About: Kitties are my jam - I've had and taken care of cats for most of my life, including a handsome tuxedo kitty that lived to be 19 years old! Such curious creatures, I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and preferences to make them feel safe and cared for while their parents are away. As a cat mom myself, I like to read/listen about cat psychology, behavior, and even nutrition to be able to help them live their best life possible since they have given mine so much joy. One of my current girls has no teeth (as a result of caudal stomatitis) and a very sensitive stomach - it took some trial and error but seeing her thrive now was well worth it. I promise to give the same level of attention and care to your pet and to let you know if I observe anything that seems unusual. I've gotten pretty good at clipping nails and giving topical/oral meds and am familiar with cleaning up after accidents. I try to use my intuitive kitty whisperer skills and patience to connect with even the shyest of cats. As an animal rescue volunteer, I have also fostered kittens in my home - so much fun, even for my own cats. During the school year I’m a school counselor. I have flexibility with the job as I’m able to leave for a lunch break/check on your pup. Also, my counselor hours are 8:15-3:30. I am in early and off early to be able to check on your animals. *** I will be in town for the holidays :) I feed them, provide love, walks, and play with them. I am happy to have your kennel here for them if it helps them feel more comfortable. That is not a requirement though. I prefer going to your home only because the animals tend to do better in their own home. However, that is not required.

About: Hello! My name is Skylar Kerr and I am an Elementary Music teacher in Sarasota. I LOVE dogs, and being in a place where I can’t have a dog of my own yet has been hard. I am excited to get to love your dogs and play with them now too. Pet sitting is something I've done for many years and have grown up with 5 dogs of my own. I also have experience with dogs of all ages. From house sitting a 1 year old for two weeks, as well as helping to take care of my own 15 year old pup who I had to help go in and out to use the restroom and wake to make sure he eats. I love going for walks and know that some dogs need more patience than others, and some need more energy than others(LOTS MORE). I am excited and look forward to getting to play and bond with your puppies!! I am currently working full time so during the week I am available in the morning and afternoons to check in on your pups.
