Dogs are Love
I am passionate about dogs and have been a Rover pet sitter since November 2015. I love it!!! The pleasure of a dog's company is simply the best. I grew up with dogs (Dobermans and Fox Terriers) and have had two dogs of my own as an adult. Ruby, a border collie, cattle dog mix and Noah, a German shepherd. I have volunteered at shelters, rescued more than a few dogs and am astute about the care and love they need and deserve. Walking, caring for, "talking to", providing affection, and playing with your pet is work I love doing! I live in southeast Denver near several parks and Highline canal access. When boarding with me, I will walk your dog up to three times daily and have a small, fenced yard for their frequent "let outs" and some decent ball fetching time. I can also clip nails, provide a bath, and have good instinct about knowing when they need an ER vet visit. (Let's hope that is never the case.) I am trustworthy and want you to be completely at ease with your dog in my care. I appreciate the time spent to have a meet and greet prior to accepting your request. Of course, I will prioritize using the routine you desire for them. Feel free to provide as much information as you would like in your requests. Also, let me know if you are a first time Rover user and I can provide a code for $20.00 off before you book and pay. Under my care, except in my fenced backyard (and home), your dog will never be off leash. The front doors and gates are well-secured and four legged guests are held lightly with their collar whenever egress doors are opened. I currently have space for new walking customers. I am an experienced and careful walker. Water bowls are always filled and if needed packages are brought inside. I also try to vary routes, so your pups don’t get bored. Leashes and harnesses are hooked up properly and never removed until we are back inside your home. Thank you for considering me to be your pet's “sometime” guardian. I love dogs!!!

Schedule
Pet care accommodation and their exercise/bathroom/play requirements easily fit into my schedule. I am gone from my home no more 3 to 4 hours and not necessarily consecutively. I don't have timing problems because I think through my schedules and don't overbook.

Safety, trust & environment
Pups have complete access to all rooms. Dogs are not allowed on furniture (there are exceptions). However, pets are most definitely welcome on the bed. I have a small fenced-in yard which accommodates frequent backyard excursions. My tremendous love of dogs easily facilitates great care in accordance with your parameters. Please know that I am extremely careful and thoughtful with my customers' pets. For example, the garage is always closed before opening the kitchen door. I always hold a dog's collar when opening the front door of my home. I always step outside with your pup, particularly if it is dark, to oversee that all is well when being let out in the backyard.
A typical day
There are several parks close by (Cook, Channai, Bible, Lowry) and the Highline Canal. We will go on several walks and play tug of war, ball fetching etc. in the small backyard I have. There will be lots of love provided, ear scratching and plenty of good patting/cuddling.
