell right away she was caring and very patient. Our cat sitter couldn't come to check in on Farah while we were on vacation due to unexpected health decline. Heather was willing to with very little notice. We were gone for 13 days and had Heather do a drop in for 11 days. Farah requires eye cleaning just about every day and is super picky about how clean her litter box is. She also hates getting her eyes cleaned and Heather did such a great job with her eye care. She made sure she had clean water each day too. Heather did the best job!! About: I have a calm and peaceful presence that animals respond to almost immediately. You have seen it, some people just seem to be gifted at calming animals down when no one else can. I am delighted to say animals and I just seem to understand each other. I have a genuine love for all animals and they can feel this. This is especially true with dogs, horses, cats, and tame birds. I've never had a time when I didn't have animals, and I'd be delighted to care for yours like my own. I prefer to meet with you and your pets before your scheduled appointment so that you don't feel like you're leaving your animals and house with a stranger and so your animals and I get to meet prior to you leaving them in my care, so that we can help release any sense of abandonment issues they may have. I work a 9-5 job during the week, but I am able to leave and visit your home as needed for potty breaks and to provide lots of love and attention. I only watch pets in your home, so they know that you are only temporarily away and they still feel safe and secure in their own environment. My hope is this also helps you feel separation anxiety a little less, knowing your pets are happy and frolicking in an environment that you are very familiar with. I want you to enjoy your time away, knowing your pets and house are well loved and cared for. This includes me taking care of your house, plants, mail, putting the trash bins out, doing potty patrol of the yard and cleaning the litter box. I'm very detail oriented and follow instructions well. I do my very best to give you your house better than you left it and to remove all traces of me having been there, so you don't have to come home and worry about cleaning up. I understand what it is like to have to leave your pets behind and will contact you with pictures as often as you would like, so you know everything is going fine! Every pet is different and wonderful and I adapt to each and everyone's needs. If this includes them sleeping beside me or me waking up every two hours for a potty break, then you can know that is what is being done. I have been a house and pet sitter for many years, but have only recently started offering my services on Rover. I have undergone an extensive background check so you can know your pets and belongings are safe in my care. I look forward to meeting you and your pets to make sure we are a great fit together!
