“Janet is always a spectacular sitter! Lots of daily updates and photos during our dog’s stay and we were able to be totally worry free during a longer international vacation with our girl in Janet’s care. :)”

“My experience using the rover app was a 10/10. I came across Ms.Deb page and gave her a chance and I am so happy that I did. She was very friendly and accommodating. Her present was like a fresh of breath air so I knew my dog would be in great hands while I was on vacation. During my vacation , she reassured me that khloee was in good hands. She sent me pictures and videos and texted me every day. If I were to go on vacation again I would definitely asked Ms.Deborah to watch khloee again . She did an amazing job ! Thank you so much for taking care of khloee ❤️”

“I wish I could give Vicki and Patrick 10 stars! They were so sweet with our Bernese Mountain Dog, Lola. We received so many updates, they were super responsive, and so kind! Lola had so much fun with her new best friend, Ginger.”

“Lana is a great foster mom! She took care of Carla for few nights when we were out of town. She followed our detail instructions about how to feed Carla. She has also sent video and picture to make sure Carla is okay everyday. Thank you Lana!”

“Summer made my time away from Oscar so much easier. Honestly, we joked that he might not want to come home after all her spoiling. She took him on runs, to Washington Park, snuggled him and played with him. We definitely recommend her and when we need help she will be the first one we call.”

“Super nice couple that clearly love dogs. They even arranged a play date w a neighbor's same breed and they played all night! I got one or two phots each day even though it was a weekend stay and my dog Ben seemed to love Stephen”

“Liz was incredibly kind and great with Radar. She kept me well informed and was extremely flexible. Would definitely recommend Liz and would use her again!”
“Lindsay and Josh were incredible. Apart from taking good care of my dog and sending me plenty of pictures, they were very understanding and accommodating when my flights got delayed and allowed me to extend my dogs stay another night so I didn’t have to stress. Couldn’t recommend these two enough”

“Harley was happy and relaxed with her first rover sitter ever. I got updates and pictures during her stay. They were very patient and understanding with pickup time due to some travel aftermath. I’m glad I found someone for her!”

“Stephanie is an amazing sitter! She’s a fantastic communicator and made sure we knew our pup was ok while we were gone. He was tired and happy when we picked him up :)”

“Katya did a wonderful job taking care of Zoey for me while I was out of town for over a week. She was very responsive to all of my messages and consistently sent fun photos of my pup through out the trip. It became very clear to me very quickly that Katya pays close attention to details, particularly as it related to Zoey's Probiotic and sensitive stomach. Had Zoey gotten into anyone else's food, she would have gotten an upset stomach and other issues. I absolutely would recommend Katya to anyone looking for a new sitter for long and short trips alike. I look forward to leaving Zoey with her again on my next trip.”

“I really liked Tiffany (and her daughter Sophia). She took great care of my dog Mika. They took her on walks and made her feel comfortable in their own home. She sent photos and updates that my dog was fine. From the beginning, communication with Tiffany was easy. I highly recommend her and in fact already recommended her to my other friends who have dogs too. Mika will be back for sure.”

“I've never used a service like Rover before, so I was very nervous. Tanya really made the experience so much easier and her dogs are both sweethearts. Tanya was great and, if I need a dog sitter again, I'll happily have her watch my dog again!”

“Norma was Amazing! I was very comfortable leaving My "Apollo" in her care. I felt like he was on Vacation at the same time I was on Vacation, he Loved her Catio! Norma sent Me pictures and I Loved to see how they had bonded! I highly recommend Norma and look forward to more Vacations now that I have found such a Wonderful Pet Sitter!”

“Our first time with Andrea and she was awesome. She sent us pics and let us know how the fur babies were doing each day. They got along great with her dogs too. Thank you Andrea for making them feel at home! We look forward to another visit!”

“Sean was wonderful with our pup - communicated often and attentive. We also appreciated all the nice pictures of Einstein playing with the other dogs.”

“Jessie was a great sitter for our pups. She gave detailed updates with a lot of pictures, and she knows what owners want to hear about how their dogs are doing! She obviously loves dogs and isn’t just checking boxes. She was also flexible with us moving the drop off time which was very helpful.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, including many unique and special needs dogs growing up (my family fostered Pugs). In adulthood, I also discovered my love for cats! I currently have two rescue dog and two rescue kitties, who are the loves of my life. I have volunteered at an animal shelter and worked at an dog training facility centered on positive-reinforcement training. My family also loves and has owned freshwater fish and hamsters, and I have past caregiving experience with birds, hermit crabs, turtles, chinchillas, and more! I always make sure to follow all directions exactly, communicate often and directly, and veer on the side of caution with your pet(s)! I am a very safety aware and cautious person, and will ensure that your pet receives the best care possible. As a family team, we are all a positive-reinforcement only, gentle approach household that will ensure your pet is treated with the utmost love and kindness, just as we would want our own pets would be treated by a pet sitter. For in home services, your pet will receive treatment as part of our family! As a household of animal lovers, our boarding gives pets a chance to play , cuddle, and get tons of love from a big, gentle, loving family. My kids are very caring, empathetic, and gentle, and will give your pet exactly the unique care and love your pet needs; however, for everyone's safety, we can only accept boarding requests for cats and small dogs who are comfortable with children, other small dogs, and very friendly cats. I am a full-time public school educator, so I am typically only able to accept stays during weekends, evenings, and full days during school breaks (occasionally I can accept lunchtime visits near my school during the school year). In our home, we have a fully fenced yard set up for small dogs and a large home that is pet-proofed for our own babies. We only take pets from one family at a time to make sure we are able to give your animal the love and attention they deserve. In home and out of home, we follow all instructions exactly as directed and practice open lines of communication to ensure you know your pet is well cared for! Because we are a family team providing care, you can be assured that your pet will be treated like a member of the family while they are staying with us, and will receive all the love, care, and affection they usually get at home.
Village East dog parents share their Rover experiences
Summer was absolutely wonderful with my dog. She sent me daily photos and updates, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. She spent a lot of time playing with him, keeping him engaged with his toys, and taking him out for walks and fun activities. She even went the extra mile and got him some treats, which I really appreciated. Summer is incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better boarding experience!

Kevin provided outstanding care for Roxie and Etta. They are not the easiest pups, but Kevin handled them with class and high quality care. We would not hesitate in recommending Kevin to our friends. He is an excellent communicator and did not hesitate in asking questions for clarity and understanding. He quickly bonds with animals and is a great sitter. Looking at our upcoming trips to plan more bookings with Kevin!

Lana was wonderful with my baby girl. She sent me photos and videos showing how she was walking the pup, wrapping her up in blankets, and how well my pup was doing at all times. I felt so much better about my trip knowing my "kiddo" was being so well looked after. Thank you, Lana! ~Lisa & Hermione

Kimberly was very patient with our puppy, Cooper, even though he was pretty terrible for his first time being watched by someone other than us. She took the time to explain some helpful ways to better manage his behavior, which we appreciated. We won’t be back for another stay until he’s better behaved, but we’re grateful for her patience and guidance during this first experience.

Hanna was amazing! She watched our two pups for two weeks while we were out of the country. We were so grateful she could board them because we live up in the foothills and our home isn’t very convenient for home sitting. We felt so comfortable with and confident in her abilities and her attention to detail. For a portion of our trip we didn’t have cell service and I was never nervous for our doggos, knowing Hanna could handle anything that might come up. One of our dogs is on multiple medications for anxiety and Hanna handled her needs perfectly. Both dogs seemed happy and healthy and well cared for after our return.

Serena was awesome! She arranged a meet and greet at a local park to ensure compatibility with her 2 pups, which is always great practice. Her communication was excellent throughout our 2 week trip outside the country and we received lots of pics! Highly recommend and will definitely book again!
