About: I have over 25 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds, with a primary focus on dogs and cats. I grew up around animals and have continued working with them throughout my adult life, both personally and professionally. I currently have a chihuahua/bulldog mix named Miiso, who I trained myself, as well as a speckled king snake named Olive (my favourite animals are females named after food). In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve cared for rodents, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and other exotic animals, so I’m comfortable following detailed care routines and respecting each animal’s unique needs. I’m extremely attentive, safety-focused, and naturally good at reading animal behavior, which helps me build trust quickly, even with shy or hesitant pets. I’m a self-employed artist and musician, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to focus on pet care. Daily walks, feeding routines, check-ins, and quality time with animals fit naturally into my day. I care for pets as if they were my own, closely following their normal routines for feeding, exercise, and rest. I keep a watchful eye on all animals under my care and prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency at all times.

“Janelle agreed to take housesit my 2 dogs (8 y/o Husky/Aussie mix and a 3 year old Dachshund) fairly last minute, and I’m so glad we found her! Right before I left, my husky injured his paw, and I initially felt nervous leaving him. She made me feel comfortable the entire time because she kept me updated on his status and sent a lot of pictures. At one point, he wasn’t interested in his food and she HAND fed him to encourage him to eat. Also, I had a huge, very heavy package delivered early while she was there, and she managed to get it inside and out of the rain. She truly went above and beyond. I would 100% use Janelle again and would recommend her to other dog parents.”

Kyle is absolutely amazing! He did a phenomenal job house sitting with our three dogs! How can we tell… we came back to a clean house and our dogs were so happy and relaxed. Our Dutch Shepherd, who is an high energy dog, was calm and content when we arrived home and our Bernedoodle who suffers from anxiety did not appeared drained and exhausted. He constantly engaged with our pups and we never were worried that they were stressed or being neglected. He always responded when we reached out, gave updates and sent photos. We could really enjoy our vacation this time unlike other times where the sitters just had us stressed. He asked questions, followed our instructions and genuinely cares about the animals. He was diligent about giving one of our dogs his meds and was honest and transparent. I am relieved to have finally found someone we can trust and count on to take care of our pups the way we do. Hayden is the kindest, most communicative person! He has been responsive from day 1 and really has displayed that he is a reliable sitter before the job ever began . I have faced so much breed discrimination here on this very platform and also have had the toughest experience of inconsistent or non- existent communication: however,Hayden has helped me restore my hope that there are honest, reliable , and communicative people who exist. Robbie was fantastic! Robbie was professional, punctual and very attentive to our three pups. Robbie went above and beyond with the pups by taking them on daily walks and playing with them every time he came over. Marisa did an amazing job taking care of my two dogs. She communicated daily with pictures and updates. She wrote down all of their needs during the meet visit which makes everything very easy. I definitely would have her watch my dogs again in the future. She gave me peace of mind while I was away for a few days.
Jeremy stayed at our home for a week with our fur babies. He took great care of them, sent pics and videos, and kept us updated all week. We were lucky to have him! He not only watched our babies, but grabbed the mail, watered the plants, and even washed the sheets after staying at our home. Above and beyond and greatly appreciated! I highly recommend Shelby, usually my dogs take some time to bond with people but not with Shelby! They ran towards her just after the second day! Shelby followed directions well and did overall a great job! She groomed my dogs and they feel so soft and I’m so happy I found her on here! Best dog sitter ever!
