About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities from calm, easygoing pups to nervous or strong dogs that sometimes think they’re training me on the leash. I stay calm in challenging situations and handle them safely without adding stress. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, as I spend most of my time at home and can give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I’m available any day of the week, including weekends, and I’m always home overnight, which makes me a great fit for boarding and extended stays. My flexible schedule allows me to adapt to each pet’s routine and provide a calm, home-like environment where pets feel safe and well cared for. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. Pets in my home are supervised most of the time and cared for in a calm, structured environment. If needed, I can separate pets or use a crate provided by the owner to ensure everyone feels safe. During walks, I always use the owner’s equipment and follow their preferences closely. Walks are kept calm and controlled, and I avoid crowded areas. Pets are never off-leash unless explicitly approved. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strictly follow house rules and handle keys or access responsibly. I communicate promptly about any concerns and will contact a veterinarian immediately in urgent situations.

About: If your dog loves people, attention, walks, adventures, and being part of the family, they will probably feel right at home with me! I provide very personalized care and only board one guest dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. There are no children or other pets in my home, so your dog gets plenty of individual attention in a calm home environment. Your dog isn't just staying at my house, they become part of my everyday life while they're with me. At home, dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable. They can sleep in my bed, curl up on the couch, or choose a therapeutic dog bed if they prefer their own quiet space. For food motivated dogs, I have five different dog puzzles and enjoy playing "find the treats" and other enrichment games. We also have a fenced yard for supervised play and relaxing outside. Most days include 3–4 walks, ranging from a quick 10-minute potty walk to a 30–45 minute adventure. Depending on what your dog enjoys, we may explore Peekskill's riverfront parks, walk around the neighborhood, or head to nearby wooded trails. For dogs who love water, swimming adventures may also be an option. Because I like having my guest dogs with me, they are rarely left home alone. Dogs staying with me should be comfortable riding in the car and enjoy being around people. They may join me for a visit to the horse farm where I board my horse or relax with me while I visit friends. Dogs who are happiest staying with me tend to be friendly, well-mannered, and enjoy attention, car rides, walks, and being included in everyday activities. Since my husband works from home, a dog with minimal barking is the best fit for our home. My apartment is on the second floor, so dogs must be comfortable using stairs independently or be small enough for me to safely carry if needed. A Little About Me I have over 14 years of hands-on experience with dogs. I have professional experience working in a commercial dog daycare, supervising groups of up to 30 small and medium-sized dogs as well as puppy groups. For more than five years, I also organized dog hikes throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. My experience is strongest with Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, Cavaliers, and similar friendly companion breeds. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, oral medications, and recognizing canine body language and signs of stress. My own Golden Retriever, Kobi, was my best friend and adventure partner for over 12 years. We hiked, kayaked, visited beaches, traveled from Maine to Florida, and shared countless everyday adventures. The way I cared for Kobi is the inspiration behind the care I provide now—I want dogs staying with me to feel included, comfortable, and loved. I am also certified in Reiki and Emotion Code energy work and bring a calm, patient approach to the dogs in my care. Prefer Care in Your Own Home? Some dogs are happiest staying in their familiar environment, and I also offer overnight house sitting. With standard house sitting, your dog should be comfortable being alone for approximately 6½ hours while I work my part-time morning shift at a dog daycare in Putnam Valley (8:00 AM–1:30 PM, 4 days a week, plus travel time). If your dog needs someone present most of the day and cannot comfortably be left for more than about two hours, I may still be able to accommodate them with extended-care house sitting at $185 per night. I require a meet-and-greet before accepting a new boarding or house-sitting client so we can make sure your dog and I are a great match. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work part-time at a dog daycare and also work from home as a self-employed bookkeeper and real estate agent. My schedule is flexible, and I can choose which days I work at the daycare, allowing me to plan around the dogs in my care. My husband also works from home, so boarding dogs are rarely left home alone. This flexibility allows me to provide plenty of companionship, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and individual attention throughout their stay. I provide a safe, calm, and personalized environment with plenty of individual attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and I live just a 5-minute walk from wooded trails for walks and adventures. Dogs have access to a comfortable sofa, toys, and puzzle games for enrichment and mental stimulation. I live in a second-floor apartment, so dogs should be comfortable using stairs.

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child! My love for animals has motivated me to enroll in vet tech school, starting this fall. I specialize in small mammals, such as rabbits and hamsters, and have owned my own. I have also cared for guinea pigs, parakeets, and aquariums. For dogs, I have experience working with both small and large breeds! I regularly look after my neighbor's dog, and love every opportunity I get to spend time with her. For cats, I have primarily done drop in visits, but have experience with administering medicine to shy cats by building trust over time. About: Hi! I'm Brittany. Nice to meet you! I have around 9+ combined years of experience petsitting and a lifetime of experience around animals. I have always loved animals and started dogwalking as a small side job in 2012 in highschool. I got my real start in 2018 working full-time for a small pet-sitting business, where I learned the ropes and built the skills I still use every day. Since about 2020 I have branched off independently and have continued to be a loved local petsitter for many clients in my area. I have experience caring for all kinds of pets including super seniors, puppies and kittens, and dogs and cats with a wide variety of medical conditions requiring administration of regular meds, treatments, or insulin. I am familar with pets with strict dietary requirements or regimens (dont worry its not too complicated!). I am comfortable handling strong pullers, leash aggressive/reactive dogs and have a gentle touch to be able to bond with fearful feral cats. I also have experience with aquatic pets, small animals like chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits and some experience with lizards and birds. I can also do water parameter testing on your aquariums if equipment is provided to me. Pets are truly my life! And I know your pets are Your life so I will always do everything to ensure your pets are loved, safe, and cared for while you are away and make sure we have lots of fun too! I work at a pet store 6 days a week from 10–6 with a midday break I use for visits. For pets needing 1 or 2 visits a day, they will happen before and/or after those hours. For overnight or 3x visit a day clients I will provide one of the visits during my lunch break. Since I work at a pet store, I can easily grab many forgotten or necessary items for your pet anytime. My schedule ensures I am usually only ever away for ~5 hours at a time. Pets I care for must be okay with some time by themselves, since my bookings are not considered 24/7 care (non -constant). If you need something more full-time, please feel free to message me and I may be able to work something out depending on the request. The schedule I keep generally works well for my clients and the majority of pet owners, but for special circumstances I can make adjustments for specific days if necessary Overnights typically include Dinner care through Breakfast care and a single return visit midday. I require all of my clients to provide up to date preferred vet information, emergency contact info and provide me prior authorization to seek emergency care for their pets. To this date I have never had to use that information for any emergencies, but I always ask for it. Other than that I will strictly follow rules requested of me, I never do any off leash without being explicitly instructed to, and will only ever provide pets snacks and food that are indicated to me to use for them. I will never take any unnecessary risks with your pet or with your home. I am always respectful with homes and try to leave them as close to how it was before or cleaner than when I arrived as possible. I will make sure plants are watered, mail is inside and check in regularly with images. I am also open to some video or voice calling with your pets if requested. I am unable to provide full home cleaning services, however, I will within reason wash requested items (such as bedding or towels), clean up after myself, and make sure pet areas and bowls are kept tidy.

About: I was a hands on member in my own dogs professional training, and I have taken care of friends and family’s dogs of all ages and breeds so there’s really nothing I haven’t seen before. That being said, I am well-versed in the high demand and needs of puppies and can confidently say that I am trained to care for them and all the hurdles that they entail. Having rescued my fur baby as a puppy off of the streets, she’s had her fair share of difficulties. Everyday has been such a blessing to see how far she’s come, and continues to. I have such a firm belief that dogs are truly a man’s best friend, and their greatest companion and deserve all the time and love that they deserve. Just from getting in walks everyday, to intentionally setting time aside to play with them is so important. In my home, I pretty much hang out with my Blaze as much as I possibly can. Every hour that I’m home, my dog is right by my side. Even when leaving the house my Blaze is in the backseat of my car ready for a road trip. I think to be deserving of a dogs love means putting in the time to treat them with the care they require, whether that time goes to an extra long walk, or play time with the ball, or even making sure she’s getting all the nutrients she needs in her food. How I can for my dog is how I intend to care for any future clients dog, with care and time.
