“Lindy was extremely communicative, on time and thorough! Our pup was so much happier upon our return from a short weekend away verses his time in a kennel. We are so thankful and will have Lindy drop in again!”

My calming demeanor and compassionate approach enable me to treat your four-legged family members with the utmost care and affection. I am currently going back to college that is self paced and have pretty much an open schedule to care for your pets. I utilize my weekends to spend time with my family and prefer not to book pet care on weekends. I possess a professional mindset and work ethic. I will adhere to your care instructions as outlined and demonstrate respect for your property, pets, and time.

“Melissa was an amazing pet sitter. She was on time for check ins and gave a thorough report of activities. We will definitely be reaching out to Melissa again!”

“Samantha was amazing at every visit! Her communication was flawless and she is very reliable. She is patient and excellent with our shy dog mikalah. We will definitely look forward to rebooking with her, and highly recommend!”

“Chrissy was awesome!! She took such great care of our lab. She went out of her way to make sure he continued in his normal routines and that he was happy and comfortable each time she was with him. I would definitely recommend her care!”

“Makya was amazing!! My schedule can be unpredictable at times but Makya was great with communicating and very flexible with my needs. She sent pictures and Uno really enjoys her! She is a pleasure to work with!”

“Jennifer is the most amazing person we could’ve booked to take care of our dogs while we were away. She went above and beyond to care for them and to make sure they were comfortable. We felt so at ease knowing they were in good hands. Our dogs love her, and we are so thankful! 100000000/10”

“Michelle has been amazing with our dog, Flynn. She's very good at communicating her schedule and letting us know if there are going to be any changes. Flynn can be a bit neurotic, but Michelle has always been very patient, took the time to ask questions during our meet & greet, and we've been very happy with her visits.”

“Love Emerald and so did Harry. She was prompt with times agreed upon. Made time to visit and meet Harry prior to our trip. Left detailed follow ups and photos that allowed us to enjoy our time away.”

About: I’ve had experience with the chillest of dogs to the most anxious and cautious. Growing up on a farm, I’ve had experience with numerous breeds with various needs. From fun-loving golden retrievers, to extremely anxious Australian Shepards and protective Pitbulls, I’ve learned how to handle a wide variety of dogs. I work from home and can be flexible with me schedule. Early morning check-ins, lunch break play dates, afternoon walks, evening entertainment - I’m your girl! I have a cat of my own who I would die for, so I know how important pets are to the people who love them! I also know how stressful it can be to leave them behind, especially when they’re used to having their person around. When caring for your pet, I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their routine as normal as possible, and give them the attention and enrichment they need. Every pet is different and I love getting to know their personality! I’ve cared for anxious pets that need extra reassurance, cuddle bugs, playful pets that want attention all day, and pets are happiest having their own space. Growing up with numerous cats and dogs, along with pet sitting for others, I’ve learned that every pet has unique needs. I’ll care for your pets the way I would want someone to care for my own and I’ll send lots of updates and pictures so you can feel confident they’re happy, safe, and getting lots of love while you’re away (:

“Mary is our new go to gal!! We just moved to the area and she accepted a short notice watch for our pups for the weekend. She handled their meds and love so well and kept us updated with pictures and notes; great and timely communication. She was also super flexible for us when our plans changed. Can’t say enough good things!”

“Alanna did a wonderful job taking care of my kitten while I was away! She kept me updated with lots of details and photos of my cat, which I appreciated so much! I would definitely recommend Alanna and am so thankful for her amazing care and attention to Opal!”

About: I have experience in the boarding kennel field for almost 10 years now and grooming for about 4 years. I can administer medicines and I’m not afraid to clean up messes after your fur babies. I have worked with big breed and small breeds and everything in between! No pup has ever scared me away from this field of work! I have 4 dogs of my own, from a Cane Corso to a small Lab mix with two Pitbulls in between. I love going on walks probably just as much as your fur baby. I can spend time with your pups Thursday - Friday 8:30 am to 2 pm and Friday to Sunday 8:30 to whenever you need. Every other day during the week I am spending time with my daughter while she’s out of school and my husband when he is home from work! If my schedule is conflicting with the times you pick, we can try and work around it. So hopefully we can work something out. I am flexible with whatever you or your fur baby will need. Even if its a belly rub... (For the pup haha) I cant wait to meet you and your pups! I sadly do not have the space for boarding your fur babies at my own home as I already have 4 fur babies myself and a toddler. But in your own home, I will follow every rule or instruction you provide and give them my full attention!
“She was great with the cats, and so communicative and sweet! Would highly recommend and will be rebooking with her for sure next time I go on a trip. Thanks Kimmie and kids!”

“Zaina was amazing! So conscientious, both of my cats (including the usually very shy one) loved her which just goes to show what a calming sweet presence she is. Kept me up to date with lots of photos, would definitely book again and would highly recommend her to anyone else!”

“Highly recommend... Kristal is amazing! She was super attentive to our two dogs while we were on a week-long vacation. We were initially worried about leaving them for so long, but she gave us frequent updates with pictures to make sure we were stress-free. One night our neighbor called us and said she heard a lot of unusual barking from the house. We thought something might be wrong, so Kristal was kind enough to go check on them for us and assured us everything was alright. She even went above and beyond by watering our plants for us. Thank you, Kristal!”

About: RN and ex-vet tech :) Excellent with dogs and cats, of all breeds, and competent to provide the necessary care for "special needs pets". Excellent trainer if any is needed or any advice. We will enjoy long walks on trails or around your neighborhood. My own animals are completely trained and get along with farm or other domestic animals. I am extremely active and like to keep pets that way too! My house is loaded with fun toys for both cats and dogs. I love to give baths and nail trims, for willing babies. I hope to spend time with your babies soon! Currently taking a break from full-time working and only work PRN as an ICU RN, so I have a lot of free time :) Prefer to take your babies on walks and help them get their exercise, but also happy to follow whatever routine you want! My own animals are very spoiled and loved. They get the maximum amount of cuddles and playtime I can give them, and I want to give that to your babies as well :)

Jennifer has done drop ins for my cats during two periods of time for me now. She is very thoughtful with the updates she leaves me on the report cards and makes sure I know my girls are safe and well taken care of. I also love when she brings her kids along to give my social butterfly of a cat a little extra attention! I will definitely continue booking with Jennifer.

- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
