“Lisa and Matt are amazing people! Their love for animals is immense and instantly obvious. They are so warm-hearted, detail oriented, loving, and communicative. Our golden retriever has epilepsy and requires a special regimen of (a lot of) medication. They set alarms to ensure his medication was administered on time, provided updates about his behavior and food/water intake, sent pictures of him, and made us feel so at ease. It is hard to find and trust quality pet sitters in general, but especially when your fur baby has special needs. We would 1000% recommend Lisa and Matt to anyone looking for quality care. “Jes was incredible with our little Judy! Since she is just a tiny little dog, we are sometimes a bit "overprotective" (haha) and we were nervous to leave her in the hands of someone else. Jes went above and beyond to make us feel as if she was in good hands- took time to learn all about her, sent regular updates, lots of adorable photos, and gave her all the love she needed when she was missing us! He tested out all of her tricks and took her on several neighborhood walks. When we had car trouble on the way back to get her, our pickup time was delayed a bit and Jes was incredibly patient and understanding the whole time, continuing to give Judy so much love and attention. About: Hello! My name is Skylar Kerr and I am an Elementary Music teacher in Sarasota. I LOVE dogs, and being in a place where I can’t have a dog of my own yet has been hard. I am excited to get to love your dogs and play with them now too. Pet sitting is something I've done for many years and have grown up with 5 dogs of my own. I also have experience with dogs of all ages. From house sitting a 1 year old for two weeks, as well as helping to take care of my own 15 year old pup who I had to help go in and out to use the restroom and wake to make sure he eats. I love going for walks and know that some dogs need more patience than others, and some need more energy than others(LOTS MORE). I am excited and look forward to getting to play and bond with your puppies!! I am currently working full time so during the week I am available in the morning and afternoons to check in on your pups. And on the weekends have all the time to give them the love and activity they would need while you’re away! I live in a ground floor condo giving easy access for pups of all ages, as well as a large community area to walk around with lots of grass and open space. I can happily crate your dog if needed or give them the living room to lounge in while gone for short periods of time. And will happily continue whatever care your pets are used to in your own home!
