When I moved away for college, The house felt so empty without a furry companion, so I began fostering. I quickly became a failed foster, as I fell in love with my little pittie mix way too easy. We’ve traveled across the US together and I eventually rescued a sister for her because (like most pibbles), she needs all the attention and friendship she can find. I have over 5 years experience with pitties/ large discriminatory breeds, and although I have a heart for all breeds, those steal my heart. I work full time m-f with a flexible job, so I can adjust, depending on the day. However, the majority of my availability is in the mornings, evenings or weekends! I have (2) dogs at home and am used to having arms full of leashes. We walk in busier areas, but I tend to keep shorter leashes and stray from other dogs, for caution unless I have a single leash with control and know the dogs body language. We have tried a kennel before, for just a few days and thought we would never be able to go anywhere, but with Nate and his family watching our pups we feel like they were in great care. Nate sent updates and photos of them everyday while we were on vacation, showing how much fun they were having.
