“Melissa was wonderful with our dog during his stay at her house! She sent us regular photos of him with her family and he couldn't have been happier. We will definitely be working with Melissa in the future!”

“I am so thrilled to have met Yuiko. My dog, Luna, stayed with her for doggy day care earlier in the year. Yuiko took wonderful care of her. This time she stayed overnight for 4 nights. Yuiko sent me pictures showing me how happy Luna was! When I picked Luna up, she was thrilled to see me but was in no rush to leave Yuiko and her very loving family!”

“Jennifer and her family were the perfect fit for our 2yo dachshund, Linguine. This was our first time being away from him for a week and she was communicative every day with photos and updates. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Amy was amazing with my dog, Roxy!! I highly recommend using her. Roxy is an older mini goldendoodle and Amy was so accommodating and sweet with her. I got daily updates with photos. I felt so comfortable and Amy made the process super smooth. I booked her last minute and so glad I did. I highly recommend and would use her again!”

“Alexandra and family are always wonderful to my baby boy! But this time they go above and beyond! We left for a week. And unfortunately, he ran out of food. Alexandra and family cooked him homemade food, like I did with him! Just exceptional!!!”

“John took amazing care of our 7.5 month old puppy Rufus. This was Rufus's first ever overnight stay away from us, and was in preparation for a longer stay coming up in November. We definitely feel reassured that Rufus is in the best possible care staying here. Given his young age, we needed someone who could provide Rufus with a pretty high level of attention and John really delivered on that! He sent us lots of photos and detailed updates about how Rufus was getting on, and was patient and understanding about Rufus's puppy behaviours. We appreciated that he even worked on some training techniques with Rufus during his stay. When we picked him up, Rufus seemed very torn about whether to stay with John and Parker or to come home with us! Thank you John!”

“Danielle was so sweet and accommodating! Super responsive to my messages and willing to work with my crazy timeline. My dog LOVES playing with other dogs so it was plus to have Danielle’s dog as a companion. We will definitely use Danielle again.”

“Bryce was available on short notice and remained responsive over DMs throughout our interactions. I got lots of photos and updates on Wallace during his stay. I would recommend anyone to place their pet in Bryce's cade.”

“Tamikia came through clutch when I needed a last minute sitter for my fur baby and she took excellent care of him. She is the most responsive host you’ll ever encounter and she sent regular updates of Brodee without prompting which I really appreciated since it was his first time with her. Definitely worth the trip over the bridge (I’m from NJ)!”

“Patty is the absolute best! She took such great care of my dog Pippa for an extended stay. She was so kind and communicative. She treated my little girl like she was her own. She and her husband are truly dog whisperers.”

“Maya's stay with Melanie over Christmas was great. Melanie's home is very welcoming and she made every effort to make sure Maya was comfortable. Thank you for having her and I will definitely be in touch for a future stay!”

“Mary was WONDERFUL. I left my dog with her for 12 days, the longest I have ever been away from my dog. I had nothing to be nervous about as Mary kept me in the loop the whole time I was away. She was great at providing physical activity with my dog which is a huge part of her well being! They have a lot of yard space outside which is great for running around and made me feel comfortable! She was professional and timely with answering any of my questions about my dog. Was receptive to any special requests I had made for my dog as well which was great! I would 100% book with her again if I am going away! Also she sends photo updates which I LOVED!”

“Christiana and her family was very good for my dog. She kept me updated through out my absent and in the end I find my dog in good shape, happy and healthy.”
“Kerry took excellent care of our shy rescue pup, Samson. She was very communicative and provided lots of photos. Samson will be hanging out with Kerry again soon!”

“Rebecca went above and beyond through the entire process. It was my first time using Rover and she exceeded my expectations. She is SO sweet and Sydney enjoyed her vacation with her. I will definitely be scheduling with her again.”
“Gregory was very responsive to my last minute request for boarding. My dog is little and anxious, and I was not sure how she would do with another dog as large as Koda, Gregory’s dog. But Koda turned out to be very well trained and had a lovely calm demeanor. Maya was very comfortable and I will definitely be using Gregory again!”

About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, including my own cat, Winston, and my family’s Great Pyrenees. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, litter box care, playtime, and maintaining daily routines. I also grew up with a cat who had cerebellar hypoplasia, which taught me how to provide care tailored to special needs pets. I am a full-time law student, so my schedule varies slightly week to week depending on classes and academic commitments. I have a flexible routine and am generally available for pet care in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends. I’m especially well-suited for drop-in visits and dog walking. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication in every visit. I follow all care instructions closely, supervise pets at all times, and treat your home with respect. I also provide regular updates so you know your pet is safe and well cared for.
“Danielle is everything you want in a pet sitter! She took great care of my cat, was Quick to reply, punctual, great update/ pictures and communication I would absolutely recommend her 100%”

“Alexis took excellent care of my cat while I was away for a family wedding!!! I had just recently moved, and my cat is still traumatized by the move. Alexis ensured that he was eating and drinking. And she provided continuous updates, which helped my anxiety about leaving him. Thanks to Alexis I was able to enjoy the wedding!! I won’t hesitate to reach out to Alexis if I need a sitter again.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 3 years and I also work at a doggy day care. I’m very comfortable and experienced with handling a lot of dogs at once, as well as different sizes, ages, breeds and temperaments. I also have experience caring for sick or injured dogs. On top of dogs, I have experience caring for cats, birds and reptiles. I am currently finishing my psychology degree, and then moving on to my veterinary technician degree. My dream is to work with animals, and I’m eager for more experience to grow my resume! I work Tuesday-Friday, with Thursday and Friday being my longer shifts (8 hours). If your dog is okay being alone for that period of time, or if you only need me for one night, I am completely willing to board those nights! If not, I am completely available the whole day Saturday-Monday. Most of my dog sitting experience has been dog and house sitting in the clients home. I am a very clean and respectful guest, and I feel being at home makes it easier on the dogs when their parents are gone. Being in an unfamiliar place with a person they don’t know can be stressful, overstimulating and anxiety inducing for many dogs. My biggest priority is not only the safety and health but the happiness of the dogs I watch.
“Jinx was amazing doing drop ins with my cat. My cat is super shy and won’t even come out to say hi to people she’s familiar with, but she felt comfortable around Jinx immediately - and Jinx really went above and beyond to send photos and videos, and responded to all of my messages really quickly. Jinx, thank you for watching her! And anyone looking for a sitter, especially for shy pets: Reach out to Jinx! She’s amazing.”

“Not our first review, but highly recommend Emily!! She sat for us twice before and did a great job, so we had her make several visits during a longer vacation and she brought peace of mind as usual. She is a true cat lover which is exactly who you want checking in while you’re away!”

“Elizabeth was fantastic with my two cats, Roxie and Stormie! She was so patient with our skittish girl, Stormie, and still gave plenty of love and attention to Roxie. I will definitely be booking her for future visits!”

About: I’ve had cats since I was 10 — at one point up to 10 when my parents’ cat had kittens! I’m an expert at giving senior cats medicine, as the one I found as a kitten in college made it through several bi-coastal moves and reached the grand old age of 20. Even shy cats seem to warm to me quickly. I’d love to look in on your fur babies!

“Melissa has been flexible and supportive when caring for my puppy! She's been thoughtful in suggesting ideas to help Toffee be more comfortable alone (she's not used to my schedule of going back to the office a few days a week yet). I appreciate the ease of mind she provides when I can't be home with my cutie.”

About: I’ve done drop in visits and boarding for cats that need an extra eye out or just making sure they are safe and healthy! Played with those who needed extra exercise and cuddled with those that just wanted to sleep! I’ve also administered medications, cleaned out litter box, and feed/change water bowls! I can do whatever your cat’s needs are!
“Extremely reliable and communicative! My dog has anxiety when we leave. Jeff went above and beyond to make her as comfortable as possible including staying at our house overnight and additional check-ins during the day. I would recommend Jeff to everyone looking for a safe, reliable person for their pets.”

About: Hi! We’re Electra and Crescent. We love travel, food and animals! 🐾 We’re lifelong pet parents who have shared our home with cats and dogs for decades. We currently live with three cats of our own (2 belonged to my late mother) Kiki the senior Russian blue, Helena the toothless full figured queen and Charles Mr. Humpty Dumpty. We genuinely love caring for animals and understand the unique needs of picky eaters, seniors, energetic and active animals or pets who prefer calm, low-stress environments. We call Charles our “special needs baby” since he is neutered but loves to hump his cat toy (Matilda) Kiki was my mom’s cat who is a senior and has IBD aside from her IBD (which we are managing) she’s a very quiet, laid back cat that likes her quality time. Helena was my mom’s cat and talk about food focused! Despite having only 2 bottom teeth this thick beauty don’t let that stop her! 🐾 I’m Electra and I’m available most of the day. My husband Crescent works Monday–Friday during the day (usually finished by late afternoon). This gives us excellent flexibility for pet sitting: • Boarding at our home: We can typically do pet pickups early evenings or anytime on weekends. • Drop-offs: You can bring your pet anytime. We can also do pickups for you Monday–Friday after 5 pm or anytime on weekends. Since I’m home I can provide personalized, attentive care for your furry family members. Whether it’s longer walks, extra play sessions, or simply quiet companionship for pets that get lonely, we tailor our care to what each animal needs. We board cats (up to 3) or small-medium dogs (up to 2) at a time. We have a dedicated spare bedroom that works beautifully as a cozy “cat hotel” or “doggie retreat” — complete with a litter box, cat tree, twin bed, toys and TV for background noise. Your pets get complete free-roaming access in this room with no crates. Privacy with one family at a time to ensure a calm, stress-free environment for your pet with access to ring camera for boarding stays. We’ll ensure that your cats have a freshly clean litter box daily, interaction multiple hours a day, great window view for birdwatching and followed feeding routine. Your dogs will have plenty of time outside, I’m available and can provide multiple walks and engagement throughout the day, with comfortable indoor space for relaxation and eating routines. You’ll have peace of mind knowing your furry babies are safe and in a controlled space. We offer Ring camera access so you can check in anytime, plus daily text updates with photos and details about how their day went. When we visit your home, we’re extremely mindful of your pet’s normal routines. We’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and playtime if they crave it, or respectful space if they prefer quiet time — always with their comfort and happiness as our top priority.

“I needed a sitter on very short notice, and Zyi (sorry if I spelled your name wrong 😓) was incredibly accommodating! About: Hi, my name is Shandara. I live in Roxborough and I have a Standard poodle named Biscotti. Biscotti and I love to go on long walks and explore the neighborhood. If you live in the area, you’ve probably seen us around! Biscotti is so adorable and we love to try fun haircuts, so he tends to attract a lot of attention. I’ve taken care of pets since I was a child. Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, and fish. I’ve had my own dog now for 5 years and I’ve been trusted by many family members and friends to care for their pets. Having a fur baby myself, I understand the struggle and anxiety that come with needing to find the right care. We all hope for someone responsible and loving who will make our pet feel right at home. My hope is to be that person for you. My goal is to provide exceptional care so you can enjoy your time away knowing that your loved one is in good hands. I recently left my 9-5 in Investment Operations to pursue my dreams of working for myself. I’m home all day, every day of the week, so I have plenty of availability to care for your fur baby. Finding the right caretaker is an investment and you can rest assured you’re making the right decision with me! I have a small fenced in yard and one friendly dog who would be happy to keep your fur baby company. I’m happy to work with you to ensure your pet is safe & happy whether in your home or mine. Safety is a priority so pets are never left together unsupervised.

“Shawna is so amazing and patient with my very shy dog. He was in love with her after only meeting her twice. I was surprised how quick she got him to warm up. She has been extremely reliably over the past 3 months of walking Apollo, and had never missed a day. She is a total lifesaver for me and my dog. I feel very fortunate to have come across her here on Rover!”

“Christel is extremely communicative and responsive....but most importantly, our dog genuinely enjoys his walks with her. She does a thorough job walking him around the neighborhood, allowing plenty of time for sniffing.....AND she has the patience to deal with our cranky old dog when he just doesn't wanna go outside. She's successfully lured him downstairs and coaxed him into his much needed walks several times. She is our regular walker for a reason!! Highly recommend.”

“Colette was an amazing dog walker, my dogs absolutely loved her and we will definitely miss her. She was communicative, prompt, and so sweet with our girls. They got to know her car and would get so excited when they saw it coming down our street!”

About: I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone patient, gentle, and trustworthy while you’re away. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks — and I love getting to know what makes each one special. For dogs, this may include walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. For cats, I spend time playing, brushing if they enjoy it, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure they feel comfortable and relaxed. My goal is simple: to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while giving you peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate most requests. I kindly ask for at least 3 days’ notice in advance. I’ll always do my best to work around your needs and provide dependable care for your pet. I provide detailed updates and photos for each visit, and I always pay attention to pets’ behavior and comfort level and make sure owners receive updates so they can feel reassured while away. I carefully follow feeding routines, walking instructions, litter box care, fresh water changes, and any special care requests.
“Elizabeth is very sweet and responsible and my little dog Charlie absolutely loved her. She's also very flexible. I had to change the time for a dog walk and it was no problem at all. I highly recommend her!”

“Very gentle with my little chihuahua whippet mix. By day 4 of walks he was very excited to see Alexis when she arrived for his walk. Unfortunately, weather was so miserably hot outside, longest walk was only about 20 minutes. Shortest about 12 minutes (paid for 30 minutes walks). I would definitely use her again! Highly recommend!”

“I was incredibly greatful Donte was able to watch Marley very last minute after someone else cancelled 2 days before and another ghosted me after agreeing. Marley has never stayed outside our house, so I (and Marley) was so nervous, but he seemed just perfect.”

“Liam was great! Left my dog for the first time to go on vacation and he sent me multiple texts a day with pictures to assure me things were going smoothly. He was very flexible and accommodating. My dog loved him and will no doubt book with Liam again!”

“Our dogs had a great holiday stay with Emilie! She took wonderful care of them, they were happy, safe and calm with her. I appreciated the frequent updates and photos as we really missed them while we were away. Emilie was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend her!”

“As a first time Rover user, Chris is an asset to the company. He accepted Theo as a boarding guests for two nights. Chris was extremely generous with his time ahead of our booking in a meet-and-greet and walk. He is knowledgeable, personable, giving, and very loving to animals. The updates were encouraging and plentiful (even without my asking). Chris cared for my best friend as my own, and made this whole experience great. As I warned him at pickup, he is now part of our family. Thank you Rover... and HUGE THANKS to Chris for making this company/service/experience incredible.”

“Kristin was wonderful with Charlie, and when I had a slight change in plans was able to accommodate them very easily. Was always responsive and sent me lots of photos from the weekend. Will definitely send Charlie back!”
“Samantha was great! Very knowledgeable about dogs. She sent me a picture of her daughter reading Milo a book. Adorable! She kept me updated about Milo and informed me of a health condition with Milo. Very much appreciated!”

“Colin was able to watch our dog on very short notice, and was very responsive throughout Sully’s stay with him! It was great that Sully had some play mates and they got along great with each other.”
