About: I have owned dogs my entire life and held many dog-sitting jobs throughout college. I am very intuitive and know the Capital Region well, so I am able to find the best walks and treatment specific to your pups! I enjoy being active and am excited at the opportunity to keep your dog healthy and active as well. I also have a car so getting to and from your home will be done with ease so I can focus my time on caring for your dogs with long walks, playing and feeding. I work remotely, so I have some flexibility with scheduling. I am open to dog-sitting at your house as I have done for up to two week periods of time for families with many dogs throughout DC. I work remotely, so I’m able to be very attuned to your pup and their needs! On demand walks and cuddles during the day are my favorite. I have a fenced back yard, but am open to staying at your home as well. We can work out what is best for your pup.

“We have a very anxious dog with a lot of particularities. Brianna asked questions, and listened to everything I told her about Ali. This was Ali’s first time being dog sat by anyone other than family and we were nervous to say the least, but we came home to a happy cared for dog and the house just like we left it. She gave updates and communicated any concerns. I am very excited to have found someone we trust with our anxious little girl.”

“Liz is an excellent dog sitter. During that time, she kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication with us on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving Coco and the house behind. Above all, Liz is trustworthy, and our dog looked like she was having a great time with her every time we got an update. We would be happy to use her again in the future.”

“Alyssa did a great job watching our two dogs. She fed them and let them out according to directions and they enjoyed spending time with her. We would book her again in the future.”

“Kaleigh did an excellent job taking care of my fur babies! She gave me daily updates and kept in contact with me throughout my entire trip. Highly recommend kaleigh to anyone looking for an in-home dog sitter!”

“She is the best with our pups! They adore and she takes really good care of them. Is very careful and attentive with our one dogs allergies, making sure he doesn’t eat his sisters food, which we are so greatful for!”

About: I grew up on a ranch in Vail Arizona and I have extensive experience in caring for animals of all breeds and species! I have one rescue dog (chihuahua) along with one snake and a bearded dragon. I understand that our pets are our family—often feeling like our own children—and I carry this sentiment with me when I care for other’s pets as well. I’m a part-time substitute teacher (I used to teach English in New Orleans before taking a break!) and I have a flexible schedule with summers and holidays off. I have an open yard on fish creek but I use leads for outdoor time, I welcome pets who are safe with this arrangement, are crate trained and who can get along with my friendly chihuahua Minnie who is also crate trained. When caring for a pet in your home I appreciate detailed information and I will never hesitate to reach out if I am curious or confused. If ever an emergency occurs and I cannot get ahold of you my judgment as a mother, an educator and a pet owner will dictate my actions.

About: I have three dogs at home myself and love caring for them. I’ve previously worked at a dog daycare for a couple years and learned dog body language administering some medications and giving baths. I can help with feeding, providing exercise, bathing, administering medication, and ensuring that your animal with be safe and comfortable. I currently work part time and have flexibility with my current job that allows me to help care for your pet!! I am very flexible with days and times I will be needed to care for your pet. I have a big back yard for your dog to get it’s daily exercise I have three other dogs in my home to keep yours company!!

“Nicole was just excellent with our dog Josie. She handled Josie’s anxiety so well and did so much to make sure Josie had a good time! She kept us updated frequently, and asked all the right questions. We would not hesitate to book Nicole again!”

About: I very recently got into pet sitting when two family friends asked me if I'd be interested in taking care of their Mini-Schnauzer and housesitting while they were away. Not too long after that, my cousin asked if I could watch her good boy, a sweet black pittie lab mix (pictured in my profile!) During the process of watching these dogs, I found that I genuinely enjoyed taking care of and spending time with them. So here I am! I don’t have pets of my own, so when I’m housesitting for your Dog, he/she will get my full attention. I’m responsible, respectful of your home, and happy to stick to your pets’ routines — whether that’s walks, playtime, or just companionship. Two people I’ve sat for have already offered to provide references, and I’d be happy to share those upon inquiry. If you're looking for someone dependable and dog-loving who will treat your home and animals with care, I’d love to connect! I have a flexible service industry job that works with my schedule. Adjusting my hours, should I need to for walks, playtime, feeding, etc., will not be an issue. While I am housesitting for you, I stick to your pet’s usual routine — whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I adjust to each pet’s specific lifestyle and needs, and I’m happy to follow any special instructions. I’m very communicative and send updates and photos frequently, so you know how things are going.

About: I have been a Vet assistant for almost 2 years and on the road to becoming a technician. I have also taken a 2 year small animal science program. I am fear free certified along with CPR in animals. I have a bunch of experience working with animals, and am comfortable giving medication or whatever care they may need! I have some free time when I am not working. I am pretty open as I work part time. and only have classes 2 days a week. I make sure the pet is as comfortable as I am. About: I’ve taken care of big, small and everywhere in between. Very experienced with handling dogs medications and special diets. I love going for walks, so if your dog is a walker we are a match! I took care a senior dog for many years, so also have experience with that. It has been awhile since I’ve taken care of a puppy, but I 100% feel comfortable in doing so now. I work full time but my job allows me to be a little flexible with going home for doggie potty breaks in needed. I work just outside Saratoga city limits but can run to your home quickly if that’s what your dog is use to during the day. I do not work on weekends, but like to stay busy. But when I’m at your house your dogs schedule would come 1st. I’m generally home in the evenings. I can adjust my schedule morning/evening to meet you and your pets needs. I will need to stay in your home, I don’t have a dog friendly space. I have 3 clients that I have dog sat for years while staying in their house. Could give them as reference upon request.
