Great choice! Super friendly, kind, loves to play with the animals, really cares about your animals and makes them feel special. My dog loved her and was not scared at all, she was inviting and comforting to my dog. The only thing is communication/texting could be a little better but I loved that she sent pictures, updates and made me feel comfortable that she was looking after my dog.

Whether it’s giving meds, keeping a routine, or just making sure your pet feels safe and loved, I bring years of hands-on experience and a whole lot of heart. About: I've owned cats and dogs of various kinds most of my life. Family members and close neighbors have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their pets as well, though I am new to Rover's services. I have a few training skills as I train my own dog. I have full availability for the Summer, as a college student, and my schedule is very flexible as a result. This includes options for weekends, weekdays, and overnights. As a pet owner myself, I can ensure your pet will receive love and attention, and any special instructions will be dutifully taken care of.

About: I have experience with various pets such as Great Pyrenees, Great Danes, Yorkies, German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, long hair cats, short hair cats, Poodles, etc. I also have experience with reactive dogs as well as training dogs to sit, stay, lay down, heel, and reduce unwanted jumping. I have taken care of pets by grooming them, supervising play with other animals, feeding, cleaning up any messes, trimming nails, etc. I'm looking forward to take care of your fur babies :) I'm currently a university student, so please be courteous with my schedule. I am free most weekends, mornings, evenings, and nights. During May-August I will be available more for pet sitting. I pay attention to your pet's body language and do not overstep their boundaries. I am able to properly use a shock collar (if one is provided or requested) while still maintaining a good relationship with the pet and use positive reinforcement as well. Pictures of your pets can be sent while they are under my care at your request. I am able to keep pets under control during walks using positive reinforcement and handle encounters with other animals well during walks.

About: Hi! My name is Lauren, and caring for dogs is something I genuinely love. I understand how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pets, and I strive to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I have hands on experience working at a vet owned doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and needs. Through that experience, I’ve become comfortable handling: * Puppies and high-energy dogs * Senior dogs needing extra patience and care * Dogs with medical needs and medication schedules * Reactive or dog-aggressive dogs * Anxious or shy dogs who need a calmer approach Because of my background, I’ve learned how to read dog body language, recognize stress signals, and adapt to each dog’s unique personality and routine. My goal is always to make your pet feel as relaxed and happy as possible while keeping you updated for peace of mind. I currently only offer care in the owner’s home because I believe many dogs are happiest and least stressed in their familiar environment. Staying in their own home allows them to keep their routine, sleep comfortably, and receive one-on-one attention and care. Since my husband is currently deployed, I’m back home full-time, I have a very flexible schedule and am available 24/7 for your pet’s needs. This means plenty of potty breaks, playtime, walks, cuddles, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. Not just quick drop-ins. I know leaving your pet with someone else can be nerve wracking, so communication is very important to me. I’ll always keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is in caring and capable hands. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! Pet care easily fits into my daily routine since I currently have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight care depending on your needs. I do my best to follow your dog’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Consistency is always my goal, whether that’s feeding times, walks, or potty breaks. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Since I provide care in the owner’s home, your pet stays in a familiar environment, which helps reduce stress and anxiety. I carefully follow all instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, and behavior guidelines. With my background working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, I’m experienced in handling dogs of all temperaments, including puppies, senior dogs, medical needs, and dogs that may be reactive or need extra patience. I always use calm, attentive handling and prioritize positive, stress-free interactions

Just moved here a little over a week ago and am soooo happy to have found someone that I can trust with my fur baby. About: We have a cat and a dog of our own and they are like family for us! They are our babies! Let us love yours like our own as well! I would have all the animals if I could! We love spending time with our babies and would love to take care of yours just like you would! I will be home with them all day and night! Someone will be here around the clock unless we have to run a quick errand to which they won’t be here alone long! We are working on fencing in a portion of our 13 acres to care for others pets! We live way off the road and they have lots of area to play! We have plenty of area to walk them and let them play.

About: I love dogs! I'm home full time so my schedule is very flexible. I have a dog of my own, he's a black lab named Thor, hes 4 months old and such a character! I have lots of fun playing with him and gets along well with other dogs. I have a fenced in backyard too so Thor needs a play date to get his bursts of energy out! I can also groom your fur baby, I can give them a bath and I have a dog blow dryer, I also know how to clip their nails and brush them. I would give them all the love and attention that I give to my very own fur baby! If you have any questions about anything please dont hesitate to ask!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
