“Joanna was everything we could've hoped for in an in-home sitter! For 8 days, she was so kind and gentle with our pets, flexible with our schedule, communicative at all times, sent us photos while we were gone, and administered medicine twice daily to one of our pets. She also handled emergencies like a pro. The night we left, a lightning storm knocked out our AC. It was a day and a half before we could get it repaired. She made sure our pets stayed hydrated and had plenty of fans to keep them cool until the AC was fixed. The day before we returned, an old smoke detector battery set off the fire alarm. Joanna let us know immediately and we were able to resolve the problem by phone. She played with our pets, who were shaken up by the unexpected noise, and calmed them down with toys and treats. The house was clean when we got home and our pets were brushed and obviously very well cared for. It felt like we left them with family the whole time. We will definitely be calling Joanna again for future sitting jobs. She's absolutely amazing!”

I currently volunteer at the Humane Society in my free time, and I love learning new ways to connect with and enrich animals. I am an early riser and always available before and after my work hours. I strive to try to be as flexible as possible with my schedule so my clients can rely on me anytime they need a sitter. I have experience in providing care for animals in their own homes, where they are usually most comfortable. About: I have had all kinds of pets my entire life. My grandfather was a dog breeder and boarder long ago so my care of animals started at a young age. I have taken classes on dog training and dog psychology. I currently only have 2 cats in my own home. I currently do not work much due to my health so I am around a lot to sit and care for animals. I am able to do short walks with dogs. I am willing to care for any type of animal. I currently only help out some of my friends with their businesses so I do not work full time. My schedule is typically very flexible so it is easy to fit in dog or cat care or sitting. I am willing to come to your home and keep things as normal as.possible for your pets or I am happy to bring dogs into my home. If the dog is not comfortable with cats, I keep the visiting dogs confined to our living and dining rooms so they still have enty of space. I can make room for crates if needed but am also fine with letting them sleep on the furniture at night. My yard is not fenced but I am willing to spend time with them outside while on a leash or lead. I enjoy spending time outdoors so I am often out in my yard most of the day.

About: Hi! I have over 20 years experience caring, loving, cuddling, training, exercising, feeding, watering, petting, watching, walking, playing, and grooming animals! More specifically, I have trained several dogs in agility and basic obedience. I also have had a lot of experience caring and loving many cats over those 20 years; ranging from cuddly couch potatoes to timid barn cats cats. I also have experience riding and training horses. I have worked with horses ranging from in-hand 2 year olds to showing the horse show vets. I can’t wait to make more furry friends! I currently work remotely Monday - Friday, so my schedule is very flexible! I am available all day everyday! I can work alongside a lot of schedules. I have a 3 acre fenced in field for all the running, digging, and playing their heart desires! No crating needed (unless requested). In my home, we’re all family!
